Canadian brutal death metal band Cryptopsy have just released their new single, entitled "Detritus (The One They Kept). The tune comes from the band´s new EP "The Book of Suffering (Tome 1)" that will be released on October 30th. You can check the new single below:

Punishment 18 Records will re-release the classic album from German technical thras speed masters Despair. The album was the band´s second full length album, originally released in 1990 and the follow up to their debut "History of Hate" released in 1988. Despair was active from 1986 to 1993 and featured famous producer and Grip Inc, Therion and Enemy of the Sun guitarist Waldemar Sorychta in its line-up. Technical death metal band Arkaik
has just released a lyric video for the track "Awaken the I". The
tune comes from the band´s forthcoming full-length "Lucid Dawn" that
will be released on October 30th via Unique Leader Records. "Lucid
Dawn" is the second installment in a series of concept albums revolving
around Cyrix, a disillusioned character in a dystopian society. In Cyrix's
world, dreaming is systematically controlled by a tyrannical ruler named Khaal-Li-Phar
and his army of dark shamans, where people are forced to build monuments to the
tyrant to stifle their imaginations and inhibit their ability to achieve a
multi-dimensional existence. Lucid Dawn is a death metal take on American
mythologist, writer and lecturer, Joseph Campbell's monomyth, and the beginning
