PARADISE LOST RELEASE LIVE VIDEO FOR "AS I DIE"

PRESS RELEASE:

Tired of sunshine, singing birds and all these smiling people around? Good.

PARADISE LOST have just the right amount of misery and grimness at hand for you and are ready to release the testimony of last year's intimate streaming event "At The Mill" today, to herald this year's autumn.

Captured at The Mill Nightclub near the band’s hometown in Yorkshire, England, the recording of the BluRay was directed by Ash Pears, mixed by Les Smith and mastered by Jaime Gomez Arellano, and unites the band's greatest songs of the past 30 years in one show.

Available as CD, Blu-Ray and several vinyl colours of which the limited editions are mostly sold out already, "At The Mill" can be ordered, downloaded or streamed via this link: https://bfan.link/paradiselost-atthemill.ema

As final appetizer from the show, PARADISE LOST unveil the live video of their legendary hit 'As I Die' and guitarist and songwriter Greg Mackintosh comments: "This song is almost 30 years old and its popularity amongst our fans, old and new, still amazes us. It marked a turning point in our career and if you missed it, here it is played live at The Mill."

BLOOD RED THRONE TO RELEASE "IMPERIAL CONGREGATION"

PRESS RELEASE:

Norwegian death metal vets BLOOD RED THRONE will release their 10th album, "Imperial Congregation", on October 8th with Nuclear Blast. Today, the band has released a lyric video for a vicious new single titled 'Itika'.

STREAM "ITIKA": http://nblast.de/BRTImperial

Founding guitarist Daniel Olaisen says of the track: "'Itika' was one of the first songs I wrote for this album and it's heavy as fuck. Some real cool rhythm stuff going on and somewhat futuristic leads. 'Itika' stands out on the album as a more fictional love song. Some necrophile dude, longing to get the sexy corpse, which keeps ignoring him. He wishes he was good enough, or dead enough, to get her in the end."

"Imperial Congregation" Tracklisting:

1. Imperial Congregation

2. Itika

3. Conquered Malevolence

4. Transparent Existence

5. Inferior Elegance

6. We All Bleed

7. 6-7

9. Consumed Illusion

10. Hero-Antics

11. Zarathurstra

With over 25 years and 10 albums soon to be under their belt, BLOOD RED THRONE is dedicated to the continual delivery of straight forward, exceptional death metal with "Imperial Congregation" being no exception. “This time around we’ve made something new and fresh in our sound. We felt it from the very first song that was written; this will take us to a whole different level in terms of arrangements, riffs, vocals... everything. We are super-excited to share this with our fans, and in cooperation with the greatest label ever,” says Olaisen.

"Imperial Congregation" delivers quality, old school sound while reflecting in part upon the self righteous nature of humanity and its incessant need to destroy itself through power, ignorance and religion. “We live outside this system,” explains Olaisen. “We don’t join in on the sheep mentality. Create your own possibilities, be responsible for your own misery or success!”

The haunting, organic album artwork was designed by the infamous Marcelo Vasco. The image displays a flock of old, religious men as they meet in secrecy to design the laws of lower society. “Many of our lyrics deal with our skepticism of religion, and of mankind in general. Be free or be dead,” says Olaisen. "Two gigantic skeletons tower over the men of worship as they dictate human fate by candlelight."

TEMPLE OF DREAD TO RELEASE "HADES UNLEASHED"

PRESS RELEASE:

Testimony Records proudly presents the Cover Artwork, Album Title & Release Date for Temple Of Dread's upcoming 3rd Studio Album.

The album is entitled "Hades Unleashed" and will be released worldwide via Testimony Records on July 23rd 2021 on Vinyl, CD & Digital.

After the previous albums "Blood Craving Mantras" and "World Sacrifice", which were highly anticipated by critics and fans, Temple of Dread complete their opening triple with the new hateful chunk "Hades Unleashed". The album will be released with nine brand-new songs on July 23rd 2021 via Testimony Records. The band’s third album was of course recorded and produced once again by the band’s drummer Jörg Uken in his Soundlodge-Studio in Rhauderfehn, Germany.

“Despite the two extremely strong previous albums, we managed to pack a few more bits on top! “Hades Unleashed” definitely contains our strongest material so far”, says Markus Bünnemeyer, guitarist of the North German Death Metallers. “The album keeps what our name promises - even if we experiment more within the genre boundaries than on the previous albums. We have written the fastest songs of our career so far and slowed down the pace significantly on some of the other songs. All in all, the listener gets a fat piece of Old-School Death Metal, seasoned with a good portion of eighties thrash."

The lyrics, once again written by band friend Frank Albers, deal conceptually with ancient, mainly Greek, myths. The congenial cover artwork was designed by the Italian artist Paolo Girardi and perfectly reflects the mood of the album.

The Cover Artwork was done by the one and only Mr. Paolo Girardi.

The 1st Single "Wrath of the Gods" was released on May 21st... simultaneously with the Pre-Sale Start.

