THIS DAY IN 1991: CANNIBAL CORPSE RELEASES "BUTCHERED AT BIRTH"


On July 1st 1991, death metal masters CANNIBAL CORPSE released officially their second album "Butchered at Birth". The album was recorded at the famous Morrisound Studios in Tampa, Florida and was mastered at Future Disc. The first pressing CDs were wrapped in butcher paper that had the band´s logo stamped on it. The lineup that recorded the album was: Chris Barnes on Vocals, Paul Mazurkiewicz on Drums, Alex Webster on Bass, Bob Rusay and Jack Owen on Guitars. This line up also recorded their next album "Tomb of the Mutilated", released in 1992. "Butchered at Birth" features the following tracks: 1. Meat Hook Sodomy; 2. Gutted; 3. Living Dissection; 4. Under the Rotted Flesh; 5. Covered with Sores; 6. Vomit the Soul; 7. Butchered at Birth; 8. Rancid Amputation; 9. Innards Decay
