RINGARË STREAM NEW ALBUM "THRALL OF WINTER´S MAJESTY"

PRESS RELEASE:

Today, the enigmatic  Ringarë  stream the entirety of their special full-length recording,  Thrall of Winter's Majesty , at   the Black Metal Promotion YouTube channel . Set for international release on April 21st via   Amor Fati Productions  on CD format, hear   Ringarë 's  Thrall of Winter's Majesty  in its entirety exclusively   HERE .

Ringarë  returns with four tracks of winter-worshipping meditative ambient and black metal, titled  Thrall of Winter's Majesty . Originally written in early 2004, these early recordings were unearthed and finalized in 2019 to bring closure to the original vision and intent with a completed lineup. Drawing inspiration from the moods of Ildjarn-Nidhogg's  Hardangervid da  and the heavy, hypnotic synth of old Summoning,  Thrall of Winter's Majesty  represents a unique entry its collection of work: it is not a representation of the future of   Ringarë , but is purely conceptual in its form and a reflection of times long gone.

Foretold, the mysteries of death's kingdom.

Ensnared by revelation, suspended betwixt eternity.

To worship the season, to worship death.

Thrall of winter's majesty.

In the leadup to its international release on April 21st, stream  Thrall of Winter's Majesty  in its entirety exclusively   HERE , courtesy of Black Metal Promotion. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:

DEAD END FINLAND RELEASE NEW TRACK "BEYOND THE DISTANCE"

PRESS RELEASE:

Finnish melodic metal band Dead End Finland released a new single Beyond The Distance. The track is released again in collaboration with Inverse Records and it is included on an upcoming EP which is released in late 2021.

Watch lyric video: https://youtu.be/V5ice2F07YM

Guitarist & Bass player Santtu Rosén comment:

" "Beyond The Distance" is the second single from our upcoming release. It will be released in the spring ravaged by the corona on April 15, 2021. Where our previous album dealt more objectively with the state of the whole nation and the prevailing world situation, the theme of our new album is clearly more personal. The song to be published tells the story of how one is forced to first touch the bottom to be able to strive towards the surface. A kind of power song, if you will."

THANATOMASS RELEASE NEW TRACK "ALTARS OF NIGROMANCY"

PRESS RELEASE:

Today, hideous black metal manifestation  Thanatomass   premiere the new track   "Altars of Nigromancy"   at   Deaf Forever   magazine's website . The track is   the second to be revealed   from the band's highly anticipated second album,  Black Vitriol & Iron Fire , set for international release on May 21st via  Living Temple Records  in conspiracy with LVX MorgenStern. Hear  Thanatomass ' "Altars of Nigromancy" in its entirety exclusively   HERE

Thanatomass  are a power-trio hailing from Russia. Their date of origin is unknown, but the band made their first public recording in late 2018 with the demo  MMXV-MMXVI , which perhaps reveals some hints as to their origins. Initially self-released through their own LVX MorgenStern enclave,  MMXV-MMXVI  was a strikingly accomplished first assault, brimming with lawless darkness and ravenous devotion: vibrant 'n' violent black metal imbued with the eldritch energies of early thrash.

Not surprisingly, that demo soon saw other physical editions, including the CD version released by current conspirators   Living Temple . In the interim,   Thanatomass  released their debut album,  Darkest Conjurations , via   Living Temple  in late 2019, which saw them further malform those thrash influences into something both more barbaric  and  atmospheric, sounding simultaneously older and fresher than its not-inconsiderable predecessor.

At last,   Thanatomass  deliver their grandest work yet with  Black Vitriol & Iron Fire . Both aptly titled as statement of intent and  apropros  description of its contents,  Black Vitriol & Iron Fire  powerfully and poignantly pulls together both central elements of black metal - that is, both the BLACK and especially the METAL - without sacrificing one over the other. In fact, the trio's sheer urgency, energy, and lustful, lawless verve vividly embody the mania of classic metal possession and the taboo/boundary-breaking quest into the unknown that is the true occult experience. As such,  Black Vitriol & Iron Fire  exists both above and below;   Thanatomass  are merely providing the vessel.

Overwhelming and unquenchable,  Black Vitriol & Iron Fire  is a conflagration of flesh and spirit, desire and demise. Will you take this torch from   Thanatomass ?

