COUNTESS RELEASE "PAGAN MAN" SINGLE

Today, Dutch metal veterans COUNTESS have released a new single. The song ‘Pagan Man’ represents the band’s first original new material since 2016’s critically acclaimed full-length ‘Fires Of Destiny’. It is also the first release to feature the band’s new guitarist Valgard, who joined the group last year.

‘Pagan Man’ is a raw yet melodic slab of COUNTESS’ unique take on black metal, enshrined in an old school sound that will surely leave the fans wanting more. Currently the band are in the process of recording their as yet untitled next full-length album. More news on the new record to follow soon!

About COUNTESS:

Among the first Dutch black metal bands in the early nineties, COUNTESS have always set themselves apart from other bands by a fierce loyalty to their old school influences. For two and a half decades, while fashions came and went, COUNTESS stayed true to their vision and thus earned a worldwide cult status in the metal underground.

In spite of their sworn allegiance to metal orthodoxy, COUNTESS have never shied from innovation. In 1994 they created the first black metal song with Dutch lyrics (Bloed In De Sneeuw), in 1995 the first black metal love ballad (Blood On My Lips) and in 1997 were the first band to take a rocking approach to the genre (Hell's Rock & Roll).

Over the course of 28 years and 15 full-length albums, COUNTESS' sound has evolved from the raw black metal of the early releases towards a more traditional heavy metal-influenced style. The band's most recent offering, Fires Of Destiny in 2016, being a powerful example of a seamless integration of heavy and black metal elements.

In 2014 the band returned to the stage after a long period of not having played live. Since then, COUNTESS have performed impressive shows at numerous prestigious metal festivals in their own country, Belgium, Germany, Denmark and Finland.

EXODUS: FULL HELLFEST 2018 CONCERT ONLINE NOW

 

Thanks to France´s ARTE Concert we can now enjoy the full show that thrash metal masters EXODUS delivered in the 2018 edition of the Hellfest. The band´s latest album at that momento was "Blood In, Blood Out" from 2014 and the boxed set "Original Album Collection" released in 2018 featuring their first three studio albums plus "Good Friendly Violent Fun" and "Another Lesson in Violence".

  

LUTHARÖ RELEASE "BLOOD LIGHTNING" VIDEO

Canada's LUTHARÖ unleashed their sophomore EP “Wings of Agony” this past March. More innovative and imaginative than their debut EP "Unleash The Beast", LUTHARÖ stepped out of their comfort zone for “Wings of Agony”. Their catchy riffs, blazing solos, and vocals ranging from vicious growls to cleans are sure to send a chill down your spine, making them a well-rounded powerhouse of a band that brings beauty, aggression, and skill to the genre.

Today, the band is ready to share their latest music video for fan favourite "Blood Lightning". 

The band explains the video and track: "The song 'Blood Lightning' is about having such an extreme passion for something so much so that it sets your soul on fire, for better or for worse. It is the endless struggle of putting your blood, sweat, and tears into something and receiving next to nothing in return. However, when you do catch a glimpse of your progress, it is enough to keep pushing forward even when you are constantly being beaten down and put to war. The music video for 'Blood Lightning' showcases all of the physical, emotional, financial, etc. Hard work that is put into pursuing your dreams in music. The shots taken to look like the set of a video shoot are meant to resemble the business aspect/ behind the scenes work of being a musician, but also the high of performing live and seeing your visions come to life. While the single shots of each member in the middle of a storm are meant to display the emotional sacrifices and hardships that each individual goes through."

NEKRODELIRIUM RELEASE "NECROMENTIA" OFFICIAL VIDEO

Norwegian black death metal band NEKRODELIRIUM, fronted by the almighty Sandra Stensen on vocals and multiple instruments, have released a video for the track "Necromentia". The tune is part of the band´s latest release, the "Apocalypse" EP released in 2016 through Temple of Darkness Records. The EP was recorded, produced, mixed and mastered by Ola Lindgren at Studio Soulless. Vocals, guitar & bass were done by Sandra Stensen and drums & guitars by Erik Röjås. The video was shot at location deep down in the south of Sweden at a haunted train station built in 1874. The video credits are as follow:

SÓLSTAFIR RELEASE "AKKERI" OFFICIAL TRACK PREMIERE VIDEO

Progressive post metal (also viking metal in the beginning) band SÓLSTAFIR has released an official premiere track video for "Akkeri" (check it below). The tune is the opening track of the band´s new album "Endless Twilight of Codependent Love" that will be released on November 6th through Season of Mist Records. ANAAL NATHRAKH RELEASE "ENDARKENMENT" OFFICIAL VIDEO

British industrial black metal ANAAL NATHRAKH has just released a video for the track "Endarkenment". The tune is part of the band´s new album, also entitled "Endarkenment" that will be released on October 2nd through Metal Blade Records. The video was directed and edited by David Brodsky for MyGoodEye (facebook.com/MyGoodEye), was produced by: David Brodsky and David Hunt and features Illustrations and animations by Tim Kellen and David Brodsky. OBITUARY: FULL HELLFEST 2015 SHOW ONLINE NOW

French ARTE Concert has uploaded the full show that death metal master OBITUARY unleashed on the Hellfest in its 2015 edition. The band was supporting their "Inked in Blood" album that was released in 2014. The tracklist includes classics like "Slowly We Rot", "`Till Death", "Infected" and "Bloodsaked" along with newer tracks like "Back on Top" or "Inked in Blood". You can see the show below:
