KATTLIK RELEASE NEW SINGLE: "LAMENTATION"

Kattlik is a Death Metal band from Sweden and just released a new single "Lamentation".

"Lamentation" is a song about the withering death of a friend.

During the summer of ‘21 Kattlik hit the studio to record a few songs that will be released as a suite of singles during the winter/spring of 21’-’22 starting with the song "Lamentation".

Kattlik is a powerful death metal band that blends Latin grooves with Swedish melancholy.

Lyrics in Spanish, Swedish or English give their own unique feel to each song, with the common thread of brutal primeval power.

EXODUS RELEASE LYRIC VIDEO FOR "THE YEARS OF DEATH AND DYING"

With a bond forged in youth and decades-old friendship, the undisputed masters of thrash metal return with their eleventh studio album, PERSONA NON GRATA due to be released on November 19th via Nuclear Blast Records. Tom Hunting comments, "'The Years Of Death And Dying' started out as a poem, from the perspective of Death, being a thinking entity, always watching and looking for weakness and opportunity to come calling for people. A Grim Reaper story. We were losing legends: Bowie, Cash, Petty, Prince, Frey…the list goes on and on. Then we started losing family members and friends in our own orbit. Anyway, the title came first, then the poem, which became a song. I shared the lyrics with Gary, who helped inspire me with phrasing to finish it, and the guys loved it. The song is really long, and more legends kept passing right up into the moments Zet was singing it, so I had to keep writing until I had enough to complete the song. We hope you enjoy our tribute to the fallen!"

GRAVE NEXT DOOR RELEASE "SANCTIFIED HEATHEN"

Sanctified Heathen is the debut album from the Michigan stoner metal outfit, GRAVE NEXT DOOR, releasing via Black Doomba Records on January 28.

The band comments:

“Our approach was raw all the way and we achieved that with a very raw 70’s 80’s sound, enabling us to capture our live energy on the record. When we started as a band, we said we would never put anything on an album that we couldn’t do live. The common threads throughout the songs on are of personal struggles, despair, and various aspects of death. The album is set to release in the spring on Black Doomba Records and we greatly look forward to supporting it with a tour.”

Formed back in 2018 by brothers Patrick and Anthony Salerno, and aptly named after the graveyard situated next to their home, GRAVE NEXT DOOR delves into the dark and macabre. Drawing from the iconic sounds of BLACK SABBATH, BLACK FLAG and even CREAM, all blended with the trio’s individual edge. Sanctified Heathen sees the band deliver brutally heavy distortion, doom grooves and powerful vocals. A morbid exploration awaits with lyrical themes of addiction, mortality, war, and their own personal experiences seeping through the album.

SUFFOCATION created the template for the brutal death metal genre in the early 90s. The artwork for "Horizon" will be done by Tronner Graphics, both CD and Vinyl versions will have a different track list. This album will contain a new version of the first song that was composed for BP "Supreme Vampire" recorded again 21 years later. Horizon has been recorded, mixed and mastered at Kollapse Studios by Iván Ferro during the winter of 2020/2021
