Good ol’ Swedish chainsaw division HOUSE BY THE CEMETARY unleashes the supergroup’s debut offering with “Rise Of The Rotten”!

Paying homage to the Fulci-directed cult horror film and comprising of Sweden’s busiest Death Metal overlord Rogga Johansson (ex-Bone Gnawer, ex-Demiurg, Paganizer, etc), Monstrosity frontman Mike Hrubovcak and Paganizer drummer Matthias Fiebig, “Rise Of The Rotten” is simply no more, no less; just the perfect brew of 90’s era HM-2 decapitation riffs rupturing throughout the entire album. This is bare-bones, essential Swedish Death that has proven to be timeless.

Recorded in different studio locations, mixed and mastered by Ronnie Björnström at EAP Productions (Bodyfarm, Bone Gnawer, Cut Up, etc) and morbific artwork by Malaysian illustrator Iron Gravefix (Thorns Of Hate, Abigail, Bone Gnawer, etc).

We present you the new Nattverd album.

A more dynamic album than our last, due to that we have challenged the core that is Nattverd, while staying true to the spirit that is the band. We have pushed some boundaries, which has resulted in more diverse tracks, that touches a

lot on melancholy, even more aggression, and epic moments.

Vandring is actually the end of the 1349, Black Death Trilogy.

We started with the EP Skuggen, Part.II was Styggdom, and this is the last part of it.

We have now finished this trilogy, with our most aggressive,melancholic, epic end to the story.

CMPT is an anonymous black metal formation rooted in haunted cults and dark folklore coming from the bloody Balkan soil. The word itself (SMRT in Latin) represents a Cyrillic transcription translated purely as "Death" in all the languages of the Balkan tribes and is with certain variations understandable in the rest of the Slavic world.

Found on a specific cross between the old indigenous elements and the ancient Slavic folklore, CMPT is a dedication to the authentic Balkan worship of Death, a monument of praise for the unclean ones, nocturnal rites and forbidden cults that have cursed these lands centuries before the first Byzantine missions arrived.

Coming from pre-Christian times, the cult of Death has withstood all the temptations of the time and has been to this day successfully preserved in the local culture of the Balkan peoples, where it is still being practiced on a conscious or subconscious level. Now as a first monument to this primordial cult, CMPT is ready to put "Mrtvaja" EP out and make the theme of Death more relevant than ever!
