WATCHMAN RELEASE "DOOM OF BABYLON"

In his 10 years in the music scene Roy Waterford has amassed many accomplishments. In his early days in the hip hop scene he shared stages with such acts as Mac Miller, Freddie Gibbs, and Ghostface Killah. More recently in the jam band scene he played several music festivals and toured the U.S for roughly two years. After departing from touring, he set his sights on Reggae music, writing and recording an album in three months and signing with an independent label in Cyprus. Now Roy has returned to his musical roots: heavy metal. Inspired by iconic bands like Black Sabbath and Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats, Waterford has created the musical persona of Watchman, and it is under this title that he will be releasing his debut album, “Doom of Babylon”.

Watchman is the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist, producer, and audio engineer Roy Waterford. Drawing inspiration from Black Sabbath, Electric Wizard, and Sleep among others, his debut album “Doom of Babylon” is a product of the artists’ bluesy, psychedelic rock influences channeled into eight heavy doom metal tracks. 

While we wait for the full album to be released, three songs have been released as a standalone E.P. called Behold A Pale Horse. Stoned Meadow Of Doom is streaming the E.P. now on their YouTube channel and it can also be purchased on Bandcamp!

In its boundless glorification of destruction and inhumanity, "Topheth" gives orthodox satanism its most arrogant and intransigent voice, weaving an impenetrable fog of artillery-like drum machines, face-taring screams, and walls of deformed fretwork annihilation to trace the ravaging trajectories of complete torment and abandon. The negativity-encompassing album once again assumes a sinister ritualistic and liturgical splendor as well as the iconic theological and biblical delineations that have made this band so recognizable and unique through a marvelous juxtaposition of atmosphere and ferocity, threading a diseased tapestry of inverted sermons and perverse summonings to serve as textural backdrop to its primordial wrath of complete black metal incineration.

It seems to be common for the guys of Burn Down Eden, to release a new album every two years. While lots of bands take a break for creativity after their second release, Burn Down Eden is just beginning.

With their third self-titled album the guys pick up where they left off with their second album „Liberticidal“ and even put a shovel on it again. The band continues to focus on the catchy choruses and melodies, brute, fiddly riffs and modulations, as well as rapid solos and classical elements typical for Burn Down Eden. Nevertheless, all in all the third album seems to be more mature. And yet they also like to leave the genre and play happily with all elements from Black to Prog Metal.

With „Burn Down Eden“ the guys make it crystal clear, that they are THE next big thing in the matter of Melo-Death from Germany. Kernkraftritter Records is convinced, that we will welcome Burn Down Eden to lots of festival stages in the „Post-Corona Times“.

With "A Prepper´s Prophecy" the quintet put salt in the wounds to everybody who was convinced that such a nearly apocalyptic scene like in the year 2020 could possibly happen and who prepared themselves for it. They guys are backbiting conspiracy theorists, tinfoil hats and all the prepper out there. The guys kicking-off their album with literally a big bang!"

GRIMMREAPER RELEASE "NORTH STAR" SINGLE

The third single leading up to the release of Grimmreaper’s debut album “The Tragedy of Being” is upon us; “North Star” comes forward as a cold, calculated, and meticulously crafted and can be heard via its premiere on SpaceUntravel's YouTube channel HERE.

“The Tragedy of Being”, resulted from personal events in Logan Grimm’s life in which he saw his mind being blown to the cosmos, and found that he was drifting. In that drifting, this initial record was created. The drive to carry on against all odd is the theme for the single, as he explains:

“You need to rekindle yourself to move forward in life. Aim toward the highest thing you can conceptualize. You will not get it right the first time, but you must have an aim. You may think of aiming yourself towards a guide in the sky, the north star. But you’re not smart enough to know where the north star is, so you’ll aim for the south because of your ignorance. This is still a good path moving forward because you have decided to move. Your aim will come more into focus as you move.”

It has been a long process to get this solo record ready, and Grimm couldn’t be more excited to finally get it into the ears of metal fans everywhere. The album is a concept album that goes through the default conditions of life, tragedy, and suffering, and the options they present, nihilism and resentment, or transcendence and courage.

“The Tragedy of Being'' is Grimmreaper’s debut album, and the solo project has been described as mixing technical styles like those of Dragonforce and Meshuggah with mainstream styles like Bullet For My Valentine and Five Finger Death Punch. It’s a dark record with many twists and turns, but never boring. The album is a journey through different tastes of metal, and while it’s meant to be enjoyed from start to finish, each song stands strong on its own.

The planetary and abstract album art represents the chaotic nature of the psyche, unknowable. Recommended for fans of Meshuggah, Dragonforce, and Devin Townsend.

The full release of “The Tragedy of Being” is out in March 2021.

The song is a single from the upcoming album. The main theme of the song is one of Shakespeare's most famous quotes "Hell is empty and all the devils are here". The song and the upcoming album form parallels with the already released album “Dzejnieks” ("The Poet").

The main idea of the song is to make us to think about what we have become in less than a year, when even the closest people and friends in the saturated sea of views lose their humanity and are ready to tear each other apart in the name of only acceptable ideas.

This fear, ignorance, intolerance of diversity of opinion is also the poison that poisoned our world and ourselves. Are we, the society that incites hatred, not the ones who create this hell in which we live?

Iron Wings - heavy/thrash metal band from Riga, Latvia, founded at the year 2016. Since then have been sharing the stage with a lot of local support and have shared the stage with a lot of foreign acts from over the world. In the music making process the band is mixing together heavy and thrash metal creating their own unique sound. At the end of 2017 released EP “Tumšie miglāji” (“Dark Nebulae”).
