Rising from the frozen northern Midwest, modern metal force Visions of Terror have officially arrived with their debut EP The Dark Triad, now available via Arson Theory. The release is accompanied by a blistering new music video for the single “Phoenix Rising.”
Forged in a region where brutal winters and unforgiving terrain shape the character of those who endure them, Visions of Terror channel that same resilience and intensity into their sound. Blending the razor-sharp precision of melodic death metal with the crushing weight of modern metal, the band delivers a relentless sonic assault that fans of Revocation, Sylosis, and At The Gates will immediately appreciate.

Behind the kit, Spencer “Grizzly” Cole drives the band forward with thunderous drumming, while bassist and vocalist Josh Ballard locks in with a heavy groove and versatile vocal power. Veteran guitarist and vocalist Nicholas James brings relentless riffing and memorable lead work, complemented by guitarist Abraham Joseph, who injects modern aggression and inventive melodies to complete the quartet’s hard-hitting sound.
