Georg Wilfinger comments on the new album single : "The title track “Washington State Charm” is where things really lock in. Joe wrote this one — same genius behind all of “Unterweger” — and he’s been shaping most of our upcoming new record alongside our drummer Simon. The two of them have been studying jazz together over here at a music conservatory in Austria, and you can hear that push and pull all over this track. It’s technical, but never just for the sake of it — everything still hits with groove, weight, and intent through all the brutality.

 

And the track's story behind it is just as heavy: July 14th, 1974 — Lake Sammamish State Park: Thousands of people out in the sun, families hanging out, swimming, just a normal summer day where nothing’s supposed to go wrong.

But right there, in broad daylight, Ted Bundy used nothing but charm and manipulation to abduct two women — Janice Ott and Denise Naslund. That contrast and false sense of safety, that’s the core of this song.""

Originally founded as a solo project by singer Georg Wilfinger (ex-Miasma) in 2010 in Austria, MONUMENT OF MISANTHROPY has released three studio albums, an EP and a demo up to now. Previous full-length album "Vile Postmortem Irrumatio" was released in August 2024 and drew roaring reviews worldwide.

Those relentless purveyors of auditory violence and “Mindhunters” of brutal Death Metal — have crawled back out of the basement with a brand-new full-length slab of extremity entitled 'Washington State Charm’ .

The new opus is a wholesome little concept album chronicling the coming-of-age story of a serial killer: the awkward upbringing, the early extracurricular activities, and the grand finale on the electric chair, America’s probably most prolific serial killer , Ted Bundy.

Having left the brutal death metal scene battered and broken with their 2024 debut album, Reek Of Putrefaction On Excruciating Lust, Indonesian duo Vertiginous have returned with a sickening second serving of mind warping malice – Incessant Affliction! Ten new tracks delivered with a breathless intensity, each one a fresh wave of dread and terror, another injection of adrenaline straight into the chambers of the heart. Today marks the official unveiling of Denigration, the new full-length from UK technical death metal juggernauts INGESTED, out now on Metal Blade Records! To celebrate the release, the band presents a lyric video for “Oaths Betrayed.”

The band comments, “‘Oaths Betrayed’ takes the language of faith, war, and destiny and turns it against the systems that abuse those ideas. The lyrics are about promises written in blood and enforced with steel; oaths that were supposed to protect but ended up binding people to suffering. It’s a world where idols are pissed on, scriptures are burned, and yet people still march ‘through ruins to claim what’s mine’ because truth is the only thing left worth carrying. It’s the sound of realizing that the divine has abandoned you, and deciding you’ll carve your own laws into bone.

“This song almost didn’t make the cut, and now it’s one of the tracks we reach for first. Musically, it hits that high-tempo, groove-driven, 2010s-era death metal energy, spiked with breakdowns that feel like the floor cracking open. It’s urgent, almost martial at times, with riffs that march more than they sprint. Lyn’s lyrical contribution here adds a different edge, more confrontational, more fixated on personal agency in the middle of collapse. ‘Oaths Betrayed’ feels like a rallying cry in the second half of the record.”

The wasted remains of civilisation, of mankind’s dreams and ambitions, lie mouldering beneath a cold sludge of ash and decay. New forms of warped, suppurating life squirm in entangled, mindless masses; nothing but pustulent worms driven by hunger, aggression and lust. Evolution has stumbled and fallen, never to rise again. The future is the present – this diseased sea of parasitic consumption and death…the repugnant remnants of life’s atrophy.

Twelve years on from their initial spawning in Texas’ ever-fertile breeding grounds of brutality, Horrific Visions are finally set to unleash their full-length debut album of shocking violence and colossal carnage. After two decimating EPs - Enlightenment Through Excruciating Torture (2022) and Monopoly On Violence (2024) - the time has come to stare into the dead eyes of Remnants Of Atrophy!

