INCANTATION RELEASE "FURY´S MANIFESTO" OFFICIAL VIDEO

Pennsylvania death metal masters INCANTATION have just released the video for the new tracks "Fury´s Manifesto". The tune is part of the band´s new album "Sect of Vile Divinities" that will be released on August 21st through Relapse Records. As the label has stated: "  Death metal pioneers INCANTATION return with their highly anticipated new album, Sect of Vile Divinities.

For over 30 years INCANTATION  has consistently remained one of the underground's most influential and respected artists in the genre. True to form, Sect of Vile Divinities sees the legendary band adhering to the ways of the old school, unleashing twisted, mangled, and utterly disgusting Death Metal once again.

A pitch-black mix of unrelenting Death Metal and imposing Funeral Doom, each track on "Sect of Vile Divinities" is a dirge dedicated to different ancient evils across various cultures. At a point where the world's most vile converge, tracks such as "Propitiation" see the band's driving riffs and pummeling drums crush the very foundations of religious zealotry, while standouts such as "Entrails of the Hag Queen" and "Fury's Manifesto" champion no-frills Death Metal in its purest form. 

Three decades of Death Metal still the funeral procession carries on. With Sect of Vile Divinities, INCANTATION hail a return to form for the genre, and release one of 2020's most blasphemous and unforgiving titles.

DARK FUNERAL RELEASE QUARANTINE VIDEO OF "THE END OF HUMAN RACE"

Swedish black metal masters DARK FUNERAL have released a live quarantine video for the track "The End of Human Race". The tune is the opening track of their 2009 album "Angelus Exuro Pro Eternus" released through Regain Records. The band´s most recent release is the box set "25 Years of Satanic Symphonies" released in 2019 through Century Media Records. 

MOON STREAMS "SATURN EXERZITIUM" DEMO

Australian raw black doom metal band MOON are streaming their latest recording, the demo "Saturn Exerzitium" on their Bandcamp site. The demo was released independently last June and features two tracks: "Dirge from the Void" and "Dark Saturn". This demo is the first release to feature new music since the band´s 2015 album "Render of the Veils" (MOON also released in 2016 their demo "MMXII" featuring tracks originally recorded in 2012.

 

WAR RIPPER STREAMS "STRENGTH IN NUMBERS" EP

Portland Oregon, black thrash punk band WAR RIPPER are streaming their latest release, the "Strength in Numbers" EP, in their Bandcamp site (check below). The EP was released independently on July 3rd in digital format. HERXHEIM RELEASE "INCISED ARRIVAL"

Texan one man black death metal band HERXHEIM, featuring Brungard from GOLGOT and ex HOWLS OF EBB, will release the debut album "Incised Arrival" on July 17th. HERXHEIM has also released a demo, "Cultivating Throne of Fur" in 2019. "Incised Arrival" will be released on CD through I, Voidhanger Records  as a 6 panel digipack. ASCENDENCY RELEASE "BIRTH OF AN ETERNAL EMPIRE" EP

Danish death black metal band ASCENDENCY will release their new EP "Birth of an Eternal Empire" on July 17th. S.N.F. RE-RELEASE "ACTING LIKE A FOOL"

Chilean thrash metal band S.N.F. will see their demo "Acting Like a Fool" re-released on July 15th. The demo, originally released in 1989, was the band´s only recording before disbanding. "Acting Like a Fool" was remastered and will be re-released through Burning Coffing Records. The original version was recorded at 16 track Rec. Studios, between April and May 1989 and the 2020 edition was remastered by B.Barrantes and M.Ubeda at Necrotic Studios. The re-recording features the following tracks: 1. INNER AXIS RELEASE VIDEO FOR "RED DEAD"

The German heavy metal band INNER AXIS has released their new video "Red Dead". It is the fourth video taken from the album "WE LIVE BY THE STEEL" and was recorded at a supporting gig for Iced Earth. DROPS OF HEART RELEASE VIDEO FOR "ESCAPIST"

Russian melodic death metal band DROPS OF HEART have launched the official music video for "Escapist." The track comes off the band's upcoming new album "Stargazers". The video was filmed and edited by Alexander Becker, directed by Igor Chaban, and stars Anastasia Petruk. Check the video below. 

The band comments on "Escapist," which was previously released as a digital single: “'Escapist' is one of the most melancholic songs of the album, besides its high speed and powerful energy. This gloominess, untethered from the typical pacing that accompanies it, allows the song to capture a specific type of despair in unusual clarity. This song is about people who lose touch with reality in the pursuit of their dreams. It’s about some kind of a method of flight from life’s problems, and how sad it would be.”

The legacy of 1990s and 2000s metal pioneers is intertwined with modern genre trends, energetic riffs are complemented by cinematic synths, and loyalty to the band’s hallmark sound.
