WARTHRASH RELEASE "NO LIGHT SHALL REMAIN"

PRESS RELEASE:

Band: WARTHRASH

Album: No Light Shall Remain

Release Date: June 19, 2026

Country: Colombia

Label: Awakening Records

Genre: Death Metal

WARTHRASH’s second full-length album No Light Shall Remain will be released on June 19, 2026 via Awakening Records. The album will be available on CD and digital formats.

Formed in 2005 in Medellín, Colombia, WARTHRASH have gradually moved from their early thrash roots into a heavier and darker sound, incorporating elements of classic death metal while keeping the speed and directness of thrash intact.

The band’s sound draws from classic death metal influences such as DEATH, MORBID ANGEL, ENTOMBED, and DISMEMBER.

On No Light Shall Remain, the band works within that space without overcomplicating it. The material leans on fast, riff-driven structures, occasional blast beats, and mid-tempo sections that give the songs room to breathe. “Culebras Sin Honor” features blazing guitar riffs, grunted vocals, and quick blast beats, while “Oscura Condena” is equally intense with relentless and intense dynamics throughout its runtime. “Undefeated” and “Hand of Doom” have a majestic vibe and a galloping rhythmic groove, with “Hand of Doom” also being Infernal Majesty-inspired.

The band operates as a four-piece, with each member contributing to the writing process, giving the album variation without losing focus. The result is a record that stays consistent in tone without feeling one-dimensional.

Lyrically, the album moves through themes of power, decay, and confrontation, without focusing on a single concept. The atmosphere stays direct, matching the overall sound of the record.

The album was recorded and mastered at Area 51 Studios in Medellín. The production remains clear but avoids over-polishing, maintaining a raw edge. The cover artwork by Felipe Mora follows the same direction, in line with the band’s identity.

Merciless spoke about the album’s writing process:

“The songwriting process for this album had two key elements. First, the addition of myself on second guitar brought new ideas and textures to the band’s sound. Second, we wanted to stay true to our identity while pushing beyond what we had done on our previous EP. We didn’t rush the process at all. We took the time to carefully work on every detail, and we believe that shows in the final result - a solid and well-crafted album.”

On signing with Awakening Records:

“We’re really excited to be working with Awakening Records, especially because we’ve been following their work with Colombian bands for a while now. We truly respect the quality of their releases and the exposure they’ve helped some bands achieve in recent years. Our expectations are to reach new audiences with our music and expand into new markets. We see this album as the beginning of a strong and long-lasting relationship, not only with the label but also with metalheads in Asia and Europe.”

TOTAL ANNIHILATION RELEASE "MOUNTAINS OF MADNESS"

PRESS RELEASE:

Total Annihilation Unleash Fourth Album Mountains of Madness — Out Now

Basel Thrash/Death Maniacs Return with Unrelenting Fury

Basel, Switzerland — January 16, 2026 — Total Annihilation, the thrash/death metal force that has been tearing through the European underground since 2006, have returned with their fourth full-length album, Mountains of Madness , via Germany’s Testimony Records. Delivering a perfect storm of speed, brutality, and technical ferocity, the band cements their status as one of the most ferocious metal acts on the planet.

Born from the ashes of a stagnant local scene, Total Annihilation began as five thrash metal maniacs determined to revive Basel’s underground metal culture. Over nearly two decades, they’ve evolved from raw thrash purists into masters of their own unique Thrashing Death Metal style, blending influences ranging from classic Kreator-era thrash to the crushing force of Swedish death metal.

Their 2023 release Raging Death showcased the band’s ability to fuse furious thrash with old-school death metal, and Mountains of Madness takes that aggression to an entirely new level. Recorded by Christoph Brandes at Iguana Studios in Freiburg, Germany, and mixed & mastered by Ronnie Björnström in Sweden, the album pushes Total Annihilation’s sound into faster, heavier, and more technically sophisticated territory than ever before.

“More speed, more brutality, more Thrash and more Death! Mountains of Madness hits the sweet spot between speed and brutality,” says the band. “There will be no mercy!”

