PRESS RELEASE:
Dantalion
Dantalion
Base Record Production
1 November 2026
Dantalion, one of the leading bands on the Galician extreme metal scene, will release their self-titled album on November the 1st. This time, their tenth opus focuses on the decline of our species, emotional emptiness, and evil as an inherent part of human nature.
Featuring cover artwork by the Russian artist Vergvoktre, which perfectly captures all the negativity pervading this album, Dantalion was recorded, mixed and mastered at B2V Estudios by Brais Barreiro, and will be released by Base Record Production on LP, jewel case, digipack and digisleeve CD, as well as on cassette.
For this work, Netzja (guitars, bass) and Naemoth (drums) have once again called on Diego to provide vocals; he was previously a member of the band between 2013 and 2019. With a crisp and emotive sound, the duo have managed to find beauty amidst the darkness and despair, resulting in an excellent, varied album of atmospheric black metal.
Fans of Mgła, Primordial, Forgotten Tomb, Lantlôs or Gaerea certainly shouldn’t miss this opus.
