What a deep voice has Kevin Mulligan!! He has a really subtle way of singing and he is really expressive. Also Kevin is a great songwriter and he creates songs where he can be accompanied by his band or where he can sing along his guitar. The songs are really acoustic here going from really folk like music, to blues (on "Rivertown"), to rock´n´roll (on "To Love Somebody"). The main feature here is that he makes great songs, and that he sings them in a great way. This is a CD to play loud to listen his slithering guitar arpeggios and his voice going everywhere and letting him charm your ears. Most of the tracks here are played live and you can listen Mulligan´s interaction with the audience. He has great musicians in his band like Barry McNeese on fretless bass or Steve Willaert on piano and keyboards. Favorite tracks: The whole album. Contact: www.carbon7.com
