One-man death metal project ROHAN is set to release the debut album ‘SUFFERING WITH A SMILE.’ The album’s eleven songs are both versatile and vicious, focusing on energetic drive, groove, and breakdowns. Copenhagen, Denmark based musician Thomas Berg formed this project with the goal of playing death metal that honors the variety of the genre’s many eras, from its primordial origins to more complex, modern compositions. ‘SUFFERING WITH A SMILE,’ is a strikingly dynamic offering of extreme metal that presents a macabre tapestry of punishment offered by the death metal genre over the years. Thomas’ catchy and brutal vocal lines add an addictive layer to the bludgeoning compositions.
