In the spring of 2017 Oxidize was started. The goal was to find the people that wanted to work together, had the same taste of music, were friends and not totally unfamiliar with the music industry. It’s not easy to find them when you start to search in your head (network). But after a good nights sleep, the day after I (Per) quitted Arctic Void, I contacted Anton Darusso, the lead singer in the band Wings of Destiny/Darusso. I found Anton through Power Prog’s webpage. He was on the same record company that Arctic Void was signed to. I mailed him two demo songs and Anton Agreed to do them. So the singer was on board and now it was time to get in touch with the rest of the people that I thought about;
I called Niclas Karlsson, (lead guitar)(Crystal Eyes, Zonata, Fierce Conviction) I needed a guy who could bend strings and had an awesome technique. He have also a stage presence that’s good for live performances. He jumped on board and we started to work on the material. Drummer, Mika Vainio, (Mrs. Hippie, Hardcore superstar, Brassmonkey, etc.) a guy I learned to know a few years back through a photo sessions with Brassmonkey. Skilled drummer with a lot of qualities. He visited me in the studio and he also agreed to join up with Oxidize, so now was the band complete. :)
The band has also released a lyric video for the song "A Manual of Ways to Occupy Oneself While Waiting in Line for Limited," courtesy of Slam Worldwide. Check it out at: youtu.be/M3xJ27wkph8
"Eschews goregrind’s lyrical gore, slaughtering only in sound. The one-man band from Ripped to Shreds‘ Andrew Lee may SOUND like Carcass, Regurgitate and Mortician, but the only thing he’s dissecting is anime."
- Decibel
"Twenty minutes of having your face pulled off and fed back to you."
- The Razor's Edge
"Andrew Lee is a grindcore savant, and it shows in the quality of Houkago Grind Time. Beyond the novelty of it all, BAKYUNSIFIED (MOE TO THE GORE) delivers a pretty sweet platter of grinding goodness that fans of the genre will appreciate."
- Metal-Rules
"This is likely one of the most brutally wholesome albums ever to crawl out of the sausage grinder."
- Metal Storm
"A 20-minute shock to system that delivers a satisfying slab of utter brutality. You know, the kind that makes your hair stand on end, eyeballs melt and eardrums explode."
- Games, Brrraaains & A Head-Banging Life
Bakyunsified (Moe to the Gore) is available on 12" gatefold LP and digital format through Outrageous Weeb Power Productions (US), Grindfather Productions (UK), and Psychocontrol Recs (CZ). The album was recorded and mixed at Andrew's Weeb Dungeon studio, and mastered by Colin Marston at Menegroth, The Thousand Caves.
The official video for album track "Ruptured in Akkariin," courtesy of Goniloc YouTube Channel, is available now at: youtu.be/xGFLaSKdOOI
Bakyunsified (Moe to the Gore) is a love letter and a statement of devotion to Kyoto Animation's classic moe anime boom of the mid 2000s. Taking cues from K-On, a show full of friendship, growth, and positivity, Bakyunsified rejects the violence and hatred pervading the current state of the world, eschewing the genre conventions of blood, guts, and porn. In a short twenty minutes, HOUKAGO GRIND TIME celebrates the minutiae of otaku culture while simultaneously questioning the validity of substituting true interpersonal relationships for passive consumption of the simulacra of such. Punky Carcass riffs float over a bed of ultra fast blastbeats and dbeats, punctuated by bowel churning pitchshifted gurgles. Pillars of grindcore like Dave (PLF) and Leon (Impaled) contribute guest solos, and Colin Marston's dense mastering ensures that every second of every microsong suffocates the listener beneath a thousand heartwarming fluffs. In short: fuck you, it's anime goregrind.

Andrew met goremaster Harlan at a Fake Meat/RTS show in Taiwan of 2019, who invited him to play with Extremely Brutal at Antimusic Fest the same year. Adelaide based metal outfit Shatter Brain release a brand new music video for the song 'Choosing Beggars', fourth single and fourth song on their debut album 'Pitchfork Justice' out via Wormholedeath/Aural Music Group.
"Although the meat of the track is relatively short, the outro takes the listener on an epic, almost hypnotic journey as it fades out to end Side A of the record. The lyric video is part animated and part performance, and was assembled by Chalky Hill of Moshriff Creative. Chalky has done an excellent job of highlighting the album's incredible artwork, which was created by Adelaide-based artist Steve Lehmann. The performance footage was recorded by the band themselves during the brief COVID lockdown period in Adelaide earlier in 2020."

"“Pitchfork Justice” is a welcome reminder that in 2020 you can still have thrash metal that sounds fresh with just enough more modern elements" -Blessedaltarzine
Shatter Brain are an Adelaide based metal band comprised of members of some of South Australia’s most successful heavy bands. The band draws on an eclectic but coherent range of influences and seamlessly blends fast, razor-tight rhythms with laid back grooves. Their sound is reminiscent of its contemporaries, such as High on Fire, Merauder, Black Breath, and Power Trip, with the occasional nod to classic metal and crossover.
Shatter Brain launched in January 2018, releasing a four-song demo that was mastered by Joel Grind (Toxic Holocaust, Power Trip, Cavalera Conspiracy). In 2020 they released their debut album 'Pitchfork Justice' via Wormholedeath/Aural Music Group.

CRAWLING CHAOS was founded in Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. In January 2009, the band released its first home-recorded EP, "Goatsuckers". Even if the EP got many positive reviews by the metal media, it was just an appetizer mainly distributed for promotional purposes.
In the following years, the band plunged deep in the writing process of new music. In December 2012, the band recorded its first full-length, "Repellent Gastronomy", at Domination Studios. Produced and mixed by Simone Mularoni, the album was released on November 2013 via Memorial Records.
In the wake of "Repellent Gastronomy"’s great reception, a work praised by many international metal webzines, the band’s live activity took off: between 2013 and 2016, CRAWLING CHAOS played dozens of gigs all around Italy supporting international acts such as Suffocation, The Monolith Deatchult, Havok, Skeletonwitch, Hideous Divinity, Necrosy, Dark Lunacy and more.
In December 2019, the band re-entered the studio in order to record its second full-length, "XLIX", a concept album inspired by Machiavelli’s notorious book "The Prince". Once again, the record was mixed and produced by Simone Mularoni.
Watch for new details, singles and more news on other upcoming activities to be posted shortly.

about Winter Solstice:
“The album is a melting pot of influence.
You will hear the old school sounds of Norway, as well as sounds from the
Polish and Greek black metal scenes. Of course, you will hear furious blast
beats, icy riffs, and thunderous bass; but that is not all. I think the album
really showcases unique elements, and so each song is very different
experience.”
