SUPREME CONCEPTION Unleashes Epic Technical Death Metal with New Single "The Post-Humanist Delusion"

Prepare to be blown away as Supreme Conception, the Prague-based purveyors of technical death metal, unleash their latest sonic masterpiece upon the world. On October 20, 2023, the band released their epic single, "The Post-Humanist Delusion," marking a significant milestone in their musical journey.

Originally conceived in 2006 as a one-time collaboration project, Supreme Conception quickly garnered attention for their own blend of technical brutal death metal, drawing influences from early pioneers such as Decrepit Birth, Suffocation, and Hate Eternal. After the release of the "Liturgy Of Spiritual Disturbance" EP in 2009, the members pursued other musical ventures, notably in the acclaimed band Heaving Earth.

In 2019, the vocalist Michal Kusak and a new guitarist Martin Meyer (Heaving Earth) revived Supreme Conception as a regular band, enlisting the formidable talent of Aaron Stechauner (Interloper, ex Rings of Saturn) on drums to craft new material and embark on a new chapter. The change in lineup ushered in a shift from brutal death metal to a more contemporary version of technical death metal.

Their 2021 EP release, "Empires Of The Mind," marked their triumphant return to the scene, setting the stage for their latest offering, "The Post-Humanist Delusion." Clocking in at almost 12 minutes, this epic single showcases Supreme Conception's evolution and innovation within the genre. Infused with orchestral arrangements and propelled by the technical prowess of an expanded lineup, including bass wizard Tomas Ledvina ( Heaving Earth ) and (studio/session) drumming from Eugene Ryabchenko ( Fleshgod Apocalypse ), "The Post-Humanist Delusion" represents a significant step forward for the band on multiple levels.

With this new standalone single, Supreme Conception sets the stage for their highly anticipated debut full-length release, currently in the works. Fans of bands like Inferi, Archspire, and First Fragment are in for a treat with "The Post-Humanist Delusion," a monumental offering that solidifies Supreme Conception's place at the forefront of the technical death metal scene.

Drymarchon Unleashes Debut Album "Mori In Igne" - A Death/Thrash Masterpiece from Kent, Ohio

Drymarchon, the brainchild of seasoned metal musician Sean (Osi and the Jupiter/ ex Burial Oath), announces the release of their debut album "Mori In Igne." Hailing from Kent, Ohio, Drymarchon emerges as a force to be reckoned with in the death/thrash metal scene, drawing inspiration from bands like Toxic Holocaust, Autopsy, and Celtic Frost.

Sean's journey in metal began in 1998, serving as the frontman for the death metal project Defenestration. After departing from Burial Oath, he embarked on a new musical venture with Drymarchon, channeling his love for death/thrash metal into every aspect of the project.

Named after the largest colubrid snake on the planet, Drymarchon represents the raw power and primal energy inherent in their music. "Mori In Igne," which translates to "Die in a Fire," captures the intensity and aggression of the genre, delivering a relentless onslaught of riffs, guttural vocals, and thunderous rhythms.

With "Mori In Igne," Drymarchon invites listeners to immerse themselves in a sonic inferno, where darkness and chaos reign supreme. Each track is a testament to the band's uncompromising dedication to their craft and their commitment to pushing the boundaries of extreme metal.

"I've always been drawn to the darker side of music, and with Drymarchon, I wanted to create something that channels that primal energy," says Sean. "With 'Mori In Igne,' we aimed to capture the raw intensity of death/thrash metal while infusing it with our own unique vision."

OCEAN OF ANOTHER RELEASE "ONE DAY THIS PAIN WILL SUBSIDE"

PRESS RELEASE:

ARTIST: Ocean Of Another

EP: One Day This Pain Will Subside

EP RELEASE DATE: March 4th 2024

Ocean Of Another is Croatian modern metal/metalcore band founded in early 2022.

The band deals with the harsh realities of being human, focusing mainly on mental health, addiction, and inner struggles. Through their songs Ocean Of Another aims to offer a helping hand and a place to connect and heal, as reflected in their tagline ‘’ Become a drop in the Ocean Of Another’’. Only by sharing our experiences, fears and pains can we begin to heal.

Some members are also part of the Croatian most successful metal band Manntra and bands such as Pale Origins, Zenoth, Ochi and Grapevine Babies. All of them have previous experiences as recording artists with the mentioned bands and others such as Cold Snap and  Monox.

One Day This Pain Will Subside takes listeners on a journey of self-discovery. Lyrically, the songs deal with pain, loneliness and trauma of human condition. The band opens up about their deepest wounds and hurts to connect with the audience, emphasizing that everyone feels pain and that, in that pain, no one is alone.

Ultimately, the band aims to help people connect with and discover their true selves.

In a world where capitalism has put a price on everything, including revolution, the band seeks to show that the final act of rebellion is the act of self-discovery. Knowing oneself prevents others from becoming one's master.

The agenda behind this EP can be summarized in lyrics from Terraform ‘’ reclaim your humanity from the depths of banality/don’t let your fear of death plunge you into apathy’’

Musically, the EP resides in the modern metal/metalcore landscape, drawing inspiration from artists such as Bad Omens, Falling in Reverse, Motionless in White, Northlane, Bring Me The Horizon, and Linkin Park. All the music on this EP was written, produced, mixed, and mastered by the band, except for "Indigo," which was mastered by Joel Wanasek (Machine Head, Monuments, Blessthefall).

The band is actively involved in the creation of their music videos, handling the writing, production, direction, and filming with the assistance of talented friends like Mara Prpic, Dino Mozek,Vjekoslav Palinic and Damir Debanic. Every video is a DIY project under the complete creative control of the band.

So far, the band has released five songs, including an acoustic cover of Slipknot - snuff This cover gained significant attention, accumulating over 500,000 streams on Spotify and over 150,000 views on YouTube Music. Each song is accompanied by a video available on the band's YouTube channel. In December 2022, the band received the Ri Rock award for "Best Newcomer." In March 2024, the band is set to release their first EP titled One Day This Pain Will Subside, featuring five previously unreleased songs.
