Biography
Hogstul was founded in 2019 by Kjetil Ytterhus (Profane Burial, ex-Haimad, Khôra, Omnia Moritur). The band/project’s first intentions was to release a pure orchestral journey with material gathered from over the years. When the track “A Nightmare at 40 Fathoms” was finished arranged and the orchestra worked to perfection, Kjetil felt something was missing, even though the desired feelings were present and achieved. Drums were programmed as a test to see if this could be a metal project worthy. Then guitars and bass were written and done as well before the ultimate challenge; vocals. Kjetil had never before done any vocals what so ever, but a microphone was bought and then he entered his studio with great spirit. Hogstul then sent all the material to Stemcellar studio for three mix and mastering sessions during the years 2019-2020.

A' Répìt is a duo from Italy playing oldschool Black Metal. "I canti della veglia" is the second and a concept album that brings back to life the ancient legends that old people used to tell children on harsh and dark winter evenings, when they had finished feeding the cattle and everything was under a veil of torpor and the ancient spirits of Nature and the creatures of the small people, like witches, demons and other presences woke up! Gypaetus and Skarn await you on the high peaks with a very special guest, Nequam from "The Magik Way".
Dividing the Ocean "DTO" was formed in the beginning of 2020. Dan and Chris (both guitarists) often had the idea of writing their own songs and realized it at the mid of 2019. After a while, the whole project has grown and the big search for new members began. In January 2020 they found Johannes, who helps them out on drums. In May 2020, the second Johannes joined DTO as bassist. Last but not least, DTO finally got their front man Samuel at the end of September 2020.

In times of corona, it´s always difficult to meet your family and friends. And its also difficult to do the thing we love, which is making music together. With this video, we tried something different, to bring our music to the world. Every single band member has his own television and can be a part in a new way.
Hån (Norwegian for "scorn") from Switzerland play mostly fast-paced, traditional Black Metal with a melodic edge, reminiscent of the classic Finnish style.
The band was founded in 2009 and has ever since been active, on-stage - supporting numerous big Black Metal acts all across Europe - and off, even though "Breathing the Void" is only their second album after the well-acclaimed 2016 debut "Facilis Descensus Averni".

'The Band Repent' is a high energy thrash metal band from Casper , Wyoming . The band was officially formed August 1, 2019 when guitarist/vocalist Jeremy Amack and drummer Shawn Hill held their first practice. A few months later the duo was playing their first show. Next, the pair went straight to the studio and tracked their first single, ' 1,000 Years' . The song was tracked by Marc Felten and mixed/mastered by Kevin George . After the show and the release of their debut song guitarist Steve Thomas joined the band in early December 2019. The band quickly began rehearsal as a three piece and played another show to their biggest crowd yet! Next, after trying out a few bassists, the band recruited Joe Rodriguez in February 2020.
They are now playing as many shows as possible as they write more singles and track their debut EP " WRITTEN IN BLOOD "
The band has grown so fast in such a short period of time with their rapidly expanding social media presence as well as promoting their single ' 1,000 Years' which at the time of this writing has been spun on 60+ radio stations around the world!
With COVID halting several of their shows, the band went into the studio again to track ' WAR' , which released January 23, 2021 to massive fan fare. The band recorded and mixed this song themselves with Aaron Hanson mastering the single.
With an EP coming out in early 2021 ' The Band Repent ' is now focused on touring opportunities, radio station airplay, record label interest, and world wide success.
In Autumn of 2018, Toni Tieaho decided to found project band called Existence Depraved. At that time the band was kind of trophy band which composed songs based on good vibes. After releasing the bands first EP "Hectivity" in 2019, Toni started to search for band members to grow this project to real and complete active band. Now they have started to rehearse together and soon they will be ready to start recordings of their debut album.

Jarret Beach, the person behind the one-man-band that is Discarded Self has this to say about the song “Orbitoclast”:
“The song Orbitoclast is a collection of riffs and vocal ideas I actually started this project with. It starts off slow, but gets straight down to it with a thrashy section that has shredding vocals bleeding all over it. For those that aren't aware, an Orbitoclast is the instrument that is hammered into a person's brain, when they were the poor individual who received a lobotomy in the late 40's early 50's. The song is of course about the horrifying practice of lobotomy, but has an extra hidden meaning. It's a metaphor for giving your trust to someone who doesn't have your best interests in mind, and only their own personal interest, with no concern of who they damage along the way.”
Flooding forth with misery and hate comes the first album from Discarded Self, the Canadian solo project from Jarret “Fuzzgod” Beach, who’s also a member of the bands Destroy My Brains and Ashes of Yggdrasil. Calgary’s Osyron released their new album "Foundations" during July 2020. The record is an immersive exploration of Canadian history and identity, speaking on topics on the country's colonization to the mistreatment and recognition of Aboriginals to the country's participation in global warfare. Although it is not a conceptual release, it does bear a consistent theme across nearly the entirety of the record. For fans of Nightwish, Dream Theater, and Wintersun; Osyron is progressive, powerful metal with a knack for engaging storytelling.
Today, the band presents their new music video for "The Cross", it's a track that reflects on Canada's history of colonialism and extreme religious expansion in its early birth by the European superpowers of the 16th and 17th centuries. Large populations of both English and French settlers found themselves amongst a free run, "lawless society" of First Nation sub-groups, which gave way to a ruthless chess match of assimilation and warfare; while unfortunately bringing both together many times.

