SUPERIOR RAGE RELEASE LYRIC VIDEO FOR "SOLERIGHT"

PRESS RELEASE:

Superior Rage continue their resurgence with the release of the new lyric video for “Soleright”, a striking symphonic black metal track that captures the spirit of rebirth, self-discovery, and transformation.

After returning in 2024 with Anthology, Superior Rage have shown no signs of slowing down. Reinforced by a lineup of talented session musicians, the project reopened its creative path by revisiting selected classics while introducing new material through the promo release Back to the Crypt and the EP In Memoriam, the latter released with the support of WormHoleDeath.

Now, as work progresses on the forthcoming full-length album, Superior Rage reveal the lyric video for “Soleright” — a key track featured across the project’s recent releases and a defining statement of this new artistic chapter.

“Soleright” is a symphonic black metal piece driven by a powerful and introspective message: an inner rebirth achieved by breaking free from false demons and moving toward knowledge, self-awareness, and personal growth.

“Phoenix, phoenix, you'll rise from your ashes. Soleright is waiting for you.”

SUPERIOR RAGE began in 2006, delivering raw black metal with atmospheric, dark, and symphonic tones. The core lineup features Superior Rage (vocals, synths), Pagan Fury (guitars, synths), and Hyemens Kaiser Tszar (bass).

The first demo (2008) earned strong national reviews, followed by Through Infinity (2010), a mix of unreleased tracks and new material. Between 2010 and 2011, the project released several live recordings with temporary session musicians.

In 2011, SUPERIOR RAGE shifted toward symphonic black metal with III. Two Fire Eternal EPs followed, covering classic black metal songs—first in their original style, then in an ambient approach.

In 2012 the lineup expanded, producing new online recordings, additional covers, and a remake of “The Night of Rains.” The project paused in 2014, briefly resurfacing in 2017 with a new version of “Indecent Condition.”

SUPERIOR RAGE returned in 2022 with the single Boobs Explosions. This led to Anthology, a 2024 collection of re-recorded key tracks, including a new prog-influenced take on “Cuore Sincero.”

In 2025, the promo Back to the Crypt introduced two re-recorded tracks and a new song, “Soleright,” with four session members. The EP In Memoriam followed, adding a new version of “Asmodeus Bacchic” and the unreleased “Death of the Red Dragon.”

The band went on hiatus in 2004, with members active in other projects including Hidden in the Fog, Throat Cut, and Psykra. They reunited in April 2017 with a revised line-up and released the 7-inch vinyl Wiederkehr in 2018. The MCD EXITUS XX (2020) concluded the band's earlier chapter and set the stage for Erneuerung, their most recent full-length.

MONACHOPSIS RELEASE ANIMATED LYRIC VIDEO FOR "LETTERS FROM THE DOOMSDAY VAULT"

PRESS RELEASE:

The UK's melodic tech death maestros, Monachopsis, are just a week away from unleashing their latest EP, The Carcass Choir - an incredible outpouring of supremely accomplished death and dexterity. But before The Carcass Choir begin to sing their threnodies from rotted throats Monachopsis have unveiled a new animated lyric video for the EP's second track - 'Letters From The Doomsday Vault'. Monachopsis guitarist Richard Allsopp reveals the inspirations and ideas behind this atmospheric and enthralling track...

"There’s a massive facility on the remote island of Svalbard that preserves seeds from all around the world in gene banks to provide security for the world’s food supply in case of war, disease, natural disaster or apocalyptic hellfire, hence the nickname ‘The Doomsday Vault’.

I find the whole concept of being stashed away from the rest of humanity with the potential to outlive the apocalypse fascinating and eerie. One day the image of a security guard at the facility writing postcards home to his family popped into my head and the lyrics for this track are what came out of that particular venture."

Head to the Monachopsis YouTube channel now and step into the vast, haunted chambers of 'Letters From The Doomsday Vault'!

Accompanied by the arresting artwork of Mohammed Hoirul (Flesh Remains etc) The Carcass Choir will raise thier voices in unending lamentation on November 21st.

MEZMERIZER RELEASE LYRIC VIDEO FOR "WHISPERS OF LEVIATHAN"

PRESS RELEASE:

MEZMERIZER Goes Full Prog in Lyric Video About the War Between the Woke and the Unawakened

Single: Whispers of Leviathan

Release Date: March 10, 2025

Location: Odense, Denmark

FFO: Nevermore, Devin Townsend, Artillery

Danish experimental metal band Mezmerizer is taking the global metal scene by storm with their latest release, Whispers of Leviathan , accompanied by a brand new lyric video that dives deep into the socio-political tensions of today. The band’s diverse fusion of prog metal, death metal, black metal, groove metal, and djent is now on full display, pushing boundaries both musically and lyrically.

Since their formation, Mezmerizer has captivated listeners worldwide, with over 4,000 Spotify streams before even completing their first interview. Much of this early attention is attributed to the band's frontman Michael Bastholm Dahl, known for his extensive touring experience with Danish thrash legends Artillery across Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Americas. However, the diverse backgrounds of the other members, including prog metal and death metal influences, have enabled the band to create a unique and genre-defying sound.

Released in late 2024, their debut album Whispers of Leviathan surprised both the band and their record label, Downfall Records, when fans gravitated towards the longer, more intricate tracks, such as the prog-metal-inspired "No Gain" and the virtuosic "Harbinger of Apeiron." Building on this momentum, Mezmerizer is now unveiling the lyric video for the title track, Whispers of Leviathan , a dark and twisted anthem that reflects the ongoing struggles within society.

Band composer Flemming Goldberg-Larsen explains: "Michael puts a lot of effort into the lyrics, and I hope metal journalists will ask him about them. He's a philosophy buff, and you’ll find references to Orwell’s 1984 and ancient philosophers throughout. While not a concept album, the lyrics speak to power struggles throughout history and the tensions of today’s society. We had many discussions about the events that have recently unfolded in our world—the assault on Capitol Hill, the Russia-Ukraine war, the Yellow Vests movement, and the growing divide between the 'woke' and 'unawakened' populations. This lyric video embodies those struggles.”

The lyric video for Whispers of Leviathan offers fans a visual journey through the band’s powerful commentary on the current state of the world, capturing the essence of a battle between societal factions. The video pairs perfectly with the song’s complex and aggressive composition, showcasing the band's musical versatility and philosophical depth.

Fans can look forward to a thought-provoking experience with this release as Mezmerizer pushes the envelope of modern metal and challenges listeners to engage with the realities of the world around them.
