GUTVOID RELEASE "ASTRAL BESTIARY" ON CD AND CASSETTE

 

Canadian death metal band GUTVOID will release their EP "Astral Bestiary" on CD and cassette formats on August 28th. The EP was originally released at the end of October 2019 in digital format and now they are releasing it on CD and cassette through Blood Harvest label. The band has also released a single, "Forbidden City Beneath the Crypt" last June. More info on:

WEED IS WEED REISSUES "BLUNT FORCE TRAUMA" ON VINYL

Stoner supergroup Weed is Weed featuring members of Sprit Caravan, Pentagram and Earthride will be rereleasing their debut album "Blunt Force Trauma", originally released in 2013, on vinyl format. the band features Dave Sherman (Earthride,Ectoplasm, Spirit Caravan) on vocals and guitars, Gary "The Iceman" Isom (ex Pentagra, ex Spirit Caravan) on guitars, Darren Waters on bass, Rob Portillo on guitars, Jason Fisher on guitars and Cougin (ex Indestroy, ex Land of Doom) on drums. The vinyl version of "Blunt Force Trauma" will be released in October through Ripple Music label.

MESHUGGAH REISSUES 2004 EP

Swedish metal masters Meshuggah will be re-releaseing their 2004 EP entitled "I". The EP originally featured only one 21 minute long track but the re-issue will feature alos two live tracks for the tunes "Bleed" and "Dancers to a Discordant System" and also a studio track originally recorded in 2003 entitled Pitch Black". 

EXCEL TO RE-RELEASE "SPLIT IMAGE"

Reunited thrashers Excel are re-releasing theur debut album "Split Image" with plenty of bonus tracks. The album was originally produced by Randy Burns (Kreator, Death, Possessed and many more). Now the band will reissue the classic album through Southern Lord Records. The reissue will contain several demos, such as the "Sonic Decapitation" and "Refuse to Quit" ones and alternative cover art. There is also a vinyl version of the album.

DEATH - STREAM OF "LEPROSY" 2-CD REISSUE ONLINE

Relapse Records is reissuing Death`s classic 1988  album "Leprosy" with many surprises. THe reissue will be released between April 25th and April 29th and the album was remastered by Alan Douches (Mastodon, Nile). The 2 CD issue contains over 50 minutes of previously unreleased demos and rehearsals. There is also a 3 CD deluxe version that includes also over 40 minutes of live material. MASSACRA REISSUES CLASSIC FIRST THREE ALBUMS

Massacra`s guitarist Jean-Marc Tristani is re-releasing the first three albums of the band. the date for the reissue is June 2nd and the albums will be released by Century Media Records. Tristani issued the following statement: “Massacra are proud to present you the official reissues of the first three albums Final Holocaust (1990), Enjoy The Violence (1991) and Signs Of The Decline (1992). Century Media worked hard to add extra value to these releases. The packaging is really nice and you can find lots of extra stuff in there: detailed interviews, tons of rare photos etc! We also wanted to make as much as possible visible of Formosa’s excellent artworks, so we scanned the original LPs and came up with designs that fit to the spirit of last year’s Day Of The Massacra demo compilation. On the CDs you will find some pretty interesting bonus material like an unreleased live show from 1990 from my personal archive, some bootleg tracks plus a rehearsal recording that was previously published with very bad sound and disguised as live tracks with no track-listing. That rehearsal also includes a song (“Cyclone”) that has never been re-recorded afterwards. A lot of the material we used was provided by real diehard collectors out there, so a special thanks to them for supporting this project! 

As you can see we picked the French national colours for the vinyl. Consider it as an ironic statement, we know where we come from but Massacra definitely was not the band to make peace with anyone. Overall these are the definite editions of such albums that hopefully put an end to all the bootlegs and satisfy all the Massacra maniacs out there! Enjoy the violence!”
