Done In was spawned when vocalist Curtis Robinson (Wraiths, Climate of Fear) and Guitarist Joe Clements (Dead Moon Lizard Kings, Hellbound) joined forces with the sole intention of creating something morbid and destructive.

Soon after they were joined by bassist Dale Husband (Wraiths, Sorry Escalator), drummer Thomas Clarke (Old Selves, Pariah) and guitarist Luke Thomson. After releasing their debut EP and single, both entitled ‘Senseless’, in October 2022 the group began work on bringing their primitive blend of Dark Hardcore and Death Metal to the unsuspecting masses.

The new masterpiece from the Finnish powerhouse LOST SOCIETY , If The Sky Came Down, has finally been released today via Nuclear Blast Records.

Frontman Samy Elbanna comments:

“We wanted something haunting, yet beautiful for the video of “Awake”. Us together with the amazing Joona Mäki wanted to capture the intensity and the frailty of the lyric, mixed with the powerful nature of the music - and I feel like we nailed it. The song is all about serenity in the destruction of something old and the creation of something new, and having the band in such a “stripped down” setting really brings that through.”

He continues about the song:

“It’s so easy to believe that once you spiral out of control, the only thing left is to hit rock bottom and never get up; but in fact, very often you just have to face that painful low in order for something new and beautiful to come to life. That’s what “Awake” is all about - the beauty in rebirth, and rising from what you were sure would be the death of hope.

SABATON RELEASE NEW EP "WEAPONS OF THE MODERN AGE"

Metal heroes SABATON make an exciting announcement: With their fascination for the stories of World War I and two dedicated studio albums filled to the brim with stories from this conflict, the band from Falun have decided to dive even deeper into this topic with their newest release: The EP trilogy entitled Echoes Of The Great War. This new EP trilogy features new songs specifically about World War I, coupled with topically related catalogue music. You read that right! SABATON has been busy in the studio recording some new music for their fans.

With this WWI collection, the band aims to present this music in a different way, enabling the listener to familiarise themselves with these incredible war stories, while simultaneously quenching the thirst for metal music.

Commenting on the new project, Pär Sundström states:

“This trilogy complements our two studio albums The Great War and The War To End All Wars. We were definitely not ready to close our World War I chapter. We wanted to continue the journey and let it echo a little longer in the hearts and minds of our fans."

The first in the series, Weapons Of The Modern Age, is OUT NOW. In times of conflict, science is very much linked to the war system. The First World War witnessed some of the biggest leaps in scientific evolution, weaponizing land, sea and skies in ways never witnessed before. This EP sheds light on the powerful and devastating tactics used to fight the war, and kicking off this release is SABATON's new track, 'Father'. 

Sharing his insight on the track, Joakim Broden declares:

“Our new song 'Father' is a dark track about a very controversial person. Fritz Haber, the man who weaponized lethal gas, is responsible for about 4 billion people being alive today thanks to the Haber-Bosch process that he won a Nobel Prize for. It takes some serious thought to wrap your head around his story. Things aren’t always easy to understand or simply black and white, but rather all shades of grey. 'Father' really forces you to think a bit more than the average song you hear on the radio."

Heroes Of The Great War

The songs on the second EP in the collection, Heroes Of The Great War, are a nod to some of the Great War’s fearless heroes who left a legacy worthy of a thousand songs. Men and women pushed themselves to their physical and psychological limits, accomplishing almost superhuman things. In this EP, SABATON pay tribute to heroes whose unique stories resonated with the band, and whose narratives are truly inspiring. 

Stories From The Western Front 

The third EP in the series, Stories From The Western Front, features songs about some of the most gripping tales from one of World War I’s main theatres of war. These stories, some of which are unimaginable in this day and age, depict the chaos, danger and instability soldiers faced on the daily, who were fighting in the name of their countries.

For the sake of atmospheric continuity, and staying true to the sound of both The Great War and The War To End All Wars albums, SABATON have continued to work with Black Lounge Studios – more notably, Jonas Kjellgren, the band's long time producer and recording engineer.

The three new EP releases will be available on all major digital music services. SABATON will also release an exclusive, limited edition Digipak with every EP. 

A few weeks ago, SABATON announced their very first full length movie The War To End All Wars that the band has been working on for two years together with Yarnhub animation studios.  The War To End All Wars is a cohesive, thought-provoking and emotionally charged piece with a heavy focus on storytelling. It features members of the band, both in real life and animated, and a lot of research and effort has been put into it to ensure it depicts history in the most accurate way possible – this is something that the band is very passionate about.

As a room's confining embrace, Kamra grabs and plunges you in a world of allegories, ruminations and imagery with their upcoming debut Cerebral Alchemy. There is no shortage of uneasiness intertwined with familiarity through sounds of those who came before and left their whispers for this five-piece to interpret in a disturbing, brutal, unnerving, beautiful and even caring way.

There is a black metal atmosphere with a kick of old school death metal, while the vocals leave one questioning the genres. As such Kamra is still veiled and secretive, as it is not exactly known who the members are.

What is known is that Kamra resides in Slovenia and has released their EP as a two-piece. Presently, they consist of five people who strive to create a bond between chaos and sound. The concoction that was being prepared in the past year is now visually presented by Jeff Christensen and ready to be unveiled.