For fans of Legion of the Damned, old Kreator, and Asphyx, Mountains of Madness is a relentless journey into thrash/death metal chaos, perfect for those who live for the mosh pit.

DISSENTIENCE RELEASE "KAIJU"

PRESS RELEASE:

Inspired by classic Japanese monster films and Lovecraftian mythology, DISSENTIENCE are left to fend for themselves and escape a destructive, nameless beast in their latest release "Kaiju". Based out of Bethlehem, PA, the progressive death-thrash unit unleash a devastatingly brutal onslaught accompanied with their humorous take on a B-movie video style, available HERE.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_Y7GPzSP84

"While we take the music side of DISSENTIENCE very seriously, the 'Kaiju' video was a great excuse to have some fun with the whole concept." The band shares. "The last thing the world needs is another 'band in a warehouse' or 'live on stage' music video, so we wanted to do things a little differently. Keeping the monster off-screen, we leaned into the B-Movie aspect of our inspiration as it seemingly picks us off one by one. Running around on a freezing day in northeast PA was absolutely brutal, but Sarah from Novro Studios absolutely nailed the edit and made all the frostbite worth it!"

"Kaiju" is the title track and narrative climax of their newly released four-track concept EP. The song's lyrics describe grotesque scenes of bloodshed and helplessness as the unseen terror rips through the last remnants of resistance. Sonically, brutal gutturals, riffs and rhythmic fury build with intensity throughout as the sense of urgency and impending doom escalates.

Kaiju was produced by the band alongside Corey Pierce, the record was engineered by Matt Menafro at Peach Pie Sound, mixed by Zeuss, and mastered by Alan Douches. The music video for "Kaiju" was shot and edited by Sarah Novroski & Novro Studios. The full EP is released independently and available on digital and CD formats.

Kaiju Tracklist:

1-Obsidian Tomb

2-Chaos Absolute

3-Kaiju

4-Death Shroud

About DISSENTIENCE:

Formed in 2013 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, DISSENTIENCE is a progressive death-thrash metal band that combines the technical precision of death metal with the relentless energy of thrash. Rejecting retro imitation and genre stagnation, the band creates forward-thinking metal that is both aggressive and dynamic. Drawing influence from bands like TRIVIUM, REVOCATION, SYLOSIS, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, DEATH, and LAMB OF GOD, DISSENTIENCE forges a sound built on sharp riffs, crushing rhythms, and inventive songwriting.

The lineup features Connor Valentin on guitar and vocals, James Vitale on guitar, Sean Langer on bass, and Nick Scherden on drums. Known for their intense live performances and refusal to be confined to a single subgenre, the band continuously pushes their sound in new directions. Their music balances chaos and melody while exploring dark themes through a modern lens.

After releasing their debut EP Mask of Pretense in 2018 and their full-length album Empire Anatomy in 2022, DISSENTIENCE returned with the concept EP Kaiju in 2026. The record blends the devastation of giant monster cinema with the dread of Lovecraftian horror, showcasing the band’s evolution in sound and narrative depth. UNBURIER RELEASE "AS TIME AWAITS"

PRESS RELEASE:

Unburier

As Time Awaits

27 February 2026

UK death metal band UNBURIER has returned with their latest EP, As Time Awaits on February 27th 2026. Uncompromisingly vicious but performed with utmost precision, the band expands their sonic scope while honing the intensity that defined their previous releases. With their new drummer Kim Hughes joining the lineup, UNBURIER unleashes a perfect storm of fresh energy and renewed technicality, pushing their blend of old-school and modern death metal to new extremes. Known for raw ferocity and deft performances, UNBURIER sharpens their approach on this release with tighter songwriting, bigger hooks, and a more refined, punishing delivery.

