Brazilian death metal band Ereboros releases “Progenies of the Unseen”, the latest single from the upcoming album "From Oblivion to the Grave", due out independently on October 30, 2026.

The track further showcases the band's blend of old-school Death Metal aggression with a strong conceptual identity, continuing the direction established on previous releases while strengthening its presence in the Brazilian extreme metal scene.

Dark, intense, and atmospheric, "Progenies of the Unseen" deals with themes of alienation, existential suffering, and the isolation of those who struggle to fit into society. The lyrics follow the so-called "progenies of the unseen" which are individuals trapped in a cycle of pain, loneliness, and fading identity. Through symbolic storytelling, the song reflects on purpose, despair, and the human condition.

DOGTAK may be a new name, but the musicians behind it bring years of experience from previous bands and projects. Formed in 2025, the German five-piece came together around a shared vision of combining aggressive riffs, driving grooves and melodic elements into a modern metal sound built for both the studio and the stage.

The band's debut EP, Shattered Reflection, arrives on August 21st, 2026 and serves as the first official release from the group. Across six tracks, DOGTAK blend death metal and thrash metal influences with a strong sense of groove and melody, creating songs that balance heaviness with atmosphere.

DOGTAK's roots go back to 2024, when guitarist Björn Condon began developing the project as a solo studio endeavour. What started as instrumental compositions gradually evolved into a full band with the arrival of vocalist Alex Ritzenhoff, drummer Gero Samrey, guitarist Sören "Rippy" Schwartau and bassist Basti Doell. Following the release of demo singles and their live debut in February 2026, Shattered Reflection marks the next step in the band's development.

Recorded between March and May 2026, the EP captures a band finding its identity through the combination of different influences and musical backgrounds. The result is a debut release that introduces DOGTAK's sound while laying the foundation for what comes next.