The album opens with the disorientating, spinning riffs of ‘Malnutrition’, inspiring visions of skin stretched across protruding bone to the point of tearing. Fired by depravation and desperation this track collapses into nerve-grating sounds, before reforming into a shape of pure evil; a huge riff of monstrous heaviness, inhuman vehemence and bone grinding malice. From this point there is no way back. Through the terrifying focus and precision of ‘Deranged Perversion’ to the aptly entitled and utterly barbaric ‘Primal Regression’, on to the reanimated, unhinged and unstoppable ‘Enlightenment Through Excruciating Torture’…God alone knows what clarity of vision awaits anyone subjected to this process of torment and rabid dismemberment…with the final, deftly executed process of extermination being applied by the album’s title track – ‘Remnants Of Atrophy’ – a sonic atrocity invoked by hellish vocals, a rhythm section as tight as a torniquet and guitars conjuring riffs like vengeful djinn. This debut album from Horrific Visions is a gift to the demented and the black of heart – one that has been well worth the wait.

Mixed and mastered by guitarist Mason Vickers at Rocker House Studios, Remnants Of Atrophy possesses a blistering intensity and a raw, serrated edge; it sounds like a deadly weapon, wielded with vicious intent. These are bands we’ve respected for years and artists who helped shape our appreciation for brutal death metal and pushed the genre to the extremes we admire. Sharing the stage alongside the best in the genre isn’t just a milestone for us, it’s a statement. It feels surreal but it's a reminder of how far VULNIFICUS has come and of the work that’s brought us here.

Taking our music to Canada and the East Coast for the first time is another goal we hoped to achieve. New cities, new faces and new rooms to explore. We don’t take any of it for granted.

We hope this run is the first of many through these territories and we’re looking forward to meeting everyone who comes out to be part of it. We're coming with everything we have to offer and we hope this is only the beginning. We'll see you in May.”

The grotesque theatre of Emanation Of The Dying Perceptions opens with ‘Beyond The Pleasure Principle’, gradually submerging its victims into a world of terror before the razor-edged atmosphere gives way to snarling guitars underpinned by a thuggish bass. Brutalizing vocals bring an aura of warped sickness to the methodical process of dismemberment and there’s a seething morass of vicious unpleasantness boiling beneath the slow-motion bludgeoning. From here there is no escape, no let up in the degradation and destruction – this album is chilling in its soulless inhumanity. The songs switch from the murderous heat of tracks like ‘Born In Grave Wax’, a lumbering tribal dance of destruction, with the bass sounding as if the strings must be hanging from the instrument like loosely draped entrails, to cold, fear-infused nightmares like ‘Confessions Of A Dead Poet’, making for a disorientating melange of horror. The riffs are thick and suffocating, like wading through offal and the band deliver wound after wound, ghastly, shocking injuries. Listening to Emanation Of The Dying Perceptions is a mind warping experience that will take you from shock and disgust, through fear and madness to total desensitisation…and finally to a lust for depravity. Final track and first advance single, ‘Slaughter To The Bones’, is perhaps Necromonger’s greatest work on this, their first release. Its monstrous guitars and hellish vocals seem to be accompanied by a sense of sinister revelation, as if the meaning behind all the preceding savagery and slaughter is laid bare in this insidious, creeping conclusion.

Emanation Of The Dying Perceptions will be prised from its coffin by Xtreem Music on July 19th and released on CD, 12” LP, cassette and digital formats. The CD will feature the bonus track, ‘Necromonger’ – an epic instrumental combining atmosphere and brutality in a wildly effective, bilious cocktail – while the cassette will feature the additional delights of ‘Necrocannibal Pollution’, a feast of molten riffs that makes a more than fitting addition to the album’s core of carnage. Formed in Quebec City, OxE began as a solo project by guitarist Alice Simard, who sought to explore heavier, more grotesque sonic territory. After recruiting vocalist Jesse Agiomamitis in 2019 and later joining forces with German musician Popu, the project evolved into a fully collaborative, internationally connected force.

"Fugue Gnawed from the Scabbed God Cerebrum" is OxE’s most ambitious and punishing work to date, a labyrinth of warped synths, alien textures, and meticulously crafted brutality. Musically, the album pushes the band deeper into experimental territory, drawing inspiration from releases such as Nithing’s "Agonal Hymns" and Dripping’s "Disintegration of Thought Patterns During A Synthetic Mind Traveling Bliss."

