Between Two Fires, the new maxi-EP from Yevabog, is a heavy, aggressive, evil, yet melodic and beautiful album that loosely tells a story of possession. It is titled after the novel by Christopher Buehlman. The lyrics are largely an allegory for some of the evils in the world perpetrated under the name of god and what is “good”.

The album features drums by Robin Stone, guest vocals by M. Nihilist on the song 22 Disciples Of Hell and cover art by Felipe Froeder/ Arcano XV.

The "A Side" is a song originally recorded during the height of the pandemic in the Spring of 2020. The original guitar tracks, although very raw, were preserved to highlight this. The "B side" is an old GloryInDecay song that deserved new life in the IR catalog. It will be properly re-recorded down the road but this version is a remix of the original recording from 2005.

"The new EP from American/international obscure industrial metal project Isolant, and the band's first new release of original material in over seven years since their defining self-titled 2015 debut demo tape. Formed by original member Max Furst (Malleus, The Watcher, ex-Morne) on guitars, bass and drum programming, and now rounded out by vocalist M. Alagna (Abstracter, Atrament, Ash Prison, Somnolent) and Spanish noisemaker M. Souto (Suspiral, S.E.K.H., Arkaik Excruciation, Excurse, ex-Bodybag), "Drain" sees the elusive experimental metal act fuse the cold and bleak industrial metal of acts like Spine Wrench, Godflesh, Scorn ("Vae Solis" era) and Skin Chamber with the atonal percussive grimness of early Swans, and the crawling heaviness and abysmal atmospherics of death-doom.
