From the depths of the Irish underground comes Fatal Torture, a new project from prolific anonymous musician Serpent Temptation. Influenced by classic death/thrash hybrid acts like Demolition Hammer, Morbid Saint and Incubus/Opprobrium, with shades of English Dogs and Voivod in their thrashiest moments, Fatal Torture delivers on the promise of twisting, chaotic metal with Hardcore influence. On debut EP Savage Depths of Hell, Serpent Temptation delivers anarchistic political screeds over a thrash metal base. On “Systems of Violence” Fatal Torture links throat-shredding, mid-paced death metal with thrash gang vocals and headbanger riffs. Other songs, like Realisation Denied, are rawer in their execution, bringing to mind thoughts of butchery and police executions. “Savage Depths of Hell is the kind of twisting, ADHD chaos structured, madness that draws me to thrash” explains Serpent Temptation. “No filler, a few samples for flavour, lots of mosh parts.” Mixed and mastered by Andrew Lee (Ripped to Shreds, Skullsmasher, Draghkar), Savage Depths of Hell is a 3-track EP for the purists who like a fresh sound in an old style.

UK Thrashcore band CEREBRAL SCAR are the newest member of the 1054 roster & this new EP is a killer !!!!

Band Bio :

Founded in the summer of 2014 by Ex GUTWORM guitarist Lee Mason who approached FREEBASE vocalist Mark Fieldhouse with a vision to create a Thrash based band to get in peoples faces by creating heavy riff based songs with old school Hardcore crossover foundations. Upon Lee’s recommendation to recruit Rhys “Duke” Kelly (Ex BORELIAMASS) A set was quickly written and the recruitment of a Bassist and Drummer saw the band ready to gig.April 2015 saw the band make it’s live debut and the bands set was met with positive enthusiasm and a following was formed in the Northamptonshire and Midlands scene. The band have supported bands such as NERVOSA (BRAZIL) MASTER (USA) ROSS THE BOSS (EX MANOWAR USA) WARBELT (POLAND) and appeared at the prestigious SIEGE OF LIMERICK festival (IRELAND) This line up 2 EPs produced by renowned producer Russ Russell (AT THE GATES, NAPALM DEATH and DIMMU BORGIR among his  works) NO REMORSE REQUIRED and RIDE THE QUARREL both released on the MOSH TUNEAGE LABEL.

2022 saw CEREBRAL SCAR re-emerge after line up changes occur and a global pandemic stalling the progress of the band. Founding members Lee Mason and Rhys “Duke” Kelly recruited Drummer Stu Songhurst (Ex THUS DEFILED, MEAT TRAIN) Bass player C J Porter (Ex DEAD MANS CHEST) and Vocalist Meathook Mike (Ex WINTER OF TORMENT, LIQUEFIED SKELETON, MEAT TRAIN) to continue the musical juggernaut they had created.

CEREBRAL SCAR have performed several gigs, including a special guest slot at the recently nominated UNEARTHED MUSIC AWARDS as best underground festival GET HEAVY FEST, throughout 2023 laying audiences to waste with a musical onslaught further enhancing their reputation as a must see band. In September they entered PARLOUR RECORDING STUDIOS and recorded a new 4 song EP which they are looking to release in the early part of 2024. The EP FOLLOW THE LIAR showcases 4 songs of Power, Riffs, Melodies and Grooves that will remain in your head long after you’ve heard them. 2024 is the YEAR OF THE LIAR brought to you by the musical colossus that is CEREBRAL SCAR.

Initially released in April 1997 by Bestial Records on tape format, this classic Romanian Death Metal album, Deimos' debut full-length album "Insane", is now getting the CD treatment for the first time!

The CD version comes with an enhanced sound and as bonus the three tracks of the band's demo from 1996 with their original sound.