The EP opens ominously with the intro of "Continuum", then charges onward into the depths and never lets up. Darkness prevails on "Continuum" with a groovy rhythm section and tastefully melodic guitar leads. Powerful mid-range vocals drive the song, occasionally layered with guttural growls to add depth and intensity. The melodies are underpinned with elegantly-phrased fretless bass lines and tight, progressive drumming. The track steadily builds momentum before hitting a breakdown that shifts the dynamics, leading into back-to-back solos that showcase the band’s musicianship. Lyrically, "Continuum" explores the collapse of rigid beliefs and the confusion that follows. It paints a picture of spiraling ideas and false guidance, revealing the emptiness behind so-called truths. The track dives into the tension between light and darkness, truth and deception, showing how we wrestle with meaning in a world full of contradictions. Dark, intense, and unflinching, it sets a tone of uneasy reflection and relentless questioning.

Next, kicking off with a section of torrential, arpeggiated dissonance, "Abyssal Uncertainty" quickly announces its brutality before diving into rapid, NECROPHAGIST-inspired riffing. The fretless bass weaves in and out of each riff, acting as the translator between the frantic guitars and precise drumming. Despite shifting meter and tempo, the song maintains a consistent feel and raw edge throughout, sonically illustrating the darkened narrative. It features the standout solo of the EP, utilizing the track's unyielding brutality as momentum into a soaring passage that showcases a more playful lead guitar style. "Abyssal Uncertainty" is the most lyrically-ambitious track of the EP, with nods to Camus, Lovecraft and other literary influences. The listener is invited to witness a trapped laborer's descent into madness, reflecting on and acknowledging the absurdity of his life and death. The struggles depicted here represent those of anyone who has been forced to devote themselves to someone else's greed, and the yearning for a world where we can each live in accordance with our own nature.

Finally, "Survive the Vermin" ends the EP with the appropriate blend of ferocity and spellbinding technicality. Vocalist and guitarist Ben Champion shows off a viscerally emotive vocal range, skillfully punctuating his mid-range snarls with screeching highs for maximum impact. Bassist Stan Mitchell and drummer Kim Hughes lay the foundation for the song's intensity with a punchy, driving rhythm section. Guitarist Blake Hibberd propels the momentum forward with a relentless barrage of twisting, turning, shredding leads. The lyrics of "Survive The Vermin" develop themes of purpose and identity on the EP through a first-person account of a cosmic, immortal warrior. Surrendering flesh for steel, the narrator struggles to detach themselves from the sensations they thought to have discarded. The lyrics ask if, when we give ourselves wholly to one purpose, it is worth sacrificing the simplicity of everyday life. Paying homage to sci-fi author Nate Crowley and absurdist philosophy, "Survive The Vermin" provides the most direct declaration of the themes behind the EP.

Newcomers to UNBURIER's realm of fury and technicality will find As Time Awaits to be a compelling introduction to the band's evolving sound, and longtime listeners will be proud to follow the band’s growth across their earlier releases.

About UNBURIER:

Hailing from the south of England, UNBURIER stormed onto the death metal scene in the summer of 2022 with their debut EP Twisted Existence. The EP showcased the band's undeniable technical abilities, in addition to their raw and harrowing sound. In 2024, UNBURIER returned with their follow-up EP, Nebulous, on which the band refined their songwriting and technical prowess. On this release, the band ventured even deeper into the realms of their death metal influences, among which they count DEATH, NECROPHAGIST, and REVOCATION.

Having conquered stages alongside the likes of SANGUISUGABOGG, CRYPTA, and PARTY CANNON, as well as making notable appearances at Bloodstock Open Air and Incineration Festival, UNBURIER continues to carve a path alongside giants of the death metal genre. Their upcoming third EP, As Time Awaits, sees UNBURIER blending old- and new-school death metal styles with technicality, hooks, and razor-sharp songwriting. Carrying the torch of the classic death metal sound into a new age, As Time Awaits is certain to enthrall longtime fans of the genre.

VOMITVSANCTVS RELEASE "EATEN BY MAGGOTS"

PRESS RELEASE:

VomitvsanctvS was formed in the spring of 2023 in Ełk as a trio (Reverend Pest – vocals and bass guitar, Preacher – electric guitar, Prophet – drums). The debut album, released on September, 27 2024 by Via Nocturna, is a manifestation of contempt for the clergy and all things sacred. The lyrics explore themes of pervasive manipulation, depression, and the psychosis delivered daily by the media.

Here we return from the Masurian abyss, bringing you rage, pain and madness! We are the festering secretion of contempt — we are VomitvsanctvS!

The new EP created using a DIY approach, combines death metal sound with elements of black metal coldness and a horror-driven atmosphere. Its raw yet precisely grounded production makes the material aggressive but still clear. The lyrics were deliberately stripped of metaphorical soft edges; instead of floating poetically above the problem, they hammer it brutally into the listener.

“Eaten By Maggots” is not a release about death — but about the moment when anger becomes fuel and revenge becomes catharsis. It is an EP for listeners who do not seek comfort in music, but confrontation.

The mixing and mastering process were handled by guitarist Preacher, and all lyrics were written by vocalist and bassist Reverend Pest. Artwork was done by Jesus Lhysta of Rotted Artist (Codex Nero, Dehydrated, Beleth).

EP titled "Eaten By Maggots" will be released December 19, 2025 in digital format on all popular streaming platforms (pre-save).

2. Wrecking The World

3. The Evildoer Of Pixelville

In the meantime, three singles have already been released, accompanied by official music videos and a visualizer, offering a first glimpse into the upcoming album:

"Wrecking the World" - https://youtu.be/mLSGthS05fY

"Deth Bü Wolfe" - https://youtu.be/9Orn55Imy2s

"Master of the Hunt" - https://youtu.be/Y52O5tetIs4

Stockholm veterans Sterbhaus play Metal Deluxe which can be described as timeless Death, Thrash, Heavy, Black and Progressive Metal that is neither retro or modern. And Sterbhaus lines this with a heavy dose or dark wit humour.

The band is the home of Marcus Hammarström (previously Elvira Madigan 1998-2008, Shining and currently also in Veile - side project of Ghul from Mayhem), Jimmy Ahovalli and Erik Röjås (previously Ondskapt and Decadence). Started in 2007 as a five-piece and reformed several times since then, Sterbhaus ended up as a trio after having looked back on years releasing absolutely stellar albums, touring Europe (as support for Vader, Melechesh and Shining), South America and after having played several prestigious festivals such as Metal Town, Rock Harz, BlastFest, Extremefest which meant sharing the bill with Slipknot, Amon Amarth, Marilyn Manson, Behemoth, Opeth etc.

In 2025 Sterbhaus made a quite formidable return after a period of being fairly dormant and surprised the scene with the comeback single “Deth Bü Wolfe” which is the knuckle sandwich old/new/awaiting fans never saw coming.

The current status of Sterbhaus is actually quite unknown as the band announced its end in 2019 - while simultaneously making it very clear that there were still several releases to be made. One was the live album “Necrostabbing at Göta Källare” which achieved the unlikely feat of snagging the No1 sales position in Sweden for physical releases and No9 for all Metal and all formats!

While the debut “Angels for Breakfast ...And God for Lunch” (2013) seemed to open most evert door the album “New Level of Malevolence” (2015) - although popular and praised when released, seemed to close those doors instead. Several cancelled tours, being banned for offensive videos (a ridiculous claim ofc), botched promotions, even more cancellations and one or two empty festival seasons together with personal issues put Sterbhaus in such a tight spot the band had a hard time bouncing back. Marcus Hammarström joined Swedish extreme metal titans Shining and toured extensively while Sterbhaus released the Christmas EP “Krampusnacht”. Eventually Marcus quit Shining to focus on the 2025 Sterbhaus album "Next Akin to Chaos".

Either it will be a momentous epitaph or a new beginning.