Take the next torch with the brand-new track "Altars of Nigromancy" exclusively   HERE , courtesy of   Deaf Forever , Germany's defenders of the true. Take the first torch with the previously revealed "Deathmass Extasis"   HERE   at   Living Temple 's Bandcamp, where the album can also be preordered. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:

2. Deathmass Extasis [6:26]

3. Sulphureous Darkness [3:26]

4. Altars Of Nigromancy [6:07]

ANATOMIA PREMIERE NEW TRACK "DISMEMBERMENT"

PRESS RELEASE:

Today, Japanese death-doom monolith  Anatomia  premiere the new track   "Dismemberment"   at heavily trafficked web-portal   WeAreThePit.com . The track is   the second to be revealed   from the band's highly anticipated fourth album,  Corporeal Torment , set for international release on May 20th via  Me Saco Un Ojo   Records   and  Dark Descent Records   on vinyl LP and CD formats, respectively. Hear  Anatomia 's "Dismemberment" in its entirety exclusively   HERE .

By now,   Anatomia  should require little introduction. For nearly 20 years, this Japanese cult have explored the darkest and most deranged ends of the death-doom spectrum. Theirs is a sound that's intrinsically tied to tradition yet evinces a wealth of weirdness, making their sound both classic and challenging in equal measure. And while their countless split recordings are beloved by the band's ever-growing legions of fans, it is   Anatomia 's full-lengths where they truly dive into the deep end, exploring subterranean expanses of the subconscious and sound itself, making each of their three judiciously-spaced-apart albums unique experiences unto themselves.

The same can be said for   Anatomia 's long-awaited fourth album,  Corporeal Torment . Although it's been merely four years since the critically acclaimed  Cranial Obsession  - that span of time rather quick between   Anatomia  albums -  Corporeal Torment  offers a more concise and daresay "energetic" counterpart to its epically mammoth predecessor. Then again, with tempos rarely kicking above a sludgy gallop as set forth by early heroes Autopsy, it's not long before second track "Slime of Putrescence" drags the listener well and truly into the void of nulled-senses atmospherics. Indeed,   Anatomia 's grasp of mesmerizing mood and dynamics they so masterfully displayed across the aforementioned predecessor is flexed even more fully on  Corporeal Torment : more extremes between crushing and quiet, BPMs often dialed back into the negatives, and reverberating textures that occasionally recall  musique concrète . In fact, the slipstream of energy into inertia as the album throbs onward becomes a vortex that's nigh impossible to escape...but perhaps that was never an option when one steps into   Anatomia 's claustrophobic cocoon of death-doom. No hyperbole and no hope,  Corporeal Torment  is punctuation to the end.

Hear for yourself with the brand-new track "Dismemberment" exclusively   HERE , courtesy of WeAreThePit.com. Also hear the previously revealed "Slime of Putrescense"   HERE  at   Me Saco Un Ojo 's Bandcamp, where the album can be preordered. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:

Tracklisting for Anatomia's  Corporeal Torment

1. Dismemberment [7:11]

2. Slime of Putrescense [8:38]

3. Despaired Void [4:57]

4. Mortem [20:59]

BEFELL RELEASE "SOLITUDE" EP

PRESS RELEASE:

Befell is a new Pennsylvania-based band, who seamlessly intertwines aggression with melody. They are releasing their debut EP  “Solitude”  in May and in advance, are offering their single  “Ticks”  to the world.

For those who have heard  Befell ’s demo “Uproot”, what comes next is a big step up, they have refined and matured their songwriting, made darker melodies and heavier heavy parts, and made the songs better overall while sculpting their own sound.  Befell  explain the record and the single in their own words:

“Despite the overall dark melodies that sound almost in the black metal area in some parts, but overall the aggression and buildups to explosive parts make it a fun listen and it’ll hopefully give off the feeling of people wanting to hear these songs live. The singles are meant to show exactly what we’re all about. The track “Smoke Signals” demonstrates the blend of atmosphere, melody, and aggression while EP opener “Ticks” mostly leans towards the aggression and buildup to the riffs.”

The single  “Ticks”  is a cacophony of explosive movements, and the best way to open the EP as well. It kicks down the door right away and says  “Hey, we’re here and we mean business, let’s have some fun! ”  This song is just a force to be reckoned with, the intensity is nonstop, but the use of dynamics allows little breathers only to build up to a bigger and heavier riff. This is one built for the mosh pit.

Befell  is a brand new band, working hard to get their music out to ears around the world. Bruce Boring (vocals/guitars), Mitchell Caprio (guitars), and Jace Ebersole (drums) come together in the midst of the pandemic and managed to write almost ten songs remotely and put together both a demo and the EP this year. They have a modern thrash sound, but incorporate many different elements such as metalcore and vocal layering and adding synth and effect layers to boost some parts.

Befell  is recommended for fans of Trivium, Killswitch Engage, and As I Lay Dying,

“Ticks”  is out as of April 15, 2021 and can be heard at the following links:
