Beyond the Catacombs are back with the follow-up to their highly regarded debut album Interstellar Burial! Hailing from Finland they play a mix of death metal not usually seen from the country. The band touches on sheer brutality but with a very technical and progressive death metal feel. While taking a lot of inspiration from the sci-fi horrors such as The Thing, and even Star Craft, it’s a band were finding that fine line between chaos and technicality is key. The second album the band dwells even deeper into the technical death metal aspect and you already see a lot of evolution from this young band, hoping to take another step in their yet early career. As a fun note the bands guitarist Ville Koskinen came in 3rd place on an Obscura (one of the most known technical death metal bands in the world) guitar contest for his great cover on a solo, showcasing his raw talent.

"Karnage is real! This is the first time we have the idea of producing something we want to show to the people. It’s a result of several months of composing all together with the desire to speak about humananity's condition and society who make almost every worst choice possible. But, we also see the force we have together, right in the Covid and quarantine period, we stayed focused on our project ,and we wrote an album we can be proud of."