With Jesse James (acoustic guitar/lead vocals) and Oatmeal Reed (bass/dirty vocals) at the helm, Black TarPoon tells tales of loss, addiction, and so-called hillbilly life in 2020. Jesse and Oatmeal are joined by Jesse's wife and Oatmeal's sister Tashia The Don on washboard/backing vocals, Jesse's father Billy Mo on lead guitar/backing vox, and family friend Chi Chi Picante on drums. (Do you need a chart to keep track of this? We might need a chart.) The band says of their tongue-in-cheek name, "We assure you it's not slang for a woman's private parts. We use the word 'poon' as in a foolish person. The name is basically an anti-heroin reference. We've had loved ones pass away due to heroin overdose... Heroin can make the best of us fools."
Black TarPoon was founded by Jesse and Oatmeal in 2014, and they released their Creature from the Black TarPoon EP shortly thereafter. That was followed by the A Macing Graze full-length in 2017, the Blacked Out at Muddy Roots split 7" in 2019, and The Thad EP in 2020. They've performed at festivals across the country, including Muddy Roots Music Festival in Tennessee, Folk Shit Up Music Festival and Dave TV in Texas, and the Moonrunners Music Festival in Chicago. A force in their local scene, the band has also helped revive the roots and folk punk scene in southern Texas.
With their wry lyrics, skillful songwriting, and an authentic dose of South Texas grit, Black TarPoon is a band to watch.

"Apocalyptic Retribution" is the second album by Dresden death metallers Saprobiontic and will be released on February 19th via MDD Records.
"Apocalyptic Retribution" was mixed and mastered by mastermind Jörg Uken at Soundlodge Studio and features 10 tracks of finest brutal death metal, peppered with blast beats, a hard-hitting guitar sound and a lot of groove. Since the band does not have a permanent drummer at the moment, none other than Michiel van der Plicht (Pestilence, ex-God Dethroned) could be recruited for this task.
IMMORTAL GUARDIAN – hailed by MetalSucks as “seriously epic” – has unveiled a music video for “Clocks”, the third single from their forthcoming concept album “Psychosomatic”. The clip, which features footage from the last time the extreme progressive/power metal quartet was together before the Covid pandemic broke out, can be viewed via its premiere on GearGods HERE.
“No matter how hard we try to control our futures, history constantly repeats itself,” guitarist/keyboardist Gabriel Guardian says of the new single. “'Clocks' is a song about trying to break out of cycles that seem to inevitably repeat themselves.”
The video for “Clocks” features footage from the band's early production work on “Psychosomatic”, as well as clips of their experiences at last year’s NAMM convention, which was the last time the band was together prior to the pandemic. Due to subsequent lockdowns – the subject of a song and video the band released last month – “Psychosomatic” ended up being a truly multi-national record, with Gabriel remaining in Las Vegas, vocalist Carlos Zema recording his vocals from his home in Brazil, new drummer Justin Piedimonte contributing from his hometown of Montreal, Canada, and new bassist Joshua Lopez remaining in IMMORTAL GUARDIAN's native Texas.
The song and video for “Clocks” also features a dizzying dual guitar/keyboard solo from Gabriel Guardian. His uncanny ability to play guitar and keyboard simultaneously has been showcased on MTV's “Amazingness,” and his unique dual-instrument covers of classics by the likes of Iron Maiden, Pantera and Guns N' Roses have garnered hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube. The song also captures the soaring vocal performance of Zema and the power brought to the table by new members Piedimonte and Lopez.

The Lyrics are written mainly based on Spiritual Satanism . They also have a Buddhist philosophical view combined with Satanic laws which gives them a unique theme and represents what Luciferianometh is about!
Luciferianometh is influenced by bands like Behemoth, Inquisition, Morbid Angel, and many more.
The band's logo was drawn by Cadaver Axe, who is from the U.S.A. Cadaver Axe is also the man behind the project Halo Pus . The cover art in the album, Sivtas, was drawn by Abgiour from the Argentinian band, Lux Anguis . All song mixing and mastering is done by Eligor himself as a standard audio engineer. Eligor is comfortable with engineering the original sound of Luciferianometh .
Byron is a melodic heavy metal band from Finland founded 2019 as a one-man studio project, now standing as a full-grown band. Byron mixes its eclectic sound with influences from various genres, such as occult rock and doom, topping it with themes and imagery of the arcane and the occult.

