Vaciø present their debut EP, Et Destituta Mortis, which arrived on June 21st via Morbid Shrine Productions on CD and digital formats.

Emerged in 2019 under the command of A.84 (guitars, bass) and L.77 (vocals, lyrics), Vaciø embody their own vision of black metal. The mysterious duo manifest their path of occultism through misanthropy and esotericism-guided lyrics. Although a newborn entity, Vaciø involve forces having decades of involvement in the spheres of occult and extreme music.  

On the debut EP, Et Destituta Mortis, Vaciø did not only turn back the clock, but they also brandished the glorious past with integrity, devotion, mysticism, and pure artistry. The EP features D.M. of Gaerea as the session drummer.

Recorded, mixed and mastered by A.84 in the summer of 2020.

NAITAKA RELEASE "NAITAKA" EP

Irrupting from of Kelowna, BC in 2019, Naitaka brings you a fresh blend of Thrash Metal with a twist of Power and Melo-death. 

Lead vocalist Cara McCutchen (Mortillery, ex-Minax), originally from Edmonton AB, joined forces with guitarist Troy Melnyk (Worship or Sin, Sacrilege), also from Edmonton AB, drummer Tyler Dake from Kelowna BC, bassist John Shippit from Kelowna BC and guitarist Cody Lonsdale to slay the Okanagan Valley. 

Sadly, John Shippit had to step away due to a heavy school workload. 

In May 2020, they started recording their first self titled 4-song EP.

In early September 2020 they parted ways with guitarist Cody Lonsdale and are still on the hunt for a second lead guitar player. 

In mid-October 2020, John Shippit found his way back to the band.

February 2021 the EP was finally released on CD and digitally.

“We’ve been trying not to be labeled just another Bay Area thrash band” says vocalist Sid Frankosky. So in this song we tried to be less thrashy, apparently we could not hide our roots – he smiles.

ARSENIC ADDICTION RELEASE VIDEO FOR "MOON & SUN"

Utah’s Arsenic Addiction has a new music video “Moon & Sun” to unveil, which comes from their 2019 album “XIX”. As their third album, it shows a grown-up version of the band that has moved away from the theatrical Victorian theme they first embraced as a group. It is the longest they have spent writing and recording as they decided to focus on quality rather than just getting something out. This precision and attention to detail carries forward in the cinematic video for “Moon & Sun”.

According to the band, this single has been their biggest challenge to date as they set out to tell a tale that some of us know all too well. The band explains further:

“Star-crossed lovers, twin flames, but in their most tumultuous form. Everything was shot in the studio, which is something we’ve never done before. We had to create everything ourselves from the sets to the props, lighting, make-up, costumes, and supporting creations from some talented artists we admire. All of our videos have been ‘DIY’, but this time we didn’t have the beauty and awe of nature to rely on to help tell the story. An ancient archetype occurring in mythos throughout eternity, across the earth, from the stars above to the underworld below.  This is merely our story of ‘Moon & Sun’”.

5 years of hard work, late nights, band lineup changes, and dedication have cumulated into “XIX” and the listener should feel as though they are experiencing a journey of another’s love, sadness, anger, and pain. It’s laid out to feel as though you have walked in on the solitary practice of a witch, her life, her experiences, her secrets, her black rites. 

“Moon & Sun” was filmed and directed by Brian Medeiros, and features costume pieces by Tuahadedana Germany, Hysteria Machine UK and Aconite Creations UK.

"We visited Freudian psychoanalysis and using the Byronesian poetics, to raise questions about where the postmodern man fits, of its complexes and traumas, the resignification of life, of affective relationships. In this media world where everything is a product and mental spaces are getting smaller, we want to face the abyss and contemplate the void that plagues our soul to find our meaning and transform it into art ”, explains the band.

In August 2020, Brazilian guitarist Henrique De Fina and Brazilian vocalist Vic Ferreira joined forces to create Hranice Abyss, a modern and artistic project, which believes that it is possible to produce a lot, with quality and with little resources. The band gains notoriety for being DIY (Do It Yourself), producing, directing and recording all their material, from the videos to the EP. From the beginning, the idea was to do everything and be in control to present a quality and professional project.

"Flawless Oblivion" is the band's second single, which anticipates their first EP of their career, with an exclusive debut on the Metal Injection website. "Violation Of Human Condition" is the single that marked the band's debut in the music market, with debuts on the SLAM WORLDWIDE channel.