“The LP is definitely the most experimental OxE release so far. Between the carnage of the main instrumentals are layers of synths and organic instrumentation that have been sonically destroyed to give everything an alien feel,” says Popu.

Lyrically, the album follows a cryptic conceptual arc centered around a mythic “godslayer” figure, an entity on a cosmic, God-of-War-esque rampage through the universe. The narrative mirrors the album’s emotional core: cold, calculated violence intertwined with themes of mental illness, mythological annihilation, and existential dread.

For the album's artwork, the band once again collaborated with acclaimed artist Mei Maro, whose surreal, folklore-infused style visually captures the album’s fusion of myth, brutality, and psychological distortion.

“We wanted something that represented all of our combined influences. Mei always delivers something incredible, and this piece ties together everything we explored on the record,” adds the band.

The album’s eleven songs carve out a relentless and disorienting sonic journey. It opens with “Conquering Divinity,” a chaotic, myth-laden assault designed to immediately destabilize the listener. “Gutted & Corpsed” delivers ferocious blasting, inhuman vocal textures, and a plunge into an underworld-like atmosphere. “Heaven’s Empty Halls” shifts into eerie, dungeon-synth-infused territory, setting the stage for the album’s final descent. The closer, “Forged in the Blackest Reaches of Blasphemy,” ties the record together with a melodic yet brutal homage to the band’s key influences. Across the journey, from the twisted melodicism of “Apotheotic Apotemnophilia” to the crushing weight of “Entombed Within the Infinite Panopticon,” the album balances experimentation with the visceral heaviness fans expect.

"With this album, we’ve done what we’ve always done, simply better. We don’t want to stray too far from our original DNA, from what makes the band who we are, but there’s always going to be progression in some direction. This record marks our longest gap between releases, which isn’t something we had in mind, but great art can’t be rushed out the door, and while it may have taken some time to materialize, I’m certain that this record will be everything fans have wanted and then some, because it certainly was for us. Each album is a learning process, and I feel as though these new tracks we’ve got, more than anything else we’ve made, have taught us invaluable lessons about who we are as people, and just how much we love music and the creative process," says vocalist Jesse.

CORDYCEPS CORPSE RE-RELEASE "FROM FLESH TO FLUIDS"

Gore House Productions proudly announces the signing of one-person slam/goregrind juggernaut Cordyceps Corpse, the twisted brainchild of multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Nani. The label will reissue the band’s latest full-length album, "From Flesh to Fluids," on CD and cassette later this year, with the digital release available now across all major platforms.

"After following Cordyceps Corpse (Cordy) on social media for several months, I am excited to welcome the project to our roster. Seeing Nani creatively market Cordy while composing filthy, slamming death metal, there was no question but to partner up with Cordy. Her debut album, “From Flesh to Fluids,” quickly became a favorite; I’m beyond stoked to give it a proper release," comments Gore House Productions label founder Carlos Matt.

To mark the occasion, Cordyceps Corpse has dropped a new music video for the title track, “From Flesh to Fluids,” a chaotic, anti-authoritarian blast of guttural vocals, slamming riffs, and visceral imagery that sets the tone for the album’s grotesque journey.

"From Flesh to Fluids" is a sonic descent into madness, equal parts brutal, disgusting, and morbid. Inspired by slam legends like Devourment and Cephalotripsy, the album delivers a raw yet polished evolution of Cordyceps Corpse’s sound, now featuring live drums and tighter production while retaining the DIY filth fans crave.

Fans will blast earwrenching tracks like “Battery Acid Enema”, a vile, tongue-in-cheek collaboration with Nani’s partner Liv, “Stomach Bile For Miles” is a grotesque narrative of cannibalistic carnage, “Family Photo With Hella Cadavers” (feat. WORMFUCKER) is a dehumanizing snapshot of horror, and “Tools For Torture” is a slow-building frenzy inspired by Terrifier.

Nani, who writes, records, and performs every element of Cordyceps Corpse, describes the album as “pure chaos into heavy slam riffs.” Drawing inspiration from horror films, documentaries, and even neighborhood trash disasters, the music is driven by feeling rather than formula.

