Following the success of the 2021 album “Echoes Of The Abyss” the East Anglian four piece, ELIMINATION, return with an intense slab of Thrash Metal, influenced by false idols and the influence the media has on people.
The snarling thrash beast ELIMINATION awoke from its quiet slumber in 2020 with a new line-up and a clear maturation in identity, hurtling its way back into the murky underground with full force, smashing its way into the New Wave of Thrash Metal once more. With a voracious appetite for harvesting thrashers’ souls, and an equally insatiable desire to lay down its razor-sharp riffs of destruction once more, ELIMINATION took its audial assault to dizzying new heights, punishing with the gargantuan EP, “Of Gods and Beasts”. Rammed with violent tempos, neck-wrecking riffs, and strapping vocals, this three-track heavyweight was a precursor to the blistering, critically acclaimed 2021 full-length, “Echoes of the Abyss”, a strikingly seismic, uncompromising thrash offering that won the hearts and souls of thrashers worldwide.
After producing such a bruising release, it would only be a matter of time until ELIMINATION’s uncompromising thrash brawn would become an inevitable feature of the gig-circuit and festivals once more. With appearances at Hammerfest and HRH Metal under the band’s belt, it was August 2021 that celebrated one of the highlights of the band’s career, playing a spectacularly impassioned set on the Jägermeister stage at Bloodstock Open Air; ELIMINATION wasn’t there to maim, but rather set on stuffing the rambunctious crowd like a fat, juicy slab of fois gras, filling them with their furious cuts until their ears were fit to burst. Subsequent sets at Deadsoul Fest and Dayfest continued to fuel ELIMINATION’s desire to share its bold and bloody thrash with the metal scene, with more appearances at established festivals on the horizon. With 2022 welcoming the addition of new drummer, Gus Ratcliffe, to add to ELIMINATION’s heavy artillery and its metallic maelstrom, the band hellbent on forging a new chapter in its ambitious journey to eliminate thrash souls worldwide.

Bay Area Thrash Metal legend Blind Illusion returns after 34 years with a follow-up to “The Sane Asylum”, featuring Doug Piercy (ex-Heathen) and Andy Gallon (ex-Death Angel)!
Thrash as a primitive, earthy genre has given us many greats: Metallica, Slayer, Exodus, Death Angel, Heathen and the like. But the more calculated, technical, and ultimately colorful inventors of progressive Thrash, a genre that blossomed handsomely after Watchtower’s debut in 1985, are what truly push the limits of Thrash and test its creative bandwidth. Blind Illusion on their new album “Wrath of the Gods”, achieve this to a degree that has seldom been approached, let alone passed, in the rest of Thrash history, just as they did 34 years ago on “The Sane Asylum”.
What is most impressive and revealing about this album, however, is not the technical ability of the musicians involved (although there is nothing wrong with their ability). It’s the pure brilliance that shapes every song, and the demonstration of how focusing on the art of songwriting will work wonders for a band. “Straight as the Crowbar Flies” introduces us first to the astral energy this album exudes, with catchy riffing and Marc Biedermann’s raspy, growling vocals. The screeching guitar solos and the abrupt rhythm changes keep the song fresh, but the band’s incorporation of technical Thrash elements crossed with extremely catchy riffing and drum arrangements proves to be the strong attributes of this album. There are numerous instances where the band finds its virtue in slowing down, letting a power chord ring out, and then letting the drums restart and propel the song once again.When the band decides to let their guard down and get cagey or manic with the rhythm, it’s done so with precision and doesn’t come at the expense of the song structure. When they get technical, the notes still vibrate with emotion, and the song doesn’t just become a vacuum for skills to be shown off. This message is most evident in every song, which all feature catchy guitar licks and great guitar riffs. What Blind Illusion does best on this new masterpiece is deliver cleverly-written and fun songs with catchy riffs. At the heart of Thrash, that’s really all you can ask for. The effects of how masterfully composed this album is has lend the production a unique ethos that makes it feel human. This is a group of guys who know what die-hard Thrash fans want to hear, and they know how to put it on their 2022 album “Wrath of the Gods”.