The band is excited to reveal today cover artwork, tracklist and the new killer single “Corn, Drought and the Lord”.
Byron V says: "The song "Corn, Drought and the Lord" is the second single taken from "The Omega Evangelion", an occult rock song loosely based on the 1977 short story "Children of the Corn" by Stephen King - one of my favorite writers of all time. I've always wanted to do something musicwise as a tribute to mr. King, so this was a logical step to do as a part of this project.
The song started with a working title "Church of Void", based on the legacy behind the name, having the bizarre reverend mr. Void and his congregation, the Church of Void, as it was originally made to the band but never made its way to decent rehearsal. But when the lyrics start to take their form, the song kind of started to give birth to itself and grew out of the original lyrical concept to how it eventually turned out to be.
It's a great song with -to my ear atleast- a bit Ghost-ish chorus and once again, awesome guitar licks by mr. Puusaari, (as a fun fact to mention, recording the tracks on one stand, hearing the song first time on the same sessions. Phew.)"
Los Angeles, California's Sea of Snakes are pleased to announce they will release their new EP World On Fire on April 2nd.

Formed by longtime friends Jeff Murray of The Shrine (drums) and Jim McCloskey of MotorSickle (guitar), the two were soon joined by heavy-hitting vocalist Tracy Steiger (formerly of Saul of Tarsus) and new-to-town bassist Mick Coffman. In the tradition of Down and COC, Sea of Snakes offers up straightforward, fuzzed-out heavy metal. The grit of bands like Black Flag, Judas Priest, Motörhead, and Alice in Chains are also present in World of Fire's five unapologetic tracks.

DEIQUISITOR was formed in 2013 by drummer Henrik B.C. and guitarist/vocalist Thomas F.J., both members of several Order of the Nonagram bands, including Blodfest and Wolfslair. The duo came together as DEIQUISITOR with the intent of returning to their death metal roots.
DEIQUISITOR plays fast-paced and aggressive death metal, influenced by the sound and style of the early 90’s bands. Lyrically, the band draws heavily from concepts such as occult science, ancient mysteries and apocalyptic theories.

AMORIELLO Veers Away From The Light With ‘Dear Dark’
This is the second release from New Jersey metal project Amoriello and follows the 2018 self-titled debut. The new release is an EP entitled Dear Dark and is full of traditional heavy metal for fans of classic Judas Priest, early Queensryche, King Diamond, Savatage, Helloween, Sanctuary and Crimson Glory, and features vocals by Brazilian metal legend Carlos Zema (Immortal Guardian, ex-Outworld). Other guest appearances of note include current and former members of Megadeth, King Diamond, Yngwie Malmsteen, Impellitteri, Cacophony and more.
“The opening and homonymous Dear Dark is a heavy / prog composition, reminiscent of the Deep Purple era Perfect Strangers, with a basic riff that “nails” in your mind and with the epic vocals of Carlos Zema to match the composition, although somewhere he overdoes it with screams. Excellent work has also been done on the keys. The second composition, This Burning Evil, is more “heavy”, with fewer keys and less prog elements, while the vocals remind me of Dio. Next is the instrumental, Thirty Four Strings of Fury. A “dark” introduction with the change of pace the drums start and the “solos” from the guests and the composition takes off. Fourth part of the experimental is Magic Wand. The dreamy/nightmarish introduction (as you get it) could be found in Argento’s soundtrack. It puts you perfectly in the atmosphere of the song, which from the middle and then brings to King Diamond. Milan’s Dream is essentially the epilogue of EP and is a one-and-a-half-minute acoustic ballad.”

Diabology destroys the polls in December 2020 winning the battle of the bands and becomes band Of The Month for January 2021 with 14,770 total votes!
Diabology are a teenage thrash metal band from Los Angeles, CA. Members Jesse Bergen (guitar and vocals), Jack Kleinman (guitar), Joseph Mazisyuk (bass), and Matthew Morales (drums), met up on the rock school circuit. They were united by a love of metal and a desire to break out of the rock school mold to start working on original material. Defying the many subgenres of metal, they choose to simply call their music thrash, a tribute to the old school sounds of the late eighties, with a young and refreshing voice.
The band began playing many well-attended and prestigious gigs around the Los Angeles area, but things really took a turn when they released their debut LP, 'Nobody Believes Me'. Taking the metal world by storm, the album was featured in countless magazines and received a fair share of radio play but the icing on the cake was when their song "Defiling Innocents" made it to the top of Kerrang's American Excess Spotify playlist.

'Melancholia' is the name of a blue orb which provides magical powers to the protagonist Luna. In the song, Luna sees into her past through the orb and learns what has happened to her. She lives through her longings and loneliness once again."
