30 YEARS AGO TODAY: EXODUS RELEASES "IMPACT IS IMMINENT"

After three amazing albums like "Bonded by Blood", "Pleasures of the Flesh" and "Fabulous Disaster", EXODUS entered the 1990s decade with this "Impact is Imminent". In a world that was changing overflowing with grunge and shitty music metal went underground again and tried to survive. After a very succesful album like "Fabulous Disaster" EXODUS released the new album in a mucho more difficult context and in fact this is one of the albums  that EXODUS that their fans like less. Even with classics like "A.W.O.L.". "Objection Overruled" or "The Lunatic Parade", this is not their best album, but its really enjoyable when compared to what many other bands did at the time. "Impact is Imminent" was recorded at Music Grinder and Two Mendocino Studios and was mixed at Alpha & Omega and mastered at Precision Mastering.

OFERMOD RELEASE "PENTAGRAMMATON"

Swedish black death metal band OFERMOD featuring members of OCTINOMOS and NEFANDUS, will release their new album "Pentagrammaton" on June 22nd. The new album was originally recorded in 2005 but was mastered and mixed in 2020. "Pentagrammaton" will be released on CD, limited edition double 12" red and black vinyl and cassette as well as the usual formats. "Pentagrammaton" is the band´s fourth full length release. HOBOKNIFE STREAMS "WIG OF FLIES" ALBUM

Richmond,Virginia black thrash metal band HOBOKNIFE, featuring members from BATTLEMASTER and ERADICANT, are streaming their new album "Wig of Flies" in their Bandcamp site. DISBURIAL RELEASES "VERMIN VOID" EP

Ecuador´s death metal band DISBURIAL will release their new EP "Vermin Void" on June 26th. The EP is the second one released by the band. The first one was "Dawn of Ancient Horrors" released in 2018. Californian progressive death metal band DESSIDERIUM will release their new album "Shadow Burn" on June 25th. The new album is the third full length release in the band´s history and the follow up to their "Rain Gates" album from 2017 and the "Streaks" single from the same year. HERESIARCAS STREAM "HERETIC RITUALS" (ALSO CALLED "RITUALES HEREJES") DEMO

Bolivian death metal band HERESIARCAS are streaming their demo "Heretic Rituals" on their Bandcamp site (check below). The band released this demo, their first release, on June 18th independently. The demo was recorded at Demencial Records in Februrary. The new album is the third full length release by the band and the follow up to their "II: Morphosis" album released in 2017 and the "Lost Paragraphs" EP released in 2018.