SIGN OF DEATH is a quite new Germany band which plays thrash metal.
Band was set up in February 2019 by Oskar (guitar), Gannis (guitar), Georg (vocal), followed by Paweł (drums) and Klaus (bass) which has been replaced after few months by Rene. At the beginning of 2021 - Puggy joined as drummer.
In October 2021 band came into the studio to record first EP.
Music was recorded during autumn 2021 with cooperation of Rolf Munkes (Crematory), who is also responsible for mix and mastering at Empire Studios.

“This is the first VIO-LENCE song I had written in close to 30 years,” admits founding guitarist Phil Demmel. “I wanted to keep some of those early Eternal Nightmare (debut album, 1988) qualities intact but infuse a lot of what I’ve culled into my songwriting arsenal over the decades. ‘Flesh From Bone’ has the frenetic picking/fingering riffs and the solo trade-offs that are pretty old-school, and I’m also wearing my influences on my sleeve with a few Exodus and Slayer inspired riffs.“
Frontman Sean Killian adds, “‘Flesh From Bone’ reflects on the true suffering of man during the dark ages of history. Laws and rules of people like Vlad the Impaler were not to be broken, if you did your sentence would be impalement, or worse. To die in battle was to suffer.“

FUELED BY FIRE was formed in 2002 by a group of Southern California teenagers that bonded over a love of '80s thrash metal acts such as Exodus, Testament and Possessed. The group recorded their first demo in 2004 and emerged as a persistent presence on local concerts throughout the greater Los Angeles region. Those shows saw them open for many of the iconic acts that they grew up worshipping, as well as performing alongside other burgeoning thrash bands that were emerging around them in Southern California such as Warbringer and Hexen. The group initially self-released their 2006 debut album, “Spread The Fire.” The album was praised by AllMusic.com for its “authentic thrash,” and the combination of their impressive studio effort and prolific live performances earned the attention of Metal Blade Records, who reissued the record a year later.
The group soon spread their sound on stages across the United States alongside fellow rising thrashers such as Bonded by Blood and Merciless Death before re-emerging with their self-released 2010 follow-up record, “Plunging Into Darkness.” That album was applauded by Metal-Rules.com for serving as a reminder of “just how vibrant thrash metal can be,” and the band followed up that momentum by touring Europe alongside heavy hitters such as Kreator, Morbid Angel and Nile. The group applied a more sinister tone to their lyrics and compositions on 2013's “Trapped in Perdition,” which was released by NoiseArt Records and produced by Erik Rutan (Hate Eternal, Cannibal Corpse). The album received accolades from Burning Ambulance for being “their best album yet” and – alongside well-received performances the following year on European festivals such as Hellfest and Metalfest Open Air Loreley – cemented FUELED BY FIRE's reputation as generators of powerful thrash metal.

The project was formed in 1989 in Santiago, Chile by a Gonzalo Rodriguez, Fransua Tapia, Paolo Maugard, Jorge Caballero and Ignacio Orellana, shortly after the release of its first demo in 1992, the two guitar players and bass player left the band, they were replaced by Alfredo Viciencio and Jose Jara, with them the band released an EP called ‘New God’ in 1997. The band joined a small but powerful and enthusiastic local heavy metal scene. After releasing two demos in 1992 and 1994, the band issued an EP called New God in 1997. In 2011, the band was reformed by Ignacio Orellana, Ron Buckner, Bill Smith and Gonzalo Rodriguez. After released two single tracks, Gonzalo Rodriguez left the band due to personal reasons. In 2013 the band re released their demos under the name of ‘ Infected Brutality’. In 2017 the band rerelease the EP’ New God’ remastered. In 2021 the band have released is long waiting album called ' Know Thyself'. Pirosaint plays in a technical style, featuring fast rhythm sections and complex arrangements; themes of personal life and social problems are prominent in the group’s lyrics.
