On August 16th, 1990, death metal masters CANNIBAL CORPSE released their debut album "Eaten Back to Life". The band had already released their self titled demo in 1989 with classic tunes like "A Skull Full of Maggots", "Put Them to Death" and "Bloody Chunks" and then entered the classic Morrisound Studios in Tampa, Florida to record their debut death metal jewel. The album was released through Metal Blade Records that at the time was starting to explore the most extreme genres in metal. Seasoned technical melodic death metal favorites INFERI are proud to announce their upcoming EP, Of Sunless Realms. The 5-song effort will be released on October 9th via The Artisan Era. It is the follow up to the group's 2019 re-worked prior album, The End of an Era | Rebirth, and the next step in the group's continual evolution following their beloved 2018 full-length, Revenant.
After blowing up worldwide upon the 2014 release of The Path of Apotheosis, INFERI has been on a relentless tear, not only dropping two releases since then but touring non-stop as well. During which time the group toured across the USA, Canada, and Europe with high-profile acts such as Obscura, Archspire, Beneath The Massacre, Paladin, Exist, Rivers of Nihil, Wormhole, Virvum, Warforged, and countless others.
Now in 2020, with touring having ground to a halt due to COVID-19, the band was able to focus on finishing their next offering of top-notch material which became Of Sunless Realms. Of Sunless Realms continues the band's well-established sound steeped in catchy melodies, orchestral grandeur, and high-octane aggression, delivered in a bombastic and elegant way all their own. The stunning cover artwork for Of Sunless Realms was handled once again by the well-known fantasy artist Helge C. Balzer.

SADISTIC EMBODIMENT has released 3 EPs so far, and are pleased to add this new full length to their discography. They share what listeners can expect from the album:
“’Blood Spell’ will pique our fans interest. They will tell that we have grown in depth and complexity while maintaining simple and heavy death metal passages. "Sharpen Your Spikes" was recorded between their own rehearsal room (drums and vocals), and bassist Javi Bastard's Moontower Studios, in order to return to that dirty and aggressive sound that they lost in their previous album while in search of better production. MONSTERWORKS Returns with New Album Malignment on October 2
London (UK) - Prolific Super Metal Force MONSTERWORKS will release new album Malignment October 2 on Eat Lead and Die Music. Opening track "Impending Doom" is streaming now at this location.
After over a decade producing material based on various existential themes, Malignment returns MONSTERWORKS to the storyline created for the metal space adventure concept albums Spacial Operations (2007) and Singularity (2009). Malignment serves as both a prequel and sequel where the strikeship Magma Maiden, having disappeared with her pilot Nate during the Blastnet offensive (a major event in the Singularity album), crash lands in the Eritrean mountains of a near-future Earth. Nate is mortally wounded and his only hope of survival is to be fused with the ship’s A.I.. The procedure is successful but permanently affects the young man’s perception of reality. Now alone and with no means of return to his friends and family, two hundred years before his own birth, Nate must find a way to subsist in the world; while attempting to keep his origins, technology and capabilities hidden.
Vocalist/Guitarist Jon says: "This album will seem like a long time coming, since the band had been releasing something every year like clockwork for quite a while. We missed 2019 - sorry! Or did we? Anyway, it feels good to be back, and to take the Spacial Operations story further and to a conclusion of sorts."
Malignment was recorded over a two-year period in various studios and bunkers; finally pieced together, mixed and mastered by Damian Herring (Horrendous, Blood Incantation) May-July 2020 (subterraneanwatchtower). Front cover artwork excellently imagined by All4Band.com.
