Ciemra, Belarusian for “Darkness”, is a Black Metal band from Minsk which came to life in 2019, when five essences emerged from the Abyss to the veils of night on the eve of the end times, in order to reap the living, to satisfy the hunger of Darkness and to nourish the wombs of the Dark Gods.
The Tread Of Darkness is based on the denial of the usual foundations of the world, on the darkest manifestations of human activity, and on energies hidden beyond the Dark Abyss. The nine songs of the album make no mystery of their anti-religiousness, which Ciemra turn into pure black matter.
Nature, in its primordial beauty and originality, also finds a place in The Thread Of Darkness, as there is where Ciemra find themselves at peace.
The Belarusian quintet delivers a fast-paced, cold and pure black metal which is looking at both the classic European sound and its more contemporary interpretations. You will find loads of riffs, as well as the odd solo and melodic hook, which will relentlessly drag you toward the Darkness.
For fans of Kreator, Sodom, Dissection, Bathory & Destruction.
DEADNIGHT was forged in the Chicago underground in 2003. With their ferocious old-school thrash riffing, screaming guitar solos and haunting atmosphere, DEADNIGHT’s blackened sound is truly unparalleled. Heavily influenced by Sodom, Kreator and Destruction, DEADNIGHT combines the intensity of old-school thrash metal with the atmosphere of Bathory and Dissection.
With the release of Messenger of Death in 2008 (Rotting Corpse Records), DEADNIGHT have established an international reputation as a powerful extreme metal band capable of displaying many diverse elements in their music. 2011 marked the release of their evolutionary effort, Riders of the Black Wind which was mastered by Andy Laroque (King Diamond) at Sonic Train Studios. In 2022, after an extended hiatus, Canon of Irreverence was Mastered by Dan Swanö at Unisound AB and unleashed upon the masses.
Throughout the past two decades, DEADNIGHT have performed at Central Illinois Metalfest (2008) toured the United States and shared the stage with Kreator, Exodus, Children of Bodom, Monstrosity, Brutal Truth and Belphegor.
“True metallic fury has been unleashed as Deadnight blasts forth with Messenger of Death, one of the most hammering, true METAL albums of the year.”
- SOD Magazine
“A no-frills approach that emphasizes razor sharp riffs, speedy gallops and conventional, yet skillfully written song structures goes a long way toward making the disc memorable and menacingly fun.”
- Metal Maniacs
“Riffs and leads soar like that of the mythical phoenix, barbarous rhythms resound from the bowels of hell, and inhumane vocals of the Dissection kind mutilate and eviscerate.”
-Bravewords & Bloody Knuckles

New York's SANHEDRIN have just debuted a new video from their current album, Lights On, that was released Worldwide last March through Metal Blade Records.
Comments SANHEDRIN singer Erica Stoltz: "I wrote the song about an archeological discovery in Russia late December 2019. A tomb was found with the skeletons of four Scythian women warriors aged 12 to 50. They had battle scars and were buried with weapons and horses. It was the best example of pre-Christian female identity I've ever seen. The song was my tribute to them, a way to bring their spirits into a new age, continue their story and show what women are able to do."
As for the video itself, it was animated and directed by Mike "Fox" Foxall, a dear friend from the band hailing from Australia. "We met Mike at the 2019 edition of Hell Over Hammaburg when our band and his (Neptune Power Federation) played together. We instantly hit it off as friends and so working with him for the video was an extension of our friendship. We feel the video captures the energy and themes of the song while also providing a unique visual look and narrative to the listening experience. RIDE OUT!!!"
SANHEDRIN are confirmed to play reknown German festivals "Hell Over Hammaburg" and "Keep It True" in the Spring and have just announced a full trek with none other than ROSS THE BOSS. With the release of the new album Andzjel, Heiden expands the perspectives of their audience base through dark, elegant and atmospherically authentic music. After 2 experimental rock albums, HEIDEN returns to the dark-metal expression and take it to the next level in their discography. Seven songs, thematically set in the inhospitable beauty of the White Carpathians, offer an insight into the souls of the local people, sharing the soil, blood, healing and knowledge passed down through generations. The phenomenon of Žítková goddesses, which the postwar totalitarian regime permanently eradicated.
Heiden started up in 2003 as Pagan black metal project founded by Kverd & Varnag. Along with the development of the line-up, the band's musical intention developed, and a gradual shift from black metal to post metal and post rock can be traced across the recordings. Completely different than most of the bands in the genres, HEIDEN solitary wanders accross the genres and inspirations.

Electric Valley Records presents heavy riffers Cancervo’s second full-length, II, scheduled for 27 January 2023 digitally and on multiple vinyl variations.
In 2020, three guys from San Giovanni Bianco, Bergamo, started their heavy rock group, charmed by the folktales, legends, and rich traditions associated with Cancervo, an iconic local mountain in the heart of a valley. The trio eventually named their band Cancervo as a tribute to the mountain.
Their 2021’s debut, simply titled I, represents local places and myths. A complete instrumental outing, the album dabbles in sedating psych, deserted stoner/doom, and preternatural prog.
II, the upcoming album continues Cancervo’s occult tales of their lands. In search of doom roots, the album takes more and more motivating forces from the early ’70s and passably abandons the psych moments of the first album. Unlike the first full-length, I, which was entirely instrumental, the upcoming album incorporates vocals on most tracks.
Join Cancervo’s fascinating tour to explore the local myths and scenic beauties.
