This album is a live recording taken from our performance supporting Raised By Owls in The Cobblestones Bridgwater 18th October 2024

We are going to be donating all money from this release to Mind UNTIL 31st December. The reasoning behind this is because all members of the band have/ or have known someone who struggles with a mental health illness and we believe that with the correct care and attention Mind can save lives.

We would like to thank Tony Hagreen for recording, mixing and mastering this live performance, the staff at cobblestones for booking us and promoting us and finally Raised By Owls for having us be a part of the show.

“Celestial” is the second full-length album by Ukrainian Death Metal band Dying Grotesque.

The album was composed and recorded during 2020-2024 at Intermodulation Studio in Kyiv region. Released by Archivist Records on CDs and in digital format at all the main streaming platforms.

The sound and feeling of this album shows the evolution of the band’s authentic art style from the early days to the current moment, influenced by multiple line-up changes and the variety of conditions the band members were put through during the album’s production period.

The story behind “Celestial” depicts the violent absurdity and the grim futility of human existence, which appears to be completely insignificant comparing to the endless darkness of cosmic void and all the undiscovered mysteries it conceals.
