South Korean thrash veterans SAHON, will be released their seventh LP Blood Shall Be Paid via the American label Brutal Records on March 8th, 2024

 Brutal Records is thrilled to announce their exciting new partnership with South Korea Thrash Metal group trio SAHON, signed a worldwide distribution deal for Digital and Physical with the label.

SAHON's upcoming album, "Blood Shall Be Paid" is a nine-track blitzkrieg of thrash metal that hits like a sonic avalanche. This album doesn't just start strong; it explodes with an unrelenting ferocity and a speed that feels like a sonic assault from start to finish. It's a relentless onslaught that showcases SAHON's mastery honed over decades.

Their distinctive fusion of genres and influences, coupled with emotionally charged lyrics, assures an auditory experience that is both profound and thought-provoking.

"Tomorrow Will Be Better?" was meticulously crafted from May 2021 to October 2022 at Sumo Studios in Perth, Western Australia. The album's production was overseen by Tristan Sturmer, with Daniel Thabet handling the mixing at Liquid Studios in Dorset, Vermont, USA. Grammy award-winning engineer Alan Douches (known for his work with Cannibal Corpse, Devildriver, Prong) took charge of the mastering at West Side Music in New Windsor, New York, USA. 

The album's artwork and layout were expertly crafted by Kat Atkinson at Beautiful Chaos Art and Design.

"Tomorrow Will Be Better?" is set for its global release on February 9th, 2024, through Brutal Records, and will be accessible on all digital streaming platforms, Digital, and on Digipak (CD)

EARTHBLOOD RELEASE NEW TRACK FROM EP "WITCHBURNER"

Finnish Sludge-Doom metal band Earthblood is set to release their second EP titled 'Witchburner' on April 18th 2024 via Inverse Records. The Finns seem to be quite productive while it's been only half a year since their critically acclaimed debut EP 'Primal Fury'.  

The first single "Sons of Heavy Rain" taken from the upcoming second EP is more melodic than its predecessor, but the soundscape remains the same. The fuzz guitar rumbles, the dirty bass growls and the drums beat like thunder.

BIOGRAPHY: 

Earthblood was founded in the spring of 2023 by a group of friends, fusing elements of dirty and gritty Sludge with the fast tempos and riffing of genres such as Thrash and Death metal. They humorously describe this sonic wall of sound as Thunder Ape metal.

Earthbloods first EP titled “Primal Fury” was released by Inverse records in the September of 2023.

Their sophomore EP bearing the name “Witchburner” will be branded upon the world on April 18th 2024 via Inverse Records.
