DOMINANCE RELEASE "SLAUGHTER OF HUMAN OFFERINGS IN THE NEW AGE OF PAN"

DOMINANCE was created by Impaler (bass/vocals), Witchfucker (drums) and Hellcult (guitar) in 2019 out of the ashes of the established RAPED CHRIST and the lesser known MÖRTALIST. After four years marked with local gigs and the self-produced „Sodomize with Steel” demo tape, the monstrous „Slaughter of Human Offerings in the New Age of Pan” debut album was unleashed by Polish label PUTRID CULT and the holocaust continues. 

Music for this release was recorded in late May/early June 2023 in Santa Studio (Warsaw, PL) by Haldor Grunberg (Behemoth, Dopelord, Witchmaster)  who also did mix & master at Satanic Audio. Album was released August 25, 2023 on digital format and physical CD (webstore). Cover art & layout was done by Witchfucker.

Commentary about album: "By way of shamanic interfusion, „Slaughter of Human Offerings in the New Age of Pan” opens the gate to a Jungian dimension in the Howardian landscape of the demo tape. Short and to the point, as it represents not strife but the final and well-prepared act of titular abolishment of outer obstacles in the path to inner harmony."

WIZARDS OF WIZNAN is composed of five musicians who have played in various bands of the Valais metal and rock scene in Switzerland. Together, they offer you a set that is both nervous and soaring, alternating atmospheric atmospheres and heavier riffs. Some clear voices give way to an aggressive guttural vocal, supported by strong rhythms and a very efficient bass-drums combo.

It is in 2019 that Wizards of Wiznan emerges from Vegenand, a vanished locality once decimated by the black plague. After a first EP with Stonerdoom influences entitled "Experimental Brew" signed to MTAF Records and several remarkable concerts, Wizards of Wiznan found its new direction with the recording of a first album in 2022 and the admission of a new member.

Behind thick walls of distortion and powerful, cavernous guttural vocals, the band now offers heavy music that wants to reach the heart and soul. Mixing their numerous sludge, doom and black influences, the musicians propose a sound that is brutal and intense, carefully handling the brutality of the riffs and the softness of the atmospheric melodies. Through a dark and misanthropic exploration of the human condition, Wizards of Wiznan's themes are essentially about loss, illness and death, and draw their inspiration from their home region.

MALFORMED RELEASE "THE GATHERING OF SOULS"

Helsinki-based death metal unit MALFORMED has signed a pact with Extremely Rotten Productions for the release of The Gathering of Souls. The EP, which comes less than a year after the self-released demo, Uncontrollable Malformity, bears the markings of a band versed beyond their years in the art of technical death metal.

Look for The Gathering of Souls to be released on vinyl, CD, cassette, and digital formats on October 13.

MALFORMED is a young, relentless death metal band reigning from Helsinki, Finland. The band incarnated in 2022, as its debut demo Uncontrollable Malformity crawled out of the sewers alongside positive reviews and some underground hype. However, things are only getting started with the release of EP The Gathering of Souls which showcases even more intensity, brutality, and technicality through our recently solidified lineup.

MALFORMED began its journey through the hands of guitarist/vocalist Eetu Hyvönen and bassist Pauli Niemi, who were joined by guitarist Akseli Lindroos and drummer Jani Seppi in late 2022. As the demo was completed before Jani's addition to the lineup, The Gathering of Souls is the first release to feature the full MALFORMED lineup. These five fierce and hellish tracks were completed during the winter of 2022-2023, and recordings commenced during the spring with Juuso Hämäläinen (Azatoth, Disguised Malignance) handling all production. 

The tracks, which were both arranged and recorded at the band's barren rehearsal place in Espoo, combine the technicality and brutality of bands like early Cryptopsy, Suffocation, Gorguts, and Demilich - without sacrificing the originality and inclusion of our own MALFORMED sound.

TIDES OF CHAOS RELEASE NEW SINGLE "SCREAMS"

The Norwegian melodic blackened death metal band Tides of Chaos released their second single on June 30th. Fans of intense vocals, spellbinding riffs, powerful drums, progressive and symphonic elements, are in for a treat.

