CARNIVOROUS FOREST RELEASE "DOGS AND DEVILS"

CARNIVOROUS FOREST, known for their blackened death metal prowess, is set to release their new album "DOGS AND DEVILS." Led by the enigmatic AMAROK, the one-man project marks its first album since relocating back to Canada from the UK. AMAROK, the force behind CARNIVOROUS FOREST, describes the album as a foray into diverse metal sub-genres. "This album intermingles death metal, black metal, doom metal, goth rock, thrash metal, grindcore, and even touches of synthpop. It's undoubtedly our most experimental work," he shares. The lyrical themes delve into freedom, struggle, and control, offering a reflective narrative.

Italian label Time To Kill Records will release “Mesmerized - A Tribute to Celtic Frost” on January 26th 2024.

“Mesmerized” features various Italian metal bands presenting their interpretation of songs written by Switzerland’s most iconic metal band ever.

“When we play a song by another band, we always try to put our own twist to it. While respecting the structure of the song, we like to experiment with the arrangements in order to bring the music closer to our style. Of course Celtic Frost always had a unique sound so this job was not so simple and obvious.

The pre-production phase was very intense and first involved Peso and then both Pier and GL, before giving Flegias the freedom to express himself as he wanted. We are very happy with the final result and hopefully our fans will love it too”.

After the release of “Discharged vol. 2- A tribute to Discharge”, Time To Kill Records is now ready to bring the curtain down on another murdersome tribute compilation curated once again by Alberto Penzin (SCHIZO original founding member and prime mover for the whole Italian extreme metal scene). To quote him, “Celtic Frost was simply the epitome of everything the metal genre had set to demolish. Only Death is real.”

All bands involved have become notorious as some of the hardest working acts around, bringing their volcanic, high energy metal to every corner of the world.
