Coure receives its name from the metal copper- /CU/ -and from the latin term Cuprum. In ancient times, copper was valued for its malleability and heat transmission, and currently it is valuable for its energy conduction capabilities.

Coure's music is also malleable and ever changing, though without losing its driving essence, just like said metal. The band's personality entails the entangling of Metal structures with Progressive parts where both trumpet and saxophone replace the vocals and create atmospheres closer to Free jazz and improvisation.

This album is our first studio recording with the full band, we've added a bass sax to the original line-up, he is driving us into an exciting lost highway towards a post-apocalyptic dystopian future, full of crowded cities with noise and nonsense, people who live underground in search of metal, in their solitude invoke ancient gods that never come.

It's the fruit of the curse that began in 2020 and plunged us more into slavery, in this album there is concentrated a part of darkness that we have suffered since then.

It is an inverted prayer to the ancient gods that few pay attention to.

We are not believers. Pray with us and enjoy the journey!

Meroth, initially a one-man project from Wetteren, Belgium, collected six songs on two tapes in 1997, spread among friends & contacts. 25 years seemed a good opportunity to re-record some of these tracks. Vocals and drums were re-recorded at LQW's NecroGarage for three tracks whose original guitar lines were kept on tape.

This release features RW on guitars / vocals and LQW (Alkerdeel) on drums.

DISADAPTIVE is a powerful old school death metal with melodic thrash-metal elements. Brutality and rush of AUTOPSY and BOLT THROWER, technical heaviness and straight of DEATH and CANCER. Sound of DISADAPTIVE is a mixing of Swedish and American styles of death metal, which is breaking down with tight guitars, impetuous temp and unexpectable composition decisions.

Sergey Naydenov: "This time we decided to take a different approach to the process of recording material. The decision was made to minimize studio operations: for the guitar and bass, reamping of a previously recorded clean signal was used. Vocals were recorded at Pentagram House Studios in April, while the instrumental portion of the album was recorded between February and March 2022. One track, "Missionaria Protectiva", was taken from the previous release, the rest of the tracks were previously unreleased. Each song has its own separate lyrical component, in general, the range of topics is quite wide: somewhere there are references to operations on the western front of the Second World War, I'm talking about “A Silent Dawn”, and somewhere we are talking about space anomalies like the Eridani Supervoid, it's about "No Light from God". There are also references to literary sources, for example, the lyric part of "Crafted Abominations" is based on a short story by Guy De Maupassant "The Mother of Freaks", some of the lyrics have references to Orwell in "The Rifle Logic".
