Blood Conscript, recorded at Artifact Audio by drummer, vocalist, lyricist, and producer Sasha Stroud (Belexum, Onw), spins a cursed and bloody tale of dark, ancient mythology, a hateful pantheon, and ensanguined revenge. Guitarist Melissa Moore (Crossspitter, Sonja) and bassist FW (Manat)--along with guest guitarist/songwriter Mia Priest (ex-Impiety) on the track “Corpse Step”--join Stroud to realize SEV LEZU’s strict creative vision: GRINDING, MELODIC BLACK DEATH. An unrelenting force of misanthropic darkness, SEV LEZU rises to kill!

Born in 2022, NYC/Philly/PNW black metal outfit SEV LEZU delivers sonic malignancy rooted in the sounds of old, with musicality drawing from the frigid majesty of the Swedish tradition (à la Dissection, Bathory) and Finnish institutions Sargeist, Horna, and Satanic Warmaster, all channeled through the grinding rhythmic violence of Terrorizer and Nasum, the warhorse charge of Iron Maiden, and the sharpness and percussive dynamism of Death’s final records.

London technical metal destroyers PERPETUAL PARADOX have given release to their newest EP, May Misery Befall You.

May Misery Befall You is a five-song rager pulls PERPETUAL PARADOX back towards a riff-first approach to songwriting - technical death metal with blast beats, shred and melody, without letting the technicality take center stage. After the broader sprawl of their 2025 full-length, Deathwish, the band sought to make something more focused and unified, where riffs, solos, breakdowns and stronger compositional turns feel like proper sections rather than ideas stitched together in the studio.

BIO:

Formed in London in 2021, PERPETUAL PARADOX have quickly become a standout name in the UK underground metal scene. Built around heavy, emotionally charged songwriting, the band have released several EPs, toured across the UK and Europe, and earned support from BBC Radio 1, Kerrang! and Metal Hammer. Their debut album Deathwish marked a major step up, sharpening their sound and cementing their reputation for intense, technically driven modern metal.

Now, PERPETUAL PARADOX enter a new chapter with the release of their latest EP, May Misery Befall You. Darker, heavier and more focused, it captures a band pushing further into themes of grief, trauma and resilience while continuing to build serious momentum.