DISSENTIENCE RELEASE "KAIJU"

PRESS RELEASE:

Dissentience

Kaiju

20 February 2026

DISSENTIENCE, the progressive death-thrash unit from Bethlehem, PA, returns with their most conceptually ambitious and sonically punishing release to date: Kaiju. Scheduled for release on February 20, 2026, Kaiju is a four-track concept EP that fuses cinematic horror, crushing riffs, and lyrical dread into a singular apocalyptic vision. Drawing inspiration from classic Japanese monster films and the unknowable terrors of Lovecraftian mythology, the record explores the narrative of a colossal, nameless beast as it decimates a city. Rather than paying tribute to kaiju lore in name alone, DISSENTIENCE builds a world where riffs, lyrics, and production align to place the listener in the path of annihilation.

The EP begins with "Obsidian Tomb", a track that captures the initial moments of catastrophe. A somber acoustic intro builds tension before the monster is unleashed. The song moves through blast-laden choruses, thrash-driven verses, and groove-heavy interludes, all while painting a picture of destruction through the eyes of a terrified populace. The band intentionally avoids naming the monster or the city to keep the setting timeless and the fear universal. This choice also reinforces the Lovecraftian tone by allowing the horror to remain undefined, inviting each listener to project their own dread into the story.

"Chaos Absolute" takes a different narrative angle by focusing on the political and social collapse that follows the attack. Opening with a syncopated, high-tension riff and shifting into a massive, deceptively catchy groove, the track evokes the panic and futility of global leaders attempting to respond to an unstoppable force. Frantic guitar harmonies, dissonant progressions, and a brief clean bridge section give way to some of the heaviest material on the record. The phrase “fall into chaos absolute” functions as both a summary of the storyline and a reflection of the listener’s experience as the music surges with desperation.

The title track "Kaiju" represents the climax of the EP, unleashing a relentless barrage of violence and devastation. The lyrics describe grotesque scenes of bloodshed and helplessness as the beast rips through the last remnants of resistance. Riffs churn beneath guttural vocals, with every passage dripping with urgency and rage. The music mirrors the scale of the narrative, building to overwhelming levels of sonic brutality. The repeated line “Kaiju will bring forth a new age of rot” serves as the thesis for the entire record, framing the monster not only as a literal destroyer but as a symbol of humanity’s self-inflicted reckoning.

The final track "Death Shroud" transitions into the aftermath. With the monster gone, what remains is a landscape of ash, grief, and existential dread. The band leans into dissonance and atmosphere, balancing crushing heaviness with bleak introspection. Survivors are left to make sense of their trauma, questioning whether the world can rebuild or if it even should. The Kaiju, now retreated, is no less present. Its legacy hangs in the smoke, a constant reminder of how fragile everything truly was. “The Kaiju may lay dormant, but the anguish remains” is the emotional core of the track and perhaps of the entire release.

Kaiju was produced by DISSENTIENCE in collaboration with Corey Pierce, recorded at Peach Pie Sound by Matt Menafro, mixed by Zeuss, and mastered by Alan Douches. The yet-to-be-revealed cover art is by Matt Stikker, known for his vivid and brutal visual storytelling. This release follows the band’s prior offerings Mask of Pretense (2018) and Empire Anatomy (2022), continuing their evolution as songwriters and sonic architects.

Refusing to imitate the past, DISSENTIENCE draws from influences like TRIVIUM, REVOCATION, SYLOSIS, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, DEATH, and LAMB OF GOD, all while forging a sound that avoids the trappings of nostalgia. Their music is defined by technicality, brutality, and a refusal to be boxed into genre clichés. Critics have taken note. Decibel Magazine remarked that DISSENTIENCE channels the essence of classic thrash and death metal without creating a carbon copy. Metal Injection praised their ability to blend groove and fury in a way that hits with maximum impact.

With Kaiju, DISSENTIENCE has crafted more than just a record. It is a fully realized conceptual journey that pushes their sound further into new territory. Every song contributes to a unified narrative of destruction, dread, and reflection. It is a rare example of a metal record that is both musically blistering and thematically rich. Where others nod to monsters, DISSENTIENCE gives them voice, weight, and consequence.

DISSENTIENCE has earned a reputation as one of the most compelling rising forces in heavy music. Their mission is clear: to make metal that is uncompromising, inventive, and unapologetically intense.

