THIS DAY 30 YEARS AGO ENTOMBED RELEASED "LEFT HAND PATH"

On June 4th, 1990, the swedish death metal machine ENTOMBED released their debut album. The album was released through Earache Records. Some of the arrangements on the tunes were from the times when the band was known as NIHILIST. The album was recorded and mixed at the famous Sunlight Studio in Stockholm on December 1989 and was co-produced by Entombed. The line-up that recorded the album was: Lars-Göran Petrov on vocals; Uffe Cederlund on guitars and bass; Alex Hellid on lead guitars and Nicke Andersson on drums and bass. PAIN WILL STREAM 360° VIRTUAL REALITY SHOW FROM ABYSS STUDIO ON JUNE 12th

Electronic industrial metal band PAIN, fronted by HYPOCRISY´s mastermind Peter Tägtgren have announced a 360° live show using virtual reality technology. The show will be on on June 12 at, 7 PM, CET / 1 PM, EDT/10 AM, PDT (chech your time frame) and will be transmited from the legendary Abyss Studio in Sweden (property of Mr. Tägtgren). The show will make use of 360 VR streaming technology, high-quality 8K video and 360 surround sound. More info on:

ANGEL OF DISEASE STREAMS NEW ALBUM "OBSCURE CONJURING"

Georgian progressive death metal band ANGEL OF DISEASE are streaming their new album "Obscure Conjuring" on their Bandcamp page. The album is the second full length release by the band. The debut album "Hypercube" was released in 2009, so it took eleven years for "Obscure Conjuring" to surface. The album was released on May 21st and wasrecorded in the year 2019 in AOD Records in collaboration with Noise Harmony Studio. The mixing and mastering was done by La Source Studio. More info on:

BLADE OF SURTR RELEASED "HEATHEN"

Tampa, Florida one man black metal band BLADE OF SURTR has released on May 31st the third album, entitled "Heathen". This is the follow up to the "Midgard" full length released earlier this year (BLADE OF SURTR´s debut album "Legendarium" was also released in 2020. NO POINT IN LIVING STREAM "LAST CHOICE IS OURS" ALBUM

Japanese depressive black metal one man band NO POINT IN LIVING is streaming their latest full length "Last Choice is Ours" on their Bandcamp site.Tis one man project is extremely prolific and has released five full length albums in 2019 and many albums, EPs and splits since 2017. PARALYSIS STREAM "MOB JUSTICE" ALBUM

New Jersey thrash metal / crossover band PARALYSIS are streaming their new album "Mob Justice" on their Bandcamp and YouTube sites. The album was released on May 29th on CD and transparent orange vinyl and is the second full length release recorded by the band. The debut album, "Life Sentence", was released in 2017. After that they released a split with FACE FIRST in 2018. "Mob Justice" was  produced, recorded, and mixed at Bricktop Studios in Chicago, Illinois and mastered at Audiosiege in Portland, Oregon. SCABBARD RE-RELEASE "BEGINNING OF EXTINCTION"

Czech death metal band SCABBARD will re-release their 1996 album "Beginning of Extinction" on June 6th. The album will be re-released in an edition of 1000 copies through Awakening Records. "Beginning of Extinction" was recorded and mixed at Exponent Studio, Hlohovec, Slovakia between 2/7-2/15/96, was mastered at Rudolfinum Studio, Praha and was produced by Scabbard. The band also released the album "Extended Mirror" in 1999 before splitting up. They have reunited in 2016. More info on:
