FULCI RELEASE COLLABORATION WITH ELECTRONIC BAND TALPAH: "CYBERFLESH"

Time To Kill Records together with the publishing house Hollow Press, specialized in publications "Dark Weird Fantasy" join forces to give birth to a collaboration for the release of the cyber game "Cyberflesh" where extreme music, horror comics and "dark Weird" experience merge.

Created by Simone Alberto Grifone (game designer), David Genchi (drawings) and Marco Taddei (texts), and published by Hollow Press with soundtrack of the masters of Italian death Fulci and the hypnotic sounds of Talpah.

This collaboration was born as a soundtrack for "Cyber Flesh", a comic that mixes elements of cyberpunk, science fiction and horror. Through the music of Talpah and the Fulci, the comic comes to life in a symphony of distorted sounds and horror visions, taking the listener on a sensory journey through the dark depths of the human mind and beyond.

Fulci says:

"When TTK and Hollow Press asked the Fulci to collaborate on creating a soundtrack for the game "Cyberflesh," we immediately accepted. "Cyberflesh" is a very splatter and violent comic. Moreover, the project had many similarities with the historic collaboration between Games Workshop, Earache, and Bolt Thrower for the release of the album "Realm of Chaos" in 1989.

The title "Cyberflesh" inspired us to create a soundtrack capable of blending human sounds (instrumentals) with cyber sounds (electronic). To compose the two tracks, we involved our friend and artist Talpah, whose sound design managed to amplify both the sonic violence and the eerie atmospheric parts of the tracks.

Even the choice of audio media was not random. We chose to release the tracks on super limited floppy disks and CDs with graphics similar to CD-ROMs. These media, along with a dedicated comic book illustrated by Genchi, will be included in an ultra-exclusive long box. Thanks to Time To Kill and Hollow Press for making all of this possible".

From the Canadian catacombs sprawls a new entity. Lurking in the darkest corners, Decryptal may contain seasoned veterans of the underground (including Sedimentum), but is itself a brand new band. Much like the cover art might suggest, they play a foreboding and eerie style of Death Metal that will choke you on your own feelings of dread while there are elements of the grotesque that seep into your skin just as effectively. This cacophonous blend is chunky, putrid and yet has substance in the form of a real eldritch atmosphere that lingers in the air. A deformed array of mangled riffing and spasming drums and warped bass lines will hook themselves into your cerebellum while maliciously evil vocals rip through with just as much potency. All together this crypt stench is almost too thick to traverse as a mere mortal…

If like many, you seek truly malignant music that has grooves, hooks and memorability but also a truly putrescent and dastardly feeling to it, then Decryptal is essential listening. Like a combination of all of our favourite Death Metal ideals without feeling contrived, these Canadian brutes deliver a pungent debut offering that is an immediate statement of intent to all things morbid, ectoplasmic and gruesome. Like a Lovecraftian horror that emits radiant cosmic chaos upon a sepulchral realm of decay, there is no running away from the ever-growing shadow cast by the towering ‘Sabazios Culte’. Fester in the crypts of horror as you witness a demo unfurl which is to become a favoured gem of the underground.

The label says: "All tapes have been dubbed at home from the original master sent by the artist. Not digitally altered, everything has been left faithful to the original demo as I got it: mistakes, noisty parts, etc. In detail, on the second track "Time to Die" (basically an intro/guitar solo) there's a blackout of 10 seconds. I could have easily take it out but, in accord with the artist, we decided to mantain the recordings in their original form".