DISSENTIENCE is:

Connor Valentin – Guitar / Vocals

James Vitale – Guitar

Sean Langer – Bass

Nick Scherden – Drums

DEAD ALIVE RELEASE "THE MADNESS OF DR. LUDVIG VON BRAINMATTER"

PRESS RELEASE:

Dead Alive Unleash Maniacal New Album The Madness of Dr. Ludvig Von Brainmatter — Out Now!

Horror Thrash at its Most Deranged from Nashville’s Most Haunted Metal Freaks

https://linktr.ee/deadalivenashville

NASHVILLE, TN — On October 4th, 2024, the gates of the asylum burst open and the dead rose again as horror thrash maniacs Dead Alive released their twisted new full-length The Madness of Dr. Ludvig Von Brainmatter — an 11-track descent into cinematic chaos, unhinged riffs, and blood-splattered storytelling.

Forged in the haunted heart of Nashville’s underground, Dead Alive is a four-headed beast that fuses high-speed thrash metal with the gory fun of classic horror flicks. Formed in 2015 by front-ghoul Count Scapula , the band brings raw energy, theatrical flair, and a horror-fueled musical onslaught that’s part Slayer , part Ghoul , and part Evil Dead VHS collection.

This latest release is a horrifying, headbanging journey into madness, featuring standout tracks like “Re-Agent” and “Flip The Switch” — already cult classics in their live sets. The album’s artwork, conjured by renowned illustrator Dan Goldsworthy , is as grotesquely beautiful as the music it houses. Eerie samples, neck-snapping riffs, and lyrics ripped straight from a cursed screenplay make this album an essential listen for fans of Death , Carach Angren , and old-school horror metal madness.

A Legacy of Undead Metal Mayhem

Dead Alive’s discography is a horror show in the best way:

Rise of the Skeleton Army (2021): Their debut LP brought the undead to life with cult anthems like “Gravestoned” and their fan-favorite cover of “Spooky Scary Skeletons.”

Green Hell (2024): A blistering Misfits cover for Horror Shock Records' tribute to Earth A.D.

Blood in the Water (2025): A surf-thrash-black metal tribute to Jaws and Shark Week.

Corpsefvcker (2025): A morbid commentary on rock star worship and the grotesque blur between fame and fetish.

More Than Music — It’s a Movement (of the Undead)

Dead Alive calls their community the Skeleton Army , a growing legion of fans who live for metal, horror, and unapologetic weirdness. Their ethos? Be semi-serious : dead serious about the riffs, the performance, and the scene — but never too serious to have fun with it.

As the band puts it:

“We’re making the soundtracks to horror movies that don’t exist… yet.”

The Madness of Dr. Ludvig Von Brainmatter out now on all major streaming platforms. Prepare for reanimation.

TORTURE SQUAD RELEASE VIDEO FOR "THOTH"

PRESS RELEASE:

TORTURE SQUAD releases music video for “Thoth”, from the acclaimed album 'Devilish'

In the seventh music video released to promote the album explora, the band explores the use of Artificial Intelligence for the first time.

Listen to the new single “Thoth" HERE!

Watch the new video “Thoth": HERE!

Torture Squad, one of the greatest Brazilian metal bands, releases this Friday, July 11th, the music video for the track "Thoth". This is the seventh promotional video for the acclaimed album 'Devilish,' released in September 2023 by the Italian label Time to Kill.

With this release, the band explores the use of Artificial Intelligence for the first time, with the music video created entirely by AI. The images are original, edited by producer and editor Daniel Berrettini of DB Criação & Design, and constructed based on information from the composer of the lyrics, Rene Simionato. The idea is to use AI resources to recreate the Egyptian theme.

Guitarist Rene Simionato comments:

"his song talks about Thoth, who carries all the ancestral wisdom of Ancient Egypt, and who in ancient Greece was known as Hermes Trismegistus. It all became a true mystical journey, bringing the mystery of the Seven Hermetic Laws, which appear in the video in a symbolic and powerful way, and which align directly with the weight of death metal."

