NEW METAL SUPERGROUP: HOW WE END (FEAT. PRIMAL FEAR AND FORMER EVANESCENCE, NERVOSA, AMARANTHE MEMBERS)

 

PRESS RELEASE:

A new metal supergroup has been formed. Their music is a crossover of different metal styles with crushing riffs and electronic elements. The band members are really well known and they come from countries as different as Germany, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland but they all share their talent and love for metal. The band line-up is: Diva Satanica (BLOODHUNTER, ex NERVOSA) on vocals; Jake E. (CYHRA, ex AMARANTHE) on vocals; Jen Majura (JEN MAJURA, ex EVANESCENCE) on guitars; Tom Naumann (PRIMAL FEAR); Mitch Kunz (who has done recording and mixing for SINNER) on bass and synths and session virtuoso drummer Adde Larsson.

EX SEPULTURA GUITARIST JAIRO "TORMENTOR" GUEDZ NEW BAND: THE TROOPS OF DOOM

Former SEPULTURA guitarist Jairo “Tormentor” Guedz has launched a new band called THE TROOPS OF DOOM . The band includes Marcelo Vasco on guitars, Alex Kafer (ex NECROMANCER, EXPLICIT HATE, ENTERRO) on bass and vocals and Alexandre Oliveira (SOUTHERN BLACKLIST) on drums. The band has signed with Nuclear Blast´s extreme sublabel Blood Blast to release their debut EP “The Rise Of Heresy”. The EP will feature four new tracks and new versions of SEPULTURA´s "Troops of Doom" and "Bestial Devastation". Jairo Guedz played on the first two SEPULTURA releases: the "Bestial Devastation" EP from 1985 and the debut album "Morbid Visions" from 1986. You can see a teaser below: 

THROWN AWAY TEARS - NEW DOOM METAL BAND FETURING MIDNATTSOL MEMBERS

Daniel Fischer, keyboardist and Stephan Adolf guitarist from the German / Norwegian metal band MIDNATTSOL (featuring Liv Kristine Espenæs and her sister Carmen Elise on vocals) have started a new doom metal band THROWN AWAY TEARS. SPIRITS OF FIRE is the name of a new band that features Tim "Ripper" Owens (ex JUDAS PRIEST and many bands) on vocals, Chris Caffery (SAVATAGE, TRANSIBERIAN ORCHESTRA and many more)  on guitars, Steve DiGiorgio (TESTAMENT, DEATH, SADUS and more) on bass and Mark Zonder (FATES WARNING, WARLORD and more) on drums. The band is recording their debut album for a release in early 2018.

Former TYPE O NEGATIVE and DANZIG guitarist Kenny Hickey and drummer Johnny Kelly have joined former AGNOSTIC FRONT guitarist Joseph James and Hank Hell and Aaron Joos to form a new band named SILVERTOMB. The band will play their first live show on August 26th at the Ride For Dime at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey. Below you can check the band´s sound.

Uncivil War is the name of the band created by guitarist/vocalist Scott Owen (Subversion A.D., ex-Eliminate, ex-Hirax, ex-Piranha), drummer Joe Cangelosi (Brooklyn Militia, ex-Eliminate, ex-Whiplash, ex-Kreator) and bassist Rich Day (Brooklyn Militia  ex-Primal Scream, ex-Whiplash). Their music is pure thrash metal. Both Owen and Cangelosi were playing in ex Dark Angel vocalist Don Doy band, Eliminate. Uncivil War has finished recording a demo that will be mixed in April.

Uncivil War es el nombre de la banda creada por el guitarrista/vocalista Scott Owen (Subversion A.D., ex-Eliminate, ex-Hirax, ex-Piranha), el baterista Joe Cangelosi (Brooklyn Militia, ex-Eliminate, ex-Whiplash, ex-Kreator) y el bajista Rich Day (Brooklyn Militia  ex-Primal Scream, ex-Whiplash). La música de la banda es puro thrash metal. Ambos Owen y Cangelosi estaban tocan junto al ex vocalista de Dark Angel, Don Doy, en su banda Eliminate. Uncivil War ha terminado de grabar un demo que será mezclado en abril.
