New York death metal giants, IMMOLATION, are proud to announce their latest immense creation, Acts Of God, which will be released February 18, 2022. The 11th studio album serves as the next chapter of IMMOLATION’s death metal epic. With 5 long years passed since Atonement, Acts Of God vigorously showcases IMMOLATION’s ability to consistently create fascinating sounds, while still keeping their feet firmly rooted in the old school, New York Death Metal for which they are renowned.

IMMOLATION vocalist / bassist Ross Dolan comments, "After 5 long years, we are very excited to finally announce the arrival of our 11th full-length album Acts of God on February 18th, 2022! This time around, we have 15 tracks of some of the darkest and most haunting Immolation material to date!  For the first single, we chose the song 'Apostle' because it's a very dark song that offers the listener all the elements of the IMMOLATION sound. It's a heavy and explosive track that ebbs and flows from start to finish, with dark and creepy soundscapes and extreme bursts of dark energy that will take the listener on a dark journey that is just a small glimpse of what the album has to offer. Acts Of God saw the return of long-time friend and recording counterpart Paul Orofino of Millbrook Studios (BLUE OYSTER CULT, BAD CO, GOLDEN EARRING) while final touches were brought about on the mixing and mastering by Zack Ohren of Castle Ultimate Studios. For the cover artwork, the band enlisted Eliran Kantor to create the haunting new masterpiece that featured the muted colors and ethereal images that are hallmarks for IMMOLATION's artwork. The artwork pieces Inside the booklet were created by Santiago Jaramillo of Triple Seis Design.

IMMOLATION will be kicking off their "Acts of God North American Tour 2022" on February 18th in Richmond, Virginia. The 24-date trek will make stops in Orlando, Seattle, and Montreal before concluding on March 19th at Irving Plaza in New York. Joining the band on tour are IMPERIAL TRIUMPHANT (2/18-3/13), MORTIFERUM (2/18-3/18), and BLACK ANVIL (3/15-3/19). The final hometown show will include performances by DEMOLITION HAMMER, MORTICIAN, FUNERAL LEECH. The complete list of dates can be seen below.

Before gearing back up to write on their new studio album for Metal Blade Records, and to have some fun during the pandemic vacuum, Sorcerer shows reverence to their musical heroes and influencers. On this list of respect there is of course no escaping Rock ‘n’ Roll Rebel Ozzy Osbourne! Sorcerer chose the final track of Ozzy‘s 1983 solo album Bark at the Moon – “Waiting for Darkness” – to be the fourth single and powerful finale of their four-track digital (only) EP Reverence.

The full cover EP Reverence is available now on all digital platforms.

In the previous months Sorcerer have already released acclaimed cover singles of Rainbow‘s classic “Gates Of Babylon“, Black Sabbath‘s “When Death Calls” and Saxon‘s epic “Crusader“.

In anticipation of things to come in 2022, sludgy UK post-metal heavyweights CONJURER are drawing the curtain over yet another frustrating year for live music by releasing a video for the monumental and devastating track "Thankless" from their full length "Mire". The clip features a collage of frenetic live footage recorded at different festival and club shows, as well as some backstage impressions, and gives you a hint of what you can expect from CONJURER's eagerly-awaited return to European stages in 2022, which will include a couple of bigger festivals as well as a tour with French blackened post-metallers CELESTE!

"We've rearranged and re-recorded a medley of two songs off the BLUTSABBATH album [1997] as a promotional single for the re-release of our first two full-length LPs due 14th January 2022 in double CD and single LP formats. Florian Klein, aka Torturer, tracked the drums, and the “BLACKEST SABBATH 1997” was mixed & mastered at Jens Bogren´s Fascination Street studios in Örebro, Sweden. It was a thrilling experiment to re-record this song I wrote in 1996 with a new soundwall, our current skills and recording capabilities 25 years later. We hail you demons, enjoy this special offering from us!"

DEAD HEAD RELEASE NEW TRACK "ACOLYTE"

Dead Head’s first single from the upcoming 2022 album marks the return of singer/bassist Ralph de Boer, also known as frontman from Dutch Death Metal band Bodyfarm. Ralph previously made the album “Depression Tank” with Dead Head. Audio and video production by Erwin Hermsen at Toneshed Recording Studio.

The raging, savage, heavy yet scything hyperfast guitar riffs are so crammed with maliciousness that you instantly realise that Slayer have in all reality been effectively dead for years. The vocals which easily rival any Thrash band in history for delivering snarling savage hatred, should show Kreator what they have been incapable of producing since Pleasure to Kill. The fast cannon like drumming is unrepentant, and forms a perfect malevolent percussive backing for this brutal aural bashing. The mix is just as professional as you could want from a Thrash album, the guitar tone is crunchy and vocals are just right: spitting hatred and virtue in the same breath.
