WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM RELEASE VISUALIZER FOR "SPIRIT OF LIGHTNING"

PRESS RELEASE:

Two decades into their journey as ritualistic black metal conjurers, WOLVES IN  THE THRONE ROOM have emerged from the forest with “Primordial Arcana”, their most majestic album to date, and the ir first release via Century Media Records (outside of USA and Canada) and Relapse Records (USA and Canada) out August 20th.

After releasing a first taste with “Mountain Magick” in June the band has just launched “Spirit of Lightning” including a special visualizer that is diving deeper  into the aesthetics of “Primordial Arcana”. Yet again the clip was was produced by WOLVES IN THE  THRONE ROOM:  https://youtu.be/IvuINAekJVI

The band comments on the song itself: “’Spirit of Lightning’ returns briefly to the earthly plane as a tribute to  the human connections forged in music. Metal is a community that’s bonded together through music and spirituality. This song is an homage to that community, that brotherhood and the virtues that can be espoused through it—going all the way back to  the progenitors of the genre.”

“Primordial Arcana” is the band’s first completely self-contained work: In addition to composition and performance, brothers Aaron and Nathan Weaver alongside guitarist Kody Keyworth handled all aspects of recording, producing and mixing at  their own Owl Lodge Studios in the woods of Washington state.

“Primordial Arcana” is out August 20 via Century Media Records outside of USA/Canada and available various formats. The first vinyl colours are sold out already, so don’t sleep on getting one.

SPIRIT ADRIFT RELEASE "FORGE YOUR FUTURE" EP

PRESS RELEASE:

Spirit Adrift - the new masters of heavy metal - are back.  Not even a year after their critically acclaimed album Enlightened In Eternity, Spirit Adrift have returned with yet another masterpiece: a 20 minute-long, three-track E.P. titled Forge Your Future. The E.P. will celebrate its release on August 27th. Spirit Adrift have premiered its title track on all streaming platforms.

Spirit Adrift guitarist/vocalist Nate Garrett  comments, " On March 1, 2020, I relocated to the woods outside of Austin, Texas. Two weeks later, everything was locked down. I turned to the thing that has helped me navigate difficult situations for most of my life: writing music. I wrote and demoed a ton of songs over the course of the pandemic. The songs on this E.P. are the best of the bunch. Marcus, Preston, and I recorded these in March of 2021 at Homewrecker Recording Studio with Ryan Bram at the helm.  Zeuss  handled mixing and mastering, after lengthy discussions about Martin Birch, Tom Allom, Crowbar, and how important it is to carry forth the essence and spirit of heavy metal. Special thanks to our friend Cody Davis for the brilliant title."  He continues, "These songs, and this band, represent persevering through difficult times, staying true to your innermost self, and celebrating the life-affirming power of metal. We can’t wait to see you all live and in the flesh, in the meantime we hope you enjoy the tunes."

Since their inception, Spirit Adrift  is much more than an obsession for Garrett.  It’s become a mission unto itself — a quest to re-cast the power and potential of melodic metal, doom and hard rock like the masters before him. Garrett's songwriting style teeters between vintage and modern, combining intelligent lyrics that provoke  spiritual and philosophical thought with bold hooks and gilded riffs.  With four albums behind Garrett and drummer Marcus Bryant, including 2020’s year-end chart-topper Enlightened In Eternity, Spirit Adrift have shown the world just what heavy metal can be.

On Forge Your Future, Garrett and Bryant are joined by Preston Bryant on synthesizers.  The group will be joined by Sonny DeCarlo on bass in live settings moving forward. With Ryan Bram engineering and the legendary producer Zeuss on mixing/mastering, Spirit Adrift   showcase their tightest songwriting yet.  The three luminous new tracks on Forge Your Future cement the band into the upper echelon of heavy music.

Forge Your Future will be available August 27th from Century Media on CD, vinyl and digital formats.

The conjuring of Hanz Krypt occurred in the beginning of 1983 In Torrance California , When founding members Mark Hayes and Dave Schlom (original drummer) replied to an add in Recycler magazine placed by Phil Pedretti, which read "lead guitar player looking for band". This lineup lasted 6 months until the direction that Hanz Krypt and the direction that John Cochran wanted to go was different. John preferring the newer speed thrash metal and Hanz Krypt who stayed true to their dark gloomy Black Sabbath roots. They parted ways with their friend John and he went on to form the L.A. thrash metal band Vermin along with Vince Ferrantino on Vocals. Larry Farkas was added to Hanz Krypt as a second guitar player and both bands went on to play shows together in the LA area . DISCONNECTED SOULS RELEASE "WARRING ELEMENTS"

PRESS RELEASE:

Disconnected Souls

Warring Elements

Self-Released

10 September 2021

Genre breaking metal outfit Disconnected Souls are re-releasing their debut EP ‘Warring Elements’ on CD, available worldwide.

“Disconnected Souls are happy to announce that we're doing a limited-edition re-release of debut EP 'Warring Elements'. We've been delighted and humbled in equal measure by the love and support which you've given us over the last year and couldn't be more thankful for this!” – Fletch

Disconnected Souls aimed to combine three great pillars of music – metal, classical and electronic. The outfit have evolved past this to combine further styles and genres including rap sections. From the epic synth intro ‘Emergence’, flowing into the ethereal ‘Divergence’, through the utterly heavy of the title track and softer ballad that is ‘Shatter’, the EP explores a wide spectrum of the band’s capabilities.

The seven track EP tells the story of two opposing forces as they battle with each other and attempt to make sense of the world around them. It isn’t a straight-forward as good versus evil, it is far more complex than that.

"A staggering debut" 5 stars ~ Planet Mosh

"It's not about the influences, but the way that the band puts them together into something more unique overall that makes them worth investigation. Their knack for experimentation really gives them an edge" ~ Dead Rhetoric

SAIL RELEASE "FLOOD"

PRESS RELEASE:

Sail

Flood

13 August 2021

Sludge metal savants Sail, emerging as one of the UK’s underground’s most talked about bands, are thrilled to announce their upcoming third single “Flood”. By combining sludge metal a la Torche, Baroness, and Mastodon, as well as punk and hardcore bands, pop and post-rock, Sail has created a robust sound laden with melodic hooks and huge riffs.

“Flood” marks a continuation of the band's growth. Guitarist & vocalist Tim Kazer Comments: I think sometimes it’s important to let yourself get carried away in the moment. To be swept up by emotion and totally lost in its thrall. Well not important but it’s fun. Capital F. Flood is fast, it’s angry, it's hard and wet and fun. What more could you want?

Formed in November 2016, members Charlie Dowzell: guitars & vocals; Tim Kazer: guitars & vocals; Kynan Scott: bass & vocals; and Tom Coles: drums came together to write tight songs. Fun and catchy, sad or triumphant or upbeat, they explore various moods and styles whilst keeping our sound anchored to the core Sail sound.

Garnering praise from the likes of Metal Injection, MetalSucks and Heavy Blog is Heavy, the quartet won over hordes of new followers with crushing choruses and enticing riffs, pitched perfectly between the drama and eclecticity of their influences. The band has continuously punched upwards, earning their place at Bloodstock 2021 and HRH Spring Break.

“Flood” will be released worldwide on August 13, 2021.