Founded in 2021 by guitarist and vocalist Henry Lemoin, who has a passion for extreme metal, Tides of Chaos aims to take the listener on an epic and intense journey, with a lot of variety and dynamic range in their compositions.

The new single, titled "Screams", showcases the band's catchy melodies and aggressive energy . The creative drumming provides a driving beat that will have listeners headbanging from start to finish.

Tides of Chaos is per now a one man project with session musicians such as, Rich Gray - Bass (Annihilator/Aeon Zen), Naman Sachdev on drums, and Matthew Dakoutros on violin, viola and cello.

In 2013, SPILLAGE was born from a vision of guitarist Tony Spillman. Initially conceived as a musical "project", SPILLAGE developed into a solid riff-rock band, with its roots firmly planted in hard-rock, blues, jazz and other musical influences inherent in its members. SPILLAGE band members have known each other for the most part, since childhood playing in various bands in the Chicago suburbs for nearly 40 years. Tony Spillman had been touring with Earthen Grave for 5 years when Earthen Grave disbanded in 2013. Tony decided to fully focus on bringing his vision to life, creating SPILLAGE with drummer Chris Martins in April 2013. Drawing from songs written by Tony in his younger days, SPILLAGE released their debut album "Spillage" featuring Lothar Keller ( The Skull, Sacred Dawn ) on vocals, Nick Bozidarevic on guitar, Willie Max ( Mudfish ) on bass and featured guest musician Bruce Franklin (Trouble) on guitar and backing vocals on several tracks on the 2015 release. Paul Rau played keyboards on the album but did not tour with the band at that time.

Lothar and Willie left SPILLAGE in 2015 to pursue other musical projects, and Billy McGuffey who was friends with several band members, joined on bass. SPILLAGE was scheduled to play the Maryland Doomfest in 2016, and through connected circles, Tony offered Elvin Rodriguez (a singer from the Philadelphia area) an opportunity to learn their songs and audition for the band. Elvin basically had his audition during the Doomfest, quickly learning their songs prior to taking the stage, and effortlessly performed to a thrilled audience! Needless to say, Elvin became the new singer for SPILLAGE and the band lineup remains unchanged. In January 2019, SPILLAGE released their 2nd album, "Blood of Angels", which was well-received worldwide.

As the world faced the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020, SPILLAGE continued to forge ahead writing epic new songs for their 3rd album "Electric Exorcist" which showcased a more mature, developed, and collaborative songwriting process while continuing to develop their evolving SPILLAGE style. Despite their plans to tour in Europe being cancelled due to travel restrictions during the pandemic, SPILLAGE successfully released Electric Exorcist in late October 2021 and they hit the ground running, bringing their fun and energetic performances to fans locally at the end of 2021 and made appearances in several US festivals and shows during the summer of 2022. SPILLAGE recorded their performance during RIFF FEST in July 2022, and their new SPILLAGE Live! Digipak became available March 31, 2023 to appease fans until their 4th album is scheduled to be released on September 8, 2023 (CD/Digital formats, Vinyl in Nov 2023) in celebration of ten years of SPILLAGE!

Finnish noisemongers GOATBURNER will release their new album “Fatal” on October 6th 2023 via Time To Kill Records.

"'Blender Bender' is one of the longer songs on the album. Riffs and structure was written during one night at Kaos's home studio and the final form got together quickly as well during the next rehearsals. Lyrics are following the album concept, this one focusing on a fatal accident while using a blender."

GOATBURNER, formed in 2017 and featuring Keijo Niinimaa (ROTTEN SOUND, MORBID EVILS, AGE OF WOE) and Jaakko Forsman (RATFACE, SKULMAGOT), create a caustic atmosphere somewhere between massive sludge and frantic high-speed thrashing.

"Fatal" was written in between 2019 and 2022, slowly and steadily and mostly at the rehearsal sessions. The album was recorded and mixed by Kaos at Chaotic Doom Cave studios from May 2022 to November 2022 and mastered by Scott Hull at Visceral Sound Studios in early 2023.

GOATBURNER is mostly inspired by their own music (also written for the other groups the members are or have been in) over the years, but sources of inspiration can ben found in the old school death metal scene and bands like Autopsy, Bolt Thrower, Entombed, Carcass, Cannibal Corpse and Demigod.
