Led by Dave Rotten (AVULSED) and Funëdeim (DEIMLER), FAMISHGOD's new offering, entitled "Rotting Ceremony" is again a concept album that closes the story trilogy created on their 2014 debut album, again composed of 7 chapters, mixed by Javi Félez at Moontower Studios in Barcelona, and in which this time, the guest guitarist is Vicente Payá (UNBOUNDED TERROR/ GOLGOTHA/ BIS·NTE) and displaying that heavy, dark, rotting and gloomy sounding Doom/ Death that will surely please any fan of bands like DISEMBOWELMENT, EVOKEN, RIPPIKOULU, MYTHIC, WINTER, OPHIS, INCANTATION...

Band comments:

We chose to cover "Uprising" by Muse because the lyrics embody everything we are about as a band pretty well. This song was actually the inspiration for us when we wrote "Not Anymore," the first track off of our debut EP. The Muse version is great, but we think we were able to add our own flair to the song and take it to the next level.

THOUGHTCRIME is a metal band from Denver, Colorado. Their debut EP released in 2021, showcasing an original sound and uncompromising lyricism in an era of corporate-backed artists and creative bankruptcy.

ÜLTRA RÄPTOR TO RELEASE "TYRANTS"

Canadian Speed/Heavy Metal band ÜLTRA RAPTÖR, has just signed a contract with Fighter Records for the release of their debut album that will be titled "Tyrants" which will be released next November 9th on CD, 12"LP, Cassette and Digital formats. To celebrate this signing, of which Fighter Records is especially excited, you can already enjoy the 1st advanced song, as well as the album cover and tracklist.

ÜLTRA RAPTÖR were formed in late 2015 and already in 2017, they released their first EP "Ültra Raptör" on a self-produced way, receiving good acceptance from the underground Heavy Metal scene. In late 2020, the band began recording their debut album "Tyrants", which was finished in early summer 2021 and immediately led to their signing with Fighter Records.

The style of ÜLTRA RAPTÖR, is a fast and intense Speed/ Heavy Metal, with influences from bands like SAVAGE GRACE, early RUNNING WILD, JUDAS PRIEST, RAGE, EXCITER, early ANGEL DUST, SAVATAGE... where the songs stand out for their cool catchy riffs and melodies, with excellent guitar solos, a relentless rhythmic base and a dynamic vocalist, creating a set of the great potential that will give a lot to talk about.

Following EP releases in 2018 (self-titled) and 2019 (Etemenanki), Oxymoron showcases the band's highest level of compositional strength and technical prowess to date. A most apt summation of the sound heard on Oxymoron is introspective death metal infused with technical riffs and obscure atmospheres.

The band released the following statement concerning the finer points of the forthcoming EP:

"Oxymoron is born as a concept about light and darkness’ dualism. It takes inspiration from myths, Talmud, and works of literature. In the heart of the EP we placed a 3-part endeavour, composed by the triptych Captatio Benevolentiae’, ‘Oxymoron,' and ‘Damnatio Memoriae,’ as inspired by John Milton’s Paradise Lost. This mini-concept deals with the relationship between God and Lucifer, their conflict and how each character is depicted by the original author, focusing on the anti-hero concept. 

The track ‘Oxymoron’ is actually the antipodes’ meeting point: God and Lucifer, Light and Darkness, Hero and Anti-Hero.

From a musical point of view the three-part concept can be experienced as a standalone and unique song, composed as a three-part climax, with the track ‘Oxymoron’ as a joining link, both musically and conceptually.

'Hidden in Consciousness' is a reflection about an alternative origin of mankind, inspired by Mesopotamian mythology. 

‘Serpent’s speech’ concerns Lucifer’s thoughts about his and mankind's condition, how they are deeply linked, one with the other, and actually being the same."

BIO:

Spiritual Deception was born in June 2016 from an idea of Mirko Frontini (guitar) and Luca Zanlorenzi (vocal) after the breakup of their previous band Humans Ablaze.

In a short time Gabriele Della Stua (bass) and Manuel Del Giudice (drums) joined the band to complete the line-up.

In 2019 Gabriele parted ways with the band and Riccardo Maccarana joined the line-up as an additional guitarist.

In 2020 Billy Repalam joined the band as a new bass player and Mirko Frontini became the main vocalist of the band, while keeping playing guitar, after Luca’s departure the same year.

'HUMANUFACTURE' will be the 4th studio album by the Polish industrial groove metal band TORTURE OF HYPOCRISY. The group just released an official video clip of the track 'TECH-ADDICT' which promotes the upcoming album. The release will be an essence of the band's ultra-modern style and sound compiled with mastery of tracks composition. The album will present the 7-string guitars mastership with groove drumming, concrete bass, challenging growls and screams, and a strong vibe of electronic ambiance inspired by video games such as Deus Ex series or Cyberpunk. ENDURE THE AFFLICTION is rounding off 2021 with a brand new EP Evolve, out October 15th. Embodying the hallmarks of melodic metal while embracing their Louisiana roots, ENDURE THE AFFLICTION delivers what can only be described as total Southern darkness as they bridge the divide between modern metalcore and classic power metal and American gothic.

The band comments: “The human condition is all about experience. What you go through will shape who you are. That’s an undisputed fact. Almost every track in this EP is about hitting a low point and figuring out how you’ll respond to it. If your experiences shape who you are, then how you respond is how you Evolve; this is part of the reason for the title of the EP. The rest of the reason for the title is our own evolution musically; this EP is so drastically different from our last one, yet still true to who we are. As time goes on, we as humans grow and evolve to become something greater than what came before. What is life if not a series of evolutions?”

Formed in late 2018, members Tim Keith (Lead Vocals), Deion Lanthier (Co-Lead Vocals/Guitar), Brett Dronet (Guitar), Byron Vollmer (Backup Vocals/Bass), Kyle Roberts (Drums) exploded onto their local Louisiana scene with the powerful, yet subtly emotional riffs and soaring vocals that define their sound. Overcoming hardship being their music's driving message, listeners find themselves relating to these musicians on a range of sensitive, but very real topics that many people struggle with daily.
