VENOMOUS BREATH RELEASE "SVB VMBRA OCCVLTORVM"

The Brazilian four piece has their second album through an European release by Portuguese label, DOOMED RECORDS. «SVB VMBRA OCCVTORVM» originally released in November 2020, by Resistência Underground Distro & Prod, through all South America, now crosses the Atlantic and is spreaded across Europe.

Had some nostalgia about the early days of Sepultura and Sarcófago? Venomous Breath is the answer. Formed back in 2011, in Campina Grande, Brazil, the Old School Death Metal act got their influences from names such as Autopsy, Entombed, Death, among others.

In 2012, the demo «Deathearsal» was released, with four songs and a Cancer band cover «C.F.C.». After intensive touring, the band released their first record, titled, «Et Viscera Sanguis». The record came out in 2014, through Hell Productions, based in Thailand.

After some years touring South America, the band came to Europe in 2016, on the “Funeral Rites tour”. 2018 saw the band preparing the new album, which were delayed by pandemic, and only were released by the end of 2020. «SVB VMBRA OCCVTORVM» benefits from the band’s touring experience, mixed with the raw energy of old school death metal.

FROZEN BY FIRE RELEASE "IN MY SIGHTS" SINGLE AND VIDEO

Melodic heavy metal and hard rock band Frozen By Fire are about to release their new music video for the song In My Sights on YouTube. The song is from their upcoming 3rd studio album Dancing With Death. The song goes live on Wednesday Sept 22nd, 2021

The story of the video is about a stalker, and The Joblin plays the part menacingly, following the object of his desire, played by the very stunning Carae Schultz, through her every day life and she narrowly escapes on several occasions. When Joblin finally catches his prize, the real fun begins! A shock ending and a twisted sense of humor make this dark and sinister video a must watch for all Hard Rock and Metal Music fans.  

The musicians in the video are: The Joblin (Lead Vocals / Guitars), Ricky Pasket (Bass Guitar), Cody Cris who plays a blistering guitar solo and Leo McPherson makes a guest appearance on the drums.  

The music video was filmed mainly in Texas, USA, along with a few other locations. The song itself is reminiscent of classic Metal bands from the past, with a modern twist. It starts out with a very foreboding guitar line, followed by some heavy chords. The vocals begin very ominously as the lyrics describe the singer's infatuation with the girl of his dreams, only she doesn't know it yet! Once the chorus kicks in, it has a very catchy melody that will be stuck in your head as you sing along. The guitar solo boosts things into high gear with some shredding and tasty themes. The main riff is a play off of the intro riff, only heavier and accompanied by a drum groove that goes from slow and heavy to faster and flashy as it progresses through the part. Frozen By Fire was started in 2009 in Las Vegas NV, and have released two full length albums so far. They are in the process of releasing their 3rd full length album, and they are releasing several feature live action music videos for the upcoming album.

ZAQQOEM RELEASE "ANARCHIC RAPTURE OF WITHERING" EP

Sentient Ruin is proud to welcome Dutch abhorrent black/death metal legion Zaqqoem into our fold as we announce the tape and digital release of their annihilating new EP "Anarchic Rapture of Withering", scheduled for official release on September 17 2021 and available for full stream and pre-order now. Tapes come with a black raw uncoated stock j-card silkscreened with metallic silver ink and features artwork by Portuguese esoteric visual artist Belial Necroarts.

Zaqqoem emerge from the pits of hell with their bludgeoning sophomore EP "Anarchic Rapture of Withering", a harrowing sonic scourge evoking realms of darkness and terror of truly unprecedented traits. Spawned from a wretched dimension of total ruin and oblivion, the three-song, eleven-minute terrorscape combines the diabolical fury of blackened death metal legions like Lucifyre and Pseudgod with the abstract surrealism and erraticism of more experimental extreme metal anomalies like Portal to literally devour and crush the listener inside an inescapable auditory nightmare.

The Dutch black/death metal abomination was churned into existence in 2020 when long time collaborators and multi instrumentalists Zezax and Sha finally found the time to fulfill their mutual wish to write and release something together that would be abstract, devastating, and otherworldly. After essentially improvising their debut “Sacraccultus” EP within 24 hours, the duo identified their sound and vision and started to work on another slab of hate, which eventually found its form in the “Anarchic Rapture of Withering” EP, an annihilating maelstrom of evolved and abstract blackened death metal destruction spawned from the outer limits of complete oblivion and insanity. A few of decisive shared influences for the band that helped forge their inhumanly violent sound are Mayhem, Abruptum, Disgorge (US) and the unrivaled Decide album“Legion” . Further influences are mainly historical and/or religious, also evoking nightmares and visions in the lyrics and concept which make for a truly unsettling and ominous project. "In these times where humanity proves that intelligence has plateaud a long time ago, there is more reason for us to just spew instead of contemplate. Now that we know what it's like working on new music together, time will be taken to complete a full work of utter devastation, slated for a later release."

Heirs Of Isildur vs Tales From Nocturnia is the latest release from the content creation #DynamicDuo at Insymmetry Creations LLC. Most known for their forays into the comics world, with multiple titles to their credits in the independent market, Heirs Of Isildur vs Tales From Nocturnia again stretches their offerings into their other passion: METAL MUSIC.

The album contains songs that expand out on two of their comic titles (the steampunk time travel “Heirs Of Isildur” and the medieval fantasy “Tales From Nocturnia”).

While both of the “Heirs Of Isildur” and “Tales From Nocturnia” comics are co-written by Insymmetry Creations’ Matt Knowles and Steph Cannon, the musical side of HEIRS OF ISILDUR is the brainchild of Knowles, with Cannon filling a producer role.

Heirs Of Isildur vs Tales From Nocturnia features guest appearance by Fabio Grimdrap (Trollfest), Zac Leaser, Bryan Eckermann (Scars of the Flesh), Kyle Westin, and violinist Andrew Polo.

The album also features the final recorded tracks from original UNDEROATH guitarist Corey Steger. His tracks were recorded just 11 days prior to his untimely and tragic death in March of 2021. The album and associated comic issue "Heirs of Isildur - Nightmare Scenario" are dedicated to his memory.