SLITHERING DECAY RELEASE "AEONS UNTOLD"

PRESS RELEASE:

From the gruesome depths in which they mercilessly rule, the ancient gods of the merciless HM2 buzz saw cult summoned fresh disciples to serve their cause.

Niko (ex-TYRANT’S KALL), Jörgen (THEUDHO), Bart (ex-FLESHMOULD, ex-STORM UPON THE MASSES) and Tomas (HUMAN VIVISECTION, ex-FRACTURED INSANITY, ex-STORM UPON THE MASSES) answered that infernal call in 2017, crafting frantic hymns based on barbarous riffing, chaotic soloing and ferocious hammering under the moniker of SLITHERING DECAY.

In March 2018, they committed four of their twisted concoctions to tape and unleashed them upon the realm of mortals in the form a cassette demo, highly appropriately yet fabulously apathetically entitled DEMO 2018. The fifty black cassettes quickly found their way to all corners of the earth, while digital copies were left to quench the blood thirst of new devotees.

In the meanwhile, more disharmonious pieces were conjured from the nameless abyss. Once again engineered, recorded and mixed by the band themselves, ten wretched pieces were gathered for their debut album AEONS UNTOLD.

The equally appropriately and apathetically entitled PROMO 2020 was sent out to a number of possible partners in crime for a potential release of the debut album. The infamous TESTIMONY RECORDS answered the call.

AEONS UNTOLD received a final sonic boost through a master by DAN SWANÖ (of EDGE OF SANITY fame). The sinister cover art by WESLEY DEWANCKEL (TYRANT’S KALL, UNMENSCH,…) outstandingly captures the atmosphere of the madness captured on the record.

Tracklist:

1.Metaphysical Iconoclasm 05:10

2.Bloodstained Tears 03:26

3.Orgy of Flesh 03:51

4.Embedded in Hollowness 02:38

8.Resurrected in Chaos 02:48

9.Doomsday Prayer 04:39

10.Blood Unforeseen 04:10

PORTRAIT TO RELEASE "AT ONE WITH NONE" + VIDEO FOR "PHANTOM FATHOMER"

PRESS RELEASE:

On September 3rd, Portrait will release their new album, At One with None, via Metal Blade Records. For a first preview of At One with None, a video for the new single “Phantom Fathomer” can be viewed at: metalblade.com/portrait – where the record can also be pre-ordered in the following formats:

- gold vinyl (EU exclusive – limited to 300 copies)

- silver vinyl (EU exclusive – limited to 200 copies)

- red w/ black dust vinyl (EU exclusive – limited to 200 copies)

When it comes to modern heavy metal, there are few bands operating at the same level as Portrait. For a decade and a half, the Swedish unit have been forging their own path, and in the process, infusing life into a longstanding, well-established genre and taking it in new directions. Following up 2017′s acclaimed Burn The World, they return with the mighty At One With None, which was recorded at JFK Studios in Kristianstad, Sweden with Tommy Hansen (Helloween, Hatesphere) handling the mixing. While Portrait fans will immediately recognize it as the work of their heroes, they are not simply rehashing old ideas and treading where they have before. “One simple ‘rule’ that I have had personally is that no song written for this album and onwards should be similar to any song that we have already written and released. We have been doing this for 15 years now, and I am proud to say that I think we have managed to find our own identity and sound, which can’t really be said about that many bands today. This is our greatest achievement, and the goal is to keep exploring and developing our own sound, without repeating ourselves.” The results of working with this philosophy are undeniable, making for an essential addition to the Portrait canon.

UNDER THE OAK RELEASE "RIPPED UP BY THE ROOTS"

PRESS RELEASE:

The inception of UNDER THE OAK took place during the not too distant past. Initially it was just about friends coming together to honour our Speed and Thrash Metal heroes from the eighties, and we fashioned ourselves being a tribute band of that era. We rehearsed songs from Exodus, Testament, Flotsam & Jetsam, Candlemass and so on, until we had a respectable set. We played some shows doing only covers, but as we were progressing, the thrash-riffs also started turning up.

Suddenly we had a bundle of our owns songs and we started putting a few UNDER THE OAK-originals into the shows. The result of this is the album RIPPED UP BY THE ROOTS, consisting of 10 original songs and 2 cover songs. Make no mistake, WE ARE STILL A TRIBUTE BAND and will continue paying homage to the eighties, but we will do so both through our own material and through cover songs. A regular UNDER THE OAK show will be a mixture of this, but still weighing heavily on the cover material. So far, we’ve concentrated on American stuff, for some reason, but now we’ve focused a bit on Germany and there will be many surprises in the upcoming UNDER THE OAK-shows

Tracklist:

1. Tribulation

2. Chaos in the Pit

3. Hymn for the Fallen

4. The Fountain

5. War of Attrition

6. Total Human Destruction

7. Turned Into Leaves

8. Wrath of Nature

9. Butterflies & Unicorns

10. Terror & Violence

11. Solitude (Candlemass Cover)

12. Pounding Metal (Exciter Cover)

Line-up:

Jostein – vocals; Marius – drums; Hillbilly Bill – Bass; Bolverk - Guitar
