The band’s lineup features heavy metal veterans:

Jo Steel (ICE WAR, DEVIL CROSS) on bass,

Cara McCutchen (MORTILLERY, NAITAKA) on vocals,

Jeff on guitar, and

Alex Rossi (KONQUEST) on drums.

The Story Behind ON FIRE

ON FIRE began in late 2022 with a simple yet electrifying idea: Jo Steel shared images of mid-80s Japanese metal bands like DEMENTIA, PROWLER, and CROWLEY, accompanied by the message, “Looking to start a band that looks like this.” The concept drew the attention of Cara McCutchen, whose experience in MORTILLERY and NAITAKA brought undeniable power to the lineup.

After a series of lineup changes, guitarist Jeff and Italian drummer Alex Rossi (KONQUEST) completed the roster, infusing ON FIRE with their own dynamic energy. Recorded and refined through 2024, Bite The Blade stands as a testament to their dedication and passion for creating fast-paced, raw Power/Speed Metal.