Daniel Berrettini of DB Creative Studio also shared his thoughts on the work:

"Producing the Thoth music video was a fascinating journey to Ancient Egypt with all its cultural and visual richness. Using Artificial Intelligence, I created images of the exuberant pyramids, temples, desert landscapes, art and Egyptian writing. I also used visual effects to create the mystical atmosphere surrounding the god Thoth. An enriching job that I did with great pleasure!""

Torture Squad will soon announce more European tour dates, and recently confirmed their participation in Wacken Open Air, the largest heavy metal festival in the world, which takes place in Germany. The band will perform on July 30th, Wednesday, a fact that makes Torture Squad the only Brazilian band to play four times at the festival. The band performed in 2007, as winners of the Metal Battle, with the 'Chaos Corporation Tour', in 2008 with the 'Hellbound Tour', 2011 with the 'Aequilibrium Tour' and is now leading the 'Devilish Tour'.

TORTURE SQUAD is seen by extreme music fans as one of the most visceral and powerful metal bands in action today.

With almost three decades of experience, with excellent live performances including at the most important metal festivals in the world, the Brazilian group gathered legions of fans playing throughout the country, Latin America and Europe.

In 2019, while preparing the new album, Torture Squad arrived at one of the biggest music festivals in the world, the Brazilian Rock in Rio, where they performed for an audience of 120,000 people. In a cast full of metal legends like Anthrax, Slayer, Sepultura, Scorpions and Iron Maiden, the show was epic alongside Chuck Billy (Testament) and the Brazilians of Claustrofobia on the Sunset stage, with the set covering songs from their entire career TS and Testament Classics.

After Rock in Rio, came the long-awaited tour of Central America, passing through Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala. The highlight was the show at Mexico Metal Fest which Torture Squad was one of the headliners.

In 2020 they released a new single and video called “O Doutrinador”, inspired by a Brazilian comic book character that also became a movie and TV series. The English version of the single and video called “The Awakener” is also available.

In 2021 the band celebrated twenty years since the release of their third album “The Unholy Spell” (2001) playing the entire album in Lives and live shows.

In 2022, the band performed at “La Iglesia” in São Paulo, giving rise to the live album “Torture at La Iglesia En Vivo”, and also the single “The Fallen Ones” with exclusive debut in the American magazine Decibel Magazine. Ending the year doing a show alongside one of the thrash metal legends in the world “Exodus” at the Carioca Club, in São Paulo.

STERBHAUS RELEASE NEW SINGLE AND VIDEO "WRECKING THE WORLD"

PRESS RELEASE:

STERBHAUS releases second single and video "Wrecking the World" - from first album in ten years

STERBHAUS (ex members of Shining, Elvira Madigan, Ondskapt etc) has released a new single for the song "Wrecking the World" accompanied by a video that should raise an eyebrow or two - if not for it's hilarious message and visuals then at least for the fact that people actually died making the film the video contains clips from.

The "Wrecking the World" video contains footage from the infamous (yet now probably forgotten) disaster movie “Noah’s Ark” from 1928 which had people actually dying during the flood scenes – scenes that included a then unknown John Wayne hired as one of 7500 extras. 2,5 million litres of water were unleashed over people frantically trying to stay above the water line or trying not to be trampled. So if it looks like people are desperately trying to stay alive – they actually really are!

Three people drowned, one person had to have his leg amputated and almost a dozen suffered broken limbs and other serious injuries.

So why does Sterbhaus have a video with footage from Noah's Ark?

Well... the song “Wrecking the World” is actually about just this hilarious and dubious tall tale, and that there happened to exist an old weird film that goes so well with the lyrical content is really quite the coincident. The video stays extremely true to the bands agenda. Vocalist/lyricist Marcus Hammarström explains:

“I’ve always wanted to do a song about Noah's Ark - even before Sterbhaus. I mean, it really portrays like nothing else the ultimate stupidity of the human race when it comes to what man is ready to accept as facts in order to just not being interested in thinking anymore. And for those who know Sterbhaus - we totally love stupidity. It seems like the world is missing a point when not understanding that if you consider yourself Christian in any way - you actually 'have to' buy into this rubbish. Because the thing is;you can't pick the raisings out of a doctrine and 'decide' whats true or not from the same manual. Either you're in or you're out. And this story proves that if you're in - you're an idiot.

