Pacifica is the second EP from Berlin based Progressive Metal band Across Oceans, following on from their debut Atlantica, which was released in December 2023.
The EP was produced by band member Joey Ryan, with Roman Andor Krotil responsible for mixing and Kevin Tuffy for mastering. Their expertise and collaboration has given the band's sound an exceptional depth and clarity that elevates "Pacifica" amongst modern metal productions.
Featuring their previously unreleased magnus opus Heptagon, a sprawling prog metal monster that spans over 7 minutes, and weaves its way around the listener with crushing riffs, soaring vocals, slap bass grooves and defining time signature changes, Pacifica is Across Oceans best statement to date, honing in and perfecting the sounds they first presented on Atlantica, a mere 5 months ago.
Across Oceans are a progressive metal band with death metal and metalcore influences, based out of Berlin, Germany.
