WITCHER RELEASE "ÖRÖKLÉT"

PRESS RELEASE:

WITCHER – ӦRӦKLÉT

LABEL: FILOSOFEM RECORDS

RELEASE DATE: NOVEMBER 2025

All that we were may have faded from the concrete streets, choked in smoke, our identity fractured and fragmented by the onslaught of modernity…but far from the boxes that enclose us and the algorithms that dictate our desires and direct our thoughts, beneath the trees, on the mountain tops, in the arms of the undying winds that traversed the world when the old gods walked, in the light of the moon and the dark of the shadows…we are eternal.

WitcheR emerged, as if from the pages of Hungarian folklore, back in 2010 and have since crafted an array of bewitching music, steeped in the history and mythology of their homeland. 2022s Lélekharang was a pivotal moment in the band’s career, lifting WitcheR to a new level creatively and it was followed by the remarkable 2024 EP of classical music adaptations entitled Boszorkányszimfóniák. Now it is time to unveil the next chapter in the tale of WitcheR – Ӧröklét…

“This record is not merely music — it is a gateway. Whoever crosses it will never be the same again. It is a moment of realization, when one understands that everything fades… and yet, everything remains eternal.” – WitcheR

Ӧröklét begins with the rich, haunting keys and powerful, mid-paced riffs of ‘Ӧrökség’ (Heritage) and with its air of majesty, melancholy and reflection, entwined in mystery and moonlight, it seems steeped in the very essence of all that word implies. Listening to WitcheR is like slipping into a dream and that has never been more true than with Ӧröklét. ‘Szélhozó’ (Windbringer) overflows with a spellbinding romanticism and the dual vocals of Gere Karola and Neubauer Roland – rather than dominating the music – slip between its textured layers like dryad spirits between the trees. This is WitcheR at their most beautiful and evocative. ‘Röghöz kötött’ (Soil-bound) and stately title track ‘Ӧröklét’ (Eternity) both move with the measured steps of medieval dances, courtly and chivalric. They draw out vast depths of emotion, in such contrast to the shallowness of modern society. With its weight, value and artistic worth WitcheR create music that stands outside of time. The album concludes with a reworking of Franz Schubert’s ‘Piano Trio No. 2 - Andante con moto’, which shows the gift that WitcheR have for interpreting classical pieces with respect for and understanding of the original music, whilst still transforming these masterful compositions into something entirely WitcheR in character. Something that could be crass in the hands of another band becomes breathtaking through the application of WitcheR’s subtle sorcery. With Ӧröklét, WitcheR have continued down their characterful path of atmospheric dark metal, becoming ever more unique and moving further beyond imitation; a precious and irreplaceable jewel in the world of imaginative, passionate music.

Adorned in the enthralling sepia toned imagery of Balázs Pénzes of Grafit & Hamu Artworks (Korp, Vrag, Siculicidium etc), who also provided the visual elements for Lélekharang and Boszorkányszimfóniák, the digital, cassette and CD versions of Ӧröklét were released by Filosofem Records on November 4th and the vinyl edition will follow, from Beverina Productions, coming late November. Let your eyes close and feel the world slip away as WitcheR lead you down forest paths, past lakes of crystal waters to a place where magic is in the air and reality is all that it is meant to be.

NEMOROUS RELEASE NEW TRACK "QUIESCENCE"

PRESS RELEASE:

New album - What Remains When Hope Has Failed - out November 21 on Bindrune Recordings

Stream "Quiescence" now at https://youtu.be/ct8FHWs6By4?si=pkp_teYku5k3lD_O

The wait for the full-length follow-up to the promising debut EP from England's NEMOROUS is nearly over! Four years after the self-titled, the band has finally returned with a six-track atmospheric black metal experience titled What Remains When Hope Has Failed. Bindrune Records will release the album on CD, vinyl and digital formats on December 19.

Pre-order What Remains When Hope Has Failed at shop.bindrunerecordings.com and bindrunerecordings.bandcamp.com

Tracklist:

1) The Wyrm at World's End

2) This Rotten Bough

3) Sky Avalanche

4) Quiescence

5) Bereft Part 2

6) What Remains When Hope Has Failed

Formed from the ashes of Wodensthrone, NEMOROUS carry the torch of atmospheric English black influenced metal proudly, but it’s not the main driving force behind them. The vision is far more expansive and eclectic. With their debut self-titled EP, they have proven that the twisting melodies and fog-like aura they create with their sound indeed harkens back to their past musical conquests, yet progression is a core tenet as it walks hand in hand with rich melodies and a fierce sense of aggressive tradition.

What Remains When Hope Has Failed is four years in the making and finds the band emerging victorious from a line-up change, where Chris Walsh (Vocals/Guitars) was replaced by Nick Craggs (Vocals - Vacivus/Neolithic) and Rob Hindmarsh on second guitar. Now as sextet, the band dove into the music for their first full-length reinvigorated, and it shows in the album’s composition.

