Venomous Echoes present us with a discordant, unhinged offering of cosmic horror that listeners will find as stimulating as they do unsettling.  Fans of Mayhem's Esoteric Warfare and later career Marduk will find plenty to love here and yet so will fans of atmospheric dissonant death metal acts such as Ulcerate or Portal. In between all of this you'll find subtle progressive and at times even jazzy influences woven into the brutality of the release. There's an amazing balance struck between technicality, atmosphere and dissonance that rounds the album out perfectly. Overall this is an album that feels both familiar and yet completely alien and otherworldly, with its madness being its greatest asset.

About CULT BURIAL: 

CULT BURIAL is a blackened death-doom band from London. Having formed in early 2020 the project rapidly developed, with the collective starting from scratch and finishing an EP and an album within four months. The result was a punishingly heavy record that sought to draw some of the darkest elements from the textures and atmospheres of less heavy music. This desire for crushing sounds has driven CULT BURIAL to the next level, setting them distinctly apart from many of their contemporaries. 

The EP Oblivion followed in late 2021, pushing their blackened death metal sound forward in new directions. Metal Injection described the EP simply as “Three tracks, no survivors”. Other critics suggested that the EP signals “a musical future without boundaries”.     

Despite their growing success, CULT BURIAL remains a DIY project, fueled by a desire to explore the depths of the human experience through the tormented magic of the baritone guitar. Their ambition, power, and unique sound make them a force to be reckoned with in the underground metal scene. As the band prepares to release their second LP, they continue to conjure new madness and await their next opportunity to strike. CULT BURIAL is a band to watch, and their music is not to be missed.

BIOGRAPHY: 

Earthblood was founded in the spring of 2023 by a trio of friends, fusing classic elements of Stoner rock and Sludge metal with the fast tempos and riffing of genres such as Thrash and Death metal.

The band pursues an all-around thundering sound in their music, humorously describing it themselves as “Frenzied ape thunder metal” 

Their objective is to plow through gigs with raw and primal energy so that their thunder might be heard globally.

Earthblood will release their first EP titled “Primal Fury” on September 22nd 2023 and they are well on their way with the recording of their second EP which is to be announced later this year.

Death metal quartet ESHTADUR are preparing to unleash their ferocious new offering, "Umbra". Thematically, the track explores cosmogony, philosophy, mysticism, and the magic of the ancient man - the shaman.

Band founder Jorg August comments:

"This is the purest and darkest song I’ve ever written, I am very honored for being able to add a real symphonic orchestra and arrange whole parts, but my favorite addition besides 'Purhepecha' ancient native language of America, is the participation of a very beautiful folk instrument, original from Colombia, the tiple."

The darkest song from ESHTADUR, "Umbra" sees symphonic and real orchestra below the music. Profound and dense with heavy guitars and growls, "Umbra" includes the mystique Colombian original folk instrument 'Tiple' among cellos, violins, horns and aggressive drums, within an ancient native language known as 'Purhepecha' original from (Michoacán) pre-Columbian ancient America C.1200. 

About ESHTADUR:

Based out of Eshtadur, Colombia, the band was founded by Jorg in 2005. Drawing musical influences from the likes of DIMMU BORGIR, BEHEMOTH, AT THE GATES, SEPTIC FLESH and AMON AMARTH, they have since released a pair of EP's and four albums. Meaning the rebellion of angels, ESHTADUR embodies a deathly melodic atmosphere that reaches into realms of darkness and despair through the decay of humanity. It seeks to rebel, in its darkened way, embracing the abject reality. Their rich touring history includes performances across Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Poland, Czechia, Hungary and Slovakia. They have shared the stage and toured with CRADLE OF FILTH, VADER, GRAVEWORM, SEPULTURA, ABORTED and DECAPITATED in Rock Al Parque in 2016. In 2022, the band toured supporting BATUSHKA and DIABOLICAL, this time visiting Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Austria, Slovenia, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and Switzerland. In 2023 ESHTADUR played at the 70000tons of metal being the only band from Colombia this year.
