WAIDELOTTE is a new Extreme Metal band from Ukraine combining Black Metal, melodic Death Metal and Progressive Metal with traditional Folk singing and instrumentation. The project gathers individuals with diverse musical backgrounds, including members of SOEN, WHITE WARD, NAONI ORCHESTRA, ТІНЬ СОНЦЯ and SOLAR KOLLAPSE amongst others.

Impassioned and addictive debut album "Celestial Shrine" balances violent riffing, driving rhythms, fluid basslines and raging vocals with a poignant sense of melancholy via plaintive, exultant rural harmonies and the use of native instruments including the duduk, bandura, tsymbaly and hurdy-gurdy.

Thematically the record depicts one individual's journey through despair, death and ultimately rebirth. The central character, disillusioned by the relentless disappointments of life and the disarray of the world around, becomes a vessel for the album's exploration of tension, transformation and catharsis.

Main composer/bassist Oleksii "Zlatoyar" Kobel comments:

"WAIDELOTTE tells the story of reaching light by walking through darkness. You will need to pass inner hell with all its darkest corners. There is nothing more intense and destructive than the struggle that takes place in one's mind and pushes one to self-demise, the soul-eater that breeds despair."

"Despondency Chord Progressions", the aptly-titled and movingly dynamic third album from SELBST, finds the Latin American Black Metal band deepening, clarifying and confidently channelling the dark waters of their already elaborate sound.

Following the bludgeoning restlessness of DMP debut, 2020's "Relatos De Angustia", the band here steps forward with a fully-fledged sense of purpose - balancing introspection and anger via beautifully flowing arrangements brimming with impassioned melodies.

SELBST still rain down tumultuous hammer blows - their trademark 'dissonant' Black Metal intensity remains - but these now share equal space with elevated songwriting, assured vocal work, richly intricate musicality and mellifluous leads of the highest quality, glued together by a pristine drum performance from Jonathan Heredia (AVERSIO HUMANITATIS, ETERNAL STORM).

In the words of sole-composer/multi-instrumentalist/vocalist 'N':

"This album represents a personal journey in which I have allowed myself to explore more open musical textures, hence the importance of the title itself. Lyrically, I have created manifestos of self-contempt and reflection that flowed through this solitary journey towards the edges of loneliness, attesting to how insignificant and futile we are in the face of the blind and indifferent nature that surrounds us, of which we will ultimately become a part at the end of our insignificant passage through this world, when it finally consumes us..."

Forged out of the cursed landscape of Rhode Island, American black metal quartet BLACK SORCERY brings forth a new EP release entitled “Plummeting Into The Hour of The Wolf” in digital and limited cassette (100 copies) formats on ETERNAL DEATH RECORDS. Cold and foreboding, caustic, frenzied, and bound by somber introspection and destructive impulse, this latest work is a testament to the raw spirit of traditional black metal and remains devoted to the obscured paths of the genre's unspoiled past. The three tracks are marked by themes of desperation, solitude, perversion, moral decay, and the loss of self in the suffocating darkness of existence – an unforgiving internal labyrinth of shattered mirrors where illumination is obtained through the talisman of suffering and pleasure realized in the ecstasy of willful damnation.
