Heavy metal inspired by an internal need to slam accepted dogma and to shed light on a dark past that is largely forgotten, Blood Libel is the genuine article! Metal, thrash, melody, and at times, depressive introspection, add up to a memorable gut-punch of an EP.

"The trick is that they are meant to be a traditional heavy metal act, but the death metal history makes its way into the actual music itself, thus creating something that could be heavy/death metal? Blood Libel is a quick taste of something stellar in the making."

- Sleep Village Reviews

Track List:

1. The Man Who Could Not Sleep

2. Host Desecration

3. Deluded Hordes

4. Blood Libel (A Vampire Tale)

The EP was produced and mastered by Kevin Hahn (Dead Conspiracy, Poison Idea, Panzer God, Paul Gilbert).

ELECTROMANCY RELEASE "ROBOT BLACK METAL"

PRESS RELEASE:

Composed by human, played by physical robots. In 2018 Satyra was diagnosed with Lyme disease, and quickly became too disable to play instruments anymore. Instead of giving up, they spent the next two years slowly building robots to play instruments for them. The result is Electromancy, the robot metal band. Guitars and drums are played by Satyra’s own DIY robotic designs; their bandmates are manikins, cut up into LED fueled lightshows.

Electromancy’s music is primarily black metal with bits of death metal and experimentalism. The robots aren’t a gimmick, they are core to the sound, allowing textures, patterns, and compositions that are not natural to and sometimes not possible for a human musician. Some of these compositional eccentricities include phasing multiple rhythmic melodies on a single instrument and simply extremely fast and chaotic composition. In addition to the robots, Satyra fills the bass frequencies with a  drone horn made from a modified PVC pipe (the resulting instrument is similar to but not quite the same as a didgeridoo). This full, enveloping bass sound creates a grounded floor for the otherwise chaotic music.

Electromancy’s lyrical themes largely revolve around Satyra’s struggle with physical disability, the uncertainty of their lifespan with chronic illness, and the spiritual experiences brought on from facing human fragility & mortality so directly (often with surprisingly uplifting conclusions). These musical themes paired with the robotic instrumentation and the story of why this all came to be creates a profoundly raw and unique experience.

DEAD TREE SEEDS RELEASE "WAILING WALL" VIDEO

PRESS RELEASE:

French Thrash Metal band DEAD TREE SEEDS presents their new video "Wailing Wall" from their album "Push the Button". This song deals with a story inspired by real facts whose compassion and humanity are approached. This song is about a man who born in disputed land. Before his people cry on an ancient holy wall, and now after a long war, they cry along a “shameful separation wall”.

From the ashes of the Thrash TRIAKANTHOS project, Nico and Alex decided in 2009 to continue the adventure, and completed a line-up by finding Franck on guitar, Tom on bass and Alban "Shamane" on vocals.

The foundations of a solid band resolutely oriented towards old-school thrash are laid.

The band makes its first concerts in very modest rooms but keeps a steady rhythm. The arrival of Pierre to replace Franck gives a more technical and ambitious direction to the sound, without leaving aside the brutal violence and they continue to scour the halls of the Paris region (in particular the Bastille Stage) with a few dates in the south of France.

The style becomes more complex, going from a thrash inspired by the great classics of Metallica or Megadeth and Slayer, to the most violent fringe of the first Kreator or Sepultura, passing by some more groovy forays like Testament or Pantera.

Finally in April 2013 the 1st album of Dead Tree Seeds (Seeds of Thrash) is released.

Following this album, Pierre and Tom decide to leave the band to devote themselves to other projects, both musical and family.

2014, Aurelien (guitar) and sidi (bass) joined the band, followed by numerous concerts almost everywhere in France with in particular the first part of Angelus Apatrida

2016 marks yet another change following the departure of Alban in Germany and that of Nico for musical differences.

Dead Tree Seeds continues its journey and composes 8 songs in order to prepare the recording of the 2nd album in line with the first.

At the end of 2017 Ivanne on guitar and at the start of 2018 Frank Vortex on vocals joined the band with directly 3 concerts in 2018 including the first parts of no return, Mercyless, Insanity Alert ...

In early 2019, Ivanne left the band for professional reasons and was replaced in the process by Francois.

April 2020, the group signs with the Music Records label for the release of the 2nd album "Push the Button" scheduled for July 2020 (digital) and October 2020 (physical).

VARANAK RELEASE "RELICS OF MOURNING" EP

PRESS RELEASE:

Hailing from New Jersey, Blackened Doom project VARANAK will release their debut album “Relics of Mourning” on the 19th of March via Brucia Records.

A monstrously heavy and bitterly melancholic achievement originally self released digitally in November 2020, which we are now excited to release in double CD 8 panels digisleeve, with two bonus tracks.

“Relics of Mourning” is a terrifyingly dark and ominous release, skillfully combining the heaviness of Funeral Doom with the rawness and feel of Depressive Black Metal.

Thematically approaching depression and sadness but with a palpable gothic imagery and symbolism,  the opus is a profoundly meditative and introspective glimpse into the caducity of life and the persistence of pain and suffering therein.

“The amaranth dies ‘neath the frozen soil - And burst up a bouquet of aconites and marigolds”