“I want this album to give the same feeling I got when I first heard Molesting the Decapitated by Devourment. Thick and brutal sound that just keeps hitting," says Nani.

Cordyceps Corpse began in late 2023 as a solo rebellion against the monotony of beat-making.

“I was bored with making music for other people. I wanted to form a band, but didn’t want to wait around. So I said, ‘f*** it, I’ll do it myself,” adds Nani.

That DIY ethos extends to everything, from the music to the logo, which Nani designed on a refurbished iPad after watching YouTube tutorials.

With live shows described as chaotic parties, complete with crowd participation and impromptu mic screams, Cordyceps Corpse is poised to carve a unique space in the underground metal scene. And with Gore House Productions backing the reissue, the band’s reach is about to get a whole lot bloodier.

In the quietude beneath the city streets, the silence broken only by the slow dripping of polluted water and the chittering voices of the rats, in this forgotten place of filth and stench, they find a strange kind of peace. The screaming is over, the torment is complete, there is only endless sleep for these abused and broken bodies. And if the rats take sustenance from their bruised and lacerated flesh it is a gift they give without resentment. Embracing each other, entwined in cold comfort, they lie forever entombed in sewage…

Twenty five years since their tale of terror began and far too long a time since the release of their last album back in 2006, the demigods of death, legends of the underworld, Lust Of Decay have returned! They carry with them, in their bloodstained, disease riddled hands something bleak and soul destroying, ten new commandments of depravity and tragedy, new incitements to violence and degradation – their long, long awaited fourth full length album – Entombed in Sewage. From the first shocking moments of opening track, ‘Parasitic Exsanguination’, twisted riffs ensnare you and vocals from the other side of death engulf you. Drums deliver absolute oblivion and though the tempos shift the impact is never less than decimating. You can feel the knowledge, experience and dedication to the pursuit of brutality and extremity in every dextrous and deadly note. Featuring current and ex members of Atrocious Abnormality, Cesspool of Vermin, Coathanger Abortion and Shuriken Cadaveric Entwinement in their ranks, Lust Of Decay know more than a thing or two about the desolate arts of death. There are so many great riffs throughout this album and the drumming is simply phenomenal, not just driving the songs forward but playing a vital role in their dynamics and development. While the brutality is unquestionably unrelenting, there is so much going on in songs like the feast of rot and horror that is first single ‘Nourishing The Swine’. The song writing that has created ‘Fetal Contamination Process’ is several steps above most of Lust Of Decay’s genre contemporaries in its fascinating complexity. Every song is a definitive example of brutal death metal at its musically proficient, wickedly imaginative and shocking best – and the three final songs, ‘Order 66’, ‘Desiccate The Epithelium’ and title track ‘Entombed In Sewage’ are simply incredible; a triptych of awesome atmosphere, magnificent destruction and nightmares brought to life. Entombed In Sewage will be gate crashing the end of year lists for the best that brutal death has offered up in 2025.

Mixed and mastered by Tony Tipton (Between The Killings, Necrotic Disgorgement, Reap etc) Entombed In Sewage has a surprisingly bright and vibrant sound that brings every element, every weapon in the Lust Of Decay armoury into play, to tremendous effect. Ten years since their last full length album, Fragments, Dysentery have finally re-emerged into the light, carrying with them a new album of heaviness beyond comprehension; spine-splitting slams and deep grooves like scars in the surface of the Earth. Dejection Chrysalis is the fourth album to bear the Dysentery name and if it takes a decade to carve out a bludgeoning monstrosity like this, then so be it. Instrumental opener, ‘Transference’, is so much more than a simple intro. As its title infers, it is a crossing point from normality to the world of Dysentery, a passage of mutation, configuring your mind and body for the shocking impact to come. And as the album progresses you realise just what Dysentery have achieved with Dejection Chrysalis, why it was worth waiting every moment of those ten years for. They make this music their own; with an aura of power, of untouchable force and presence. This is how you deliver brutal, slam death metal and make it meaningful and beyond devastating. From the electrifying barrage of ‘Fratricidium’ to the elite level brutality of ‘Ascend This Harrowing Dream’ there are so many great touches from the guitars, the drums, the vocals that just lift Dysentery to a level above the surrounding pack.
