Progressive death metal outfit Revocation have released a new music video for the song Godforsaken off the band’s current album, Netherheaven. The video was directed by David Brodsky and Allie Woest of My Good Eye (mgenyc.com).
“Heavy metal heathens rejoice! Today we premiere our new music video for Godforsaken which was once again filmed by the dynamic duo of directors, David Brodsky and Allie Woest. We’ll be playing this one live for the next few months on our upcoming world tour, get ready to do some calisthenics in the pit for this banger!” comments guitarist and vocalist David Davidson.

The band is kicking off 2023 with a headline tour taking them through Europe and the UK featuring special guests Goatwhore, Alluvial, and Creeping Death. The tour starts next week on January 19 in Wiesbaden, Germany and wraps up in Hannover, Germany on February 18. See below for all dates!

The majority of the songs presented here have sat in various states for upwards of five years, slowly morphing ideas and changing here and there. Once the first incarnations were written and recorded, my muses worked effortlessly to persuade me to rework ideas, pull influence from various mediums, ultimately manifesting in this album. Cold, nocturnal, vengeful, spellbound by the manifestation of nature's fury.

Formely, the indigenous (Mapuche) of the land of the extreme south of South America, when they died, were entitled to a funeral ceremony that lasted four days accompanied, in celebration, dances and rituals. The deceased was then taken to the cemetery, which in the native language of "mapuzungun" means ELTUN, which is why the band bears this name, to honor the place where their ancestors, ancient warriors and mages live. And thus feel that they are part of the ancestral death of their lands.
After a demo in 2014, an EP in 2016, "A la Sombra del Pillán" is ELTUN's first full album

Finland-based VIITA is Jakke Viitala's solo project founded in 2021.
The music of VIITA can be described as a mixture of EPIC movie sound tracks and progressive metal. The whole package is glued together with a synthwave-influenced soundscapes of the 80's and todays modern metal production.
Viitala is responsible for writing the songs and their performance from instruments to vocals. He has also produced and mixed/mastered the album himself. Stories were written by Mikko Häkkinen.