What Remains When Hope Has Failed is a dynamic and emotional journey where quiet musical passages draw the listener in with vulnerability and beautiful, clean guitar arrangements that feel like Fields of the Nephilim at their most post-apocalyptic, only to build with reflective, melancholic mids, before exploding with blasting ferocity. From subtle, yet expansive synth textures, complex drum work that never loses grasp on a powerful feel/swing, it all strengthens the overall impact of this album with colorful dynamics and a songwriting characteristic which can certainly be traced back to the early days of Wodensthrone.

NEMOROUS is:

Phil Heckles - Bass

Ian Finley - Drums

Michael Blenkarn - Guitars

Alexandra Durning - Keyboards

Rob Hindmarsh - Guitars

Nick Craggs - Vocals

MORBONOCT RELEASE NEW SINGLE: "COLD WIND"

PRESS RELEASE:

Morbonoct, as a studio project, started in 2021. The line-up includes Alexander Medvedev, who is responsible for all the instruments. In mid-2023, new vocalist&lyricist David Welnicki joined the project. The main idea of the project was the space theme, which is also reflected in the sound and accompaniment of dense atmospheric canvases in the background. So far, project released four full length albums: "Anmet" (2021), "Chorna bezodnya" (2022), "Galactic Gloom" (2023) and "The Highest Purpose" (2024). Now, it's time for fifth album!

"We would like to introduce you to our new style of cosmic black metal, let the ambience take you over".

Music for new album was recorded, mixed and mastered in Szczecin (Poland) by Alexander Medvediev. Cover artwork was done also by the leader of the project, Alexander. New album titled "No One Knows We’re Dying" will be released digitally on December 12, 2025.

Alexander comments upcoming album: "No One Knows We’re Dying traces the inevitable cycles of life — from the beauty of creation to the weight of existence, and finally, to a cold, inevitable silence. The project embraces raw authenticity, with the mix and master intentionally restrained to preserve the natural texture of the vocals. Minimal post-processing allows every imperfection to speak truthfully, amplifying the emotional resonance of the performance. The instrumental foundation forms a cohesive narrative that evokes deep melancholy and a quiet sense of hopelessness, guiding the listener through a hauntingly introspective experience".

MONACHOPSIS RELEASE ANIMATED LYRIC VIDEO FOR "LETTERS FROM THE DOOMSDAY VAULT"

PRESS RELEASE:

The UK's melodic tech death maestros, Monachopsis, are just a week away from unleashing their latest EP, The Carcass Choir - an incredible outpouring of supremely accomplished death and dexterity. But before The Carcass Choir begin to sing their threnodies from rotted throats Monachopsis have unveiled a new animated lyric video for the EP's second track - 'Letters From The Doomsday Vault'. Monachopsis guitarist Richard Allsopp reveals the inspirations and ideas behind this atmospheric and enthralling track...

"There’s a massive facility on the remote island of Svalbard that preserves seeds from all around the world in gene banks to provide security for the world’s food supply in case of war, disease, natural disaster or apocalyptic hellfire, hence the nickname ‘The Doomsday Vault’.

I find the whole concept of being stashed away from the rest of humanity with the potential to outlive the apocalypse fascinating and eerie. One day the image of a security guard at the facility writing postcards home to his family popped into my head and the lyrics for this track are what came out of that particular venture."

Head to the Monachopsis YouTube channel now and step into the vast, haunted chambers of 'Letters From The Doomsday Vault'!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhTaIchziNA

Accompanied by the arresting artwork of Mohammed Hoirul (Flesh Remains etc) The Carcass Choir will raise thier voices in unending lamentation on November 21st.

NOVOMUNDO RELEASE "THE CURSED CULT"

PRESS RELEASE:

Italian metal fusionists NOVOMUNDO will release their first full-length album, "The Cursed Cult", on March 1st, 2026.

The video of the first single "The Coven" is now available HERE.

NOVOMUNDO was born near Rome around 2012 with the idea to blend heavy and groovy music textures alongside various influences, rhythms, and instruments from all over the world. After some line-up changes over the years, the band rewrote and refined some of their previous material, releasing "Echoes of Ego": four songs focused on mid-paced ferocity and exotic grooves, with themes exploring modern world decay, primeval instincts, and nightmarish visions.

"The Cursed Cult" represents the band’s first full-length effort: a darker and more crushing take on their renewed sound. The album explores Voodoo culture, its symbols and meanings, interpreted through the lens of contemporary life. Fourteen tracks of ferocity and raw energy blend dark ambient passages with a rotten edge, fusing death-groove and 2000s metal influences enriched by modern tones and crust-core elements.

The album is a concept piece centered on Voodoo — its mysteries, rituals, and symbolic icons. Lyrically, it touches on slavery, prejudice, and death as a way to give value to life, among other themes. Across the tracks, listeners are guided through the pantheon of Voodoo deities, called Loa, exploring their stories and traits as metaphors to convey the album’s core messages. The soundscape of NOVOMUNDO evokes emotional instability and a sense of unease, symbolizing the fear stemming from ignorance and unfamiliarity.