Well, I'm telling you! We're gonna have ball tossing around awesome statistics and hilarious memes the next couple of months!"

STERBHAUS returned in February earlier this year with the release of a total banger called "Deth Bü Wolfe". This was the first single and video from the upcoming album "Next Akin to Chaos" (which does not yet have a release date) that will mark the first new full length from the band in a decade.

"Wrecking the World" Official video:

https://youtu.be/mLSGthS05fY

STERBHAUS started in 2007 and is the home of Marcus Hammarström (also in Mayhems guitarist Ghuls side project Veile, prev Shining, Elvira Madigan), Jimmy Ahovalli and Erik Röjås (prev Ondskapt, Decadence) and even though the band announced its retirement in 2019 it was also made official that - apart from releasing the live album “Necrostabbing at Göta Källare” in 2021 (which actually charted at #1 for physical format in Sweden), the very last thing to happen was going to be the release of one more album. The coming album "Next Akin to Chaos" is that album.

STERBHAUS RELEASE NEW SINGLE AND VIDEO: "DETH BÜ WOLFE"

PRESS RELEASE:

STERBHAUS (ex members of Shining, Elvira Madigan, Ondskapt etc) has released a new single and video “Deth Bü Wolfe”. The last full length album was released ten years ago – so it is no understatement that this is quite an event!

“Deth Bü Wolfe” (spelling obviously intentional, and an ironic nod towards the over usage of sterotypes in Metal music in general) is the first new song from the upcoming album “Next Akin to Chaos” which at the time does not have a release date. The band promises this year to be full of tasty treats and blistering Metal - and "Deth Bü Wolfe" is the first offering.

According to vocalist/bassist Marcus Hammarström:

“This was obviously gonna be the first single even eight years ago when it was first written. It’s just such an immediate Sterbhaus classic and it's chock full of hooks, riffs, solos and fierce spitting vocals. It's all cranked up to eleven this time. There's a weird marriage between tricky stuff and accessibility in all that we do and this proves just that... Hell, it's catchy as most anything. If you don’t get hooked after the first “ugh” then you can't possibly have a Metal in your blood.”

STERBHAUS is the home of Marcus Hammarström (prev Shining, Elvira Madigan), Jimmy Ahovalli and Erik Röjås (prev Ondskapt, Decadence) and even though the band announced its retirement in 2019 it was also made official that - apart from releasing the live album “Necrostabbing at Göta Källare” in 2021 (which actually charted at #1 for physical format in Sweden), the very last thing to happen was going to be the release of one more album.

"Deth Bü Wolfe" is now out on all major streaming platforms and it comes with a tasty video as well

You don’t want to miss this!!

The arrival of the conqueror is near and the world as we know it is doomed. At least, this is what threatens humanity according to the story that Kassel-based Chaos Path have prepared on their previous releases “The Awakening” (2018) and “Downfall” (2019) and which will be completed on their third work “The Last Sign Of Eden”, which will be released on September 6. What stands between us and total annihilation? Will humanity be able to unite to defeat the overpowering enemy? Will our civilization end? The eleven-track album will provide answers to these questions.

Chaos Path's roots lie in Nordic-influenced melodic black metal, which the band blends with the gruffness of German thrash to create a mixture that is innovative and groundbreaking. “The Last Sign Of Eden” playfully combines razor-sharp riffs, brute fury, progressive structures and highly melodic guitar work with the anthemic epicness of heavy metal and immediately bites its way into the ear canals.

First brand new album release on Golden Core Records, available on CD and vinyl; CD with impressive artwork and 16-page booklet, vinyl with included bonus 7'' and bonus track. This is the third and final part of the trilogy on the coming apocalypse with an impressive, intense and authentically honest production.
